Seriously, no company will care about all their customers. Some customers will never be satisfied; some are just barking mad.
Rich was posting in a thread about personal experiences with the game, and @N0TPLAYER2 was trying to derail the thread, because of his (or her) personal agenda.
Personally, It just confirms my suspicion that /lurk and I'd be the best of buds
He pwnd that sucka straight up old school no political correctness taken into account, just the way I like it. The world would be a better place if people just said what they meant...

Well you have to look at it from his perspective. He's like a celebrity trying to have a regular conversation with people and the topic derailer was like the paparazzi. Not all celebrities like the paparazzi... Especially when they just wanna have normal fun.

There is no way that is real. LMFAO. If that is real, that dude needs to be fired. That's absolutely crazy to see someone that manages a game in some capacity act in this manner.
Oh its real, look for the thread Rich Lambert I'm calling you out. Something like that.
Yeah, it's true, I was live on that thread when it happened.
We can stop this now.
One calls one a fanboy.
The other calls one a schoolyard baby.
But arguments end in fallacies and their arguments lose weight in the end because they resort to these tactics.
At this point it's really just how you view business ethics.
When business is involved opinions matter yes. But business was NOT involved in that thread, at all. This whole off-topic topic was a meaningless mess from the start, and the one that started it knows that...

It is very telling that, every time this post gets brought up, it's as an image, and not as an actual quote. Because it makes finding the original context basically impossible.

If you seek the original thread and the page of said thread his post occured on here it is: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/277898/rich-lambert-im-calling-you-out/p6
It was, as they say, a "fluff" thread where nothing said was related to business whatsoever, it was all personal opinions. Sadly, some took advantage of Rich's presence and attempted to derail the thread, so Rich responded in kind. Not as a dev, but as a fellow player attempting to keep the thread on topic.

Thanks, though I was honestly just making the point. The entire reason it's presented as a .png is about keeping the average poster from being able to link to the thread and see the actual tone of the conversation. I mean, just consider the number of people going, "no, that quote can't be real," only to be assured that it is, without context. As opposed to actually linking to the comment, and allowing people to see the comment in context.

Yeah which is why I fought the lie to the very end. Haters can be twisted people...

If this was yet_another costume in ESO, I guess people wouldn't complain that much. But being ONE of THREE iconic costumes, to make it look this cheap and sell it for 2k crowns limited edition is just plain sad. Not only to the customers and players but also to the game and the ESO trailer. Very low.

The lovely belly dance outfit - khajiits favourite - still cannot be worn by many of her apprentices. Instead of the fixing of the issue with the torso looking like a over fermented keg of ale the costume it is just removed from the store - not fixed. Such a shame for such a lovely outfit!
This one is therefore more cautious about the purchase of costumes yes - even if she finds them to her liking.

Exactlyand personally out of ALL of the 3 this one seemed like the one to have the most potential! And it ended up being the biggest disappointment...
Does anybody know if they will add more "hero" costumes? I know they are not in the trailers (at least the ones I saw) but it would be nice to see what they come up with for the other races!
You know what is really pathetic is ZOS has now had ample time to respond to this thread and has said nothing. Their lack of response just supports my conclusion that they could care less about the concerns of players.

Put a discussion up about how great they are and great the game is, then sit back and watch them jump all over that and interact with the posters.

I get why they don't respond to the salt mine threads - treat people like humans and they're more willing to work with you. Just wish they'd respond to threads like this, where the OP has calmly detailed their qualms with the costume without resorting to finger-pointing or name-calling. As-is, I really hope this is the last of their "backlog" of planned costumes and the ones going forward have the same quality that ones like the Treasure Hunter or Toxin Doctor have. Definitely wary of buying now, though.
