What is going to happen to traits on gear and weapons previously that are legendary? Like, if we don't want that current trait anymore because it's changed from what we initially had.

Either you have precise, sharp or nirn on your weapons, at the very worst you'd have a marginal dps loss. By any means that's ruined, please...

Nirn on all of them, nirn is getting nerfed, Sharpened buffed, so it will be a noticeable damage loss snd extremely expensive to replace them.

Instead, let's ask for for Nirnhoned to be BUFFED. If they add enough spell/weapon damage to Nirn, it will be useful.

Here are the tooltip descriptions for c160 gold daggers.
Powered Increase healing done by 3.5%.
Charged Increase your chance to apply status effects by 110%.
Precise Increase Weapon and Spell Critical values by 3.5%.
Infused Increase weapon enchantment effect by 20% and reduces enchantment cooldown by 40%.
Defending Increases Physical and Spell Resistance by 2580.
Training Increase experience gained from kills by 4.5%.
Sharpened Increase Physical and Spell Penetration by 2580.
Decisive When you gain Ultimate you have a 17% chance to gain 1 additional Ultimate.
Nirnhoned Increases the Damage of this weapon by 11%.

Nirn on all of them, nirn is getting nerfed, Sharpened buffed, so it will be a noticeable damage loss snd extremely expensive to replace them.
Only that's just partially true, and still to be determined. There will be numerous cases where 22% extra spell dmge will out-perform 5k penetrarion. For example, vMol mobs have mostly a rather low amount of Spell Resistance, in environments like trials where debuffs are granted to be stacked sharpened would be pretty useless.
Just stop with this overreaction. You are doing nothing but spreading false information and unnecessary drama.
