Well you have to look at it from his perspective. He's like a celebrity trying to have a regular conversation with people and the topic derailer was like the paparazzi. Not all celebrities like the paparazzi... Especially when they just wanna have normal fun.

When business is involved opinions matter yes. But business was NOT involved in that thread, at all. This whole off-topic topic was a meaningless mess from the start, and the one that started it knows that...

It is very telling that, every time this post gets brought up, it's as an image, and not as an actual quote. Because it makes finding the original context basically impossible.

It was, as they say, a "fluff" thread where nothing said was related to business whatsoever, it was all personal opinions. Sadly, some took advantage of Rich's presence and attempted to derail the thread, so Rich responded in kind. Not as a dev, but as a fellow player attempting to keep the thread on topic.

Thanks, though I was honestly just making the point. The entire reason it's presented as a .png is about keeping the average poster from being able to link to the thread and see the actual tone of the conversation. I mean, just consider the number of people going, "no, that quote can't be real," only to be assured that it is, without context. As opposed to actually linking to the comment, and allowing people to see the comment in context.

Yeah which is why I fought the lie to the very end. Haters can be twisted people...

Exactly and personally out of ALL of the 3 this one seemed like the one to have the most potential! And it ended up being the biggest disappointment...

Does anybody know if they will add more "hero" costumes? I know they are not in the trailers (at least the ones I saw) but it would be nice to see what they come up with for the other races!

The lovely belly dance outfit - khajiits favourite - still cannot be worn by many of her apprentices. Instead of the fixing of the issue with the torso looking like a over fermented keg of ale the costume it is just removed from the store - not fixed. Such a shame for such a lovely outfit!

This one is therefore more cautious about the purchase of costumes yes - even if she finds them to her liking.

I bought all the dancing girl outfits without previewing them. First and last time I made that mistake. Never again. Although they DID fix the weird spaghetti legs the pants ended up with. But I have no faith that they will go back and improve the many other problems most of the costumes have. For some reason ANY costume seems to dramatically EXPAND the chest of female characters. On the wedding dress (and the black and red version that is no longer available) the chemise looks like you stuffed your bra with balloons... no matter what breast size you chose for your character during creation. On ANY costume that shows cleavage... there is no cleavage but rather this bizarre widened CHEST that looks entirely out of proportion to the rest of the character's body. On any costume that displays a "corset" instead of nipping in the waist it EXPANDS the waist and makes your character look like a bizarre tube of some sort. And I keep wondering WHY!!!! It's driving me crazy that ZOS will not come in and give us a technical explanation of this bizarre phenomena and tell us what they are attempting to do to correct it.

The dancing of the belly outfit it looks great on this one. It looks great on the Breton. It even looks quite nice on the orc boy.

However on the Redguard girl, whom khajiit intended it for, then suddenly the upper chest is like the giant pumpkin! Big and round and strange!

Welp, I did it. I passed on buying it. Hooray for willpower.

I bought the Treasure Hunter costume instead. I'm looking forward to dyeing that. I don't like the helmet but hey, I can hide it or wear a hat!

I wonder if they'll release a Hero Bundle in a couple of months. Kind of hope they do and update the costume along with it. They probably won't... but I have armor and costumes I like, so I won't be too heartbroken.

I really wish we could have gotten a response from Gina or Jessica or anyone at least saying "your feedback is noted". ):

You know what is really pathetic is ZOS has now had ample time to respond to this thread and has said nothing. Their lack of response just supports my conclusion that they could care less about the concerns of players.

I get why they don't respond to the salt mine threads - treat people like humans and they're more willing to work with you. Just wish they'd respond to threads like this, where the OP has calmly detailed their qualms with the costume without resorting to finger-pointing or name-calling. As-is, I really hope this is the last of their "backlog" of planned costumes and the ones going forward have the same quality that ones like the Treasure Hunter or Toxin Doctor have. Definitely wary of buying now, though.

Yes, I agree. We don't expect them to have a magic wand to fix things instantly, but just acknowledging us would be nice.
