    Would be nice if Dunmers could receive a damage bonus to poison as well, at least until barbershop/race change. There used to be some synergy between Dunmers and stam dks; not so anymore.

    The Dragonknight shields seem to be vastly underwhelming with their duration decreased so drastically.

    Do we get a respec? I have invested heavily into Ardent Flame on my DK. And of course in Elemental bonuses in CPs.

    Although I don't use the mentioned abilities over much.

    Honestly the synergy I got with Dunmer meant that even as a Stamina DK I never felt underpowered. I stick a few extra points into Ele Expert and I called it a day. That's really the only reason I lament the change to Poison.

    Can we please have our 20 second Igneous shield back? As a stamina DK that helped to mitigate some damage while giving me a heal boost that you guys already nerf'd by 5%.

    Can fossilize also give resources back if accidentally casted on an enemy who is already rooted or immune to stuns.

    Can Flames of Oblivion go back to an AoE DoT that deals poison damage? (It'll be awesome if it slows enemies in it's AoE too.

    Can we have the visual affects of poison damaging abilities that are in the ardent flame category changed to a blue flame?

    Can we have an execute please? The reason for it's removal is pretty sad imo.

    Can we have increased resource on return for helping hands from 5% to 10%. It's already scaled on our max stamina so when you use a earthen heart ability like Igneous shield the 3.5k cost is too high for someone who's a stamina class. The return isn't that good for what's spent.

    Can scaled armor also give us physical resistance to cater to the tanking class.

    Can Iron skin also reduce the cost of block by 5/10% as well as increase the damage we block by those values (currently does that). Iron skin should now give 20% instead of 10% since heavy armor lost that (for some odd reason GG Nerf to tank builds across the board)

    Can Igneous shield go back to 30% major mending instead of 25% :)?

    Can we have a passive that increases our light and heavy attacks resource return since we're made to be a tank class. A tank needs resources and heavy attacks and light (depending on race) provides our resources back for us to keep tanking.

    Can Dragons blood actually be unaffected by the battle spirit system if not then make it a HoT like rally.

    Can at-least one of the ardent flame stamina abilities provide disease so we can lower the healing received please.

    Can the Elder Dragon or Burning Heart passive give 5-10% healing taken as well as what those passives provide?

    STONE GIANT Make this skill scale with stamina and have physical damage, this skill is better suited for those who play a stamina character like myself. I believe making it a stamina long range cc is better as Magicka already has fossilize and talons.

    Can you change remove or just make the visuals of the current stamina abilities a whole lot better please? To put it bluntly they're awful, no one wants to throw up on people and the venomous claw ability looks bad IMO. I suggest making the visual stay the same as Pre DB but changing the colours to blue.

    Can Cauterize start healing me? This ability should always heal me first or be at a threshold of 75% (where being at or below that percentage the ball will always heal me).

    Just wondering how Many mana dk Will survive this patch. Extinction is Closer.

    "Slightly" increasing cost of blocking and Roll dodge is implicit nerf to magica dk and templars that have to stand on their feet to survive.

    Dont care about igneous shield nerf, so weak anyway it never lasts 6 seconds.

    Is their a single zos employee that remember what was the class designed for ?

    Ardent Flame: all abilities are now poison based? should the name change to "Ardent Poison" since is no more flame..?

    With regards to DK shifting away from flame based attacks and more to poison attacks, what is the big picture reason? more distinction between classes? something else?

    Blocking cost more, but Heavy Armor passives return more magika/stamina to me ...

    Fighters Guild skill can now hit 5 targets (from 2)? I like this.



    Do all of these "poison" based skills apply healing debuffs? as in do i need to invest in the appropriate champion points?

    The animation for Noxious Breath is really awful. The name made me think Bad Breath morph and then the animation looks like projectile vomiting. I was thinking venomous green flames, not hurling after too much Jägermeister.

    Because they want magicka builds to focus in one CP tree and Stamian builds in one tree.

    Problem that Zeni keeps forgetting, magicka dks need to invest in Thurmaturge to get dots since it is a dot class.

    The game was just fine without cp and with softcaps, now you have stam builds running around topping 3K+ regen and 3K+ weapon dmg, where you have the DK standing with no mobility, no execute, no shields, no heals and nothing ranged. Hence why so many switched to stamina,

    Now the stamina changes are out, they are just...killing is frankly.

    Any chance that the Magicka Dk had to be viable in small scale/solo pvp now seems gone. The only hope that a magicka dk had to kill someone was to time all its burst (as little as it was) with a proxy detonation. But now small scale use of proxy detonation seems useless. I truly do not understand this giant oversight by the team in charge of balancing. The most simple solution to dk would be to fix green dragon's blood and make whip actually do noticeable damage.

    I understand that DK's were given a decent heal in burning embers but its better on paper than in practice. In 1v1 it works great. Once you get 3 or more people its not reliable or consistent. You need a heal that is going to be there when you need it. That used to be GDB. It's crazy how when they cut healing in half they neglected the effects on percentage based skills such as GDB. This change to has left the magicka dk crippled.

    Damage on the magicka dk (even after the buffs) was arguable the weakest hitting class. We have no skill that does any real damage. Our bread and butter dps is whip which crits for maybe 6k in most cases. Doesn't even come close when you have frags and WBs that will ocasianally hit you for 15k and then put you on the ground. It seems pretty obvious that Whip needs a dps boost.

    I can appreciate the desire to make the class different by making it dot heavy. It adds a unique style of game play but unfortunately it is not as useful or effective as it sounds. Give the magicka dk a harder hitting whip and a fix for GDB and you can make a whole lot of people happy.

    I picked DK because I like playing as a Dark Elf and their enhanced flame abilities seemed to be the perfect fit, and Stam because, I have the most fun in combat with melee weapons. I love the cost reduction changes for Stam builds, and I like the new crafting traits as well. The Vamp buffs and FG skill line enhancements are awesome too. The class abilities though are less enticing, and I don't understand the wrecking blow nerf at all, since it's really the best/only Stam DK/Sorc single target DD attack. Overall, though, very well done with regard to balancing the class.

    Here is an interesting thought, what if you tied in an execute into burning embers? If it is up and the target is below 20% health have it tick for more damage. I dont think we need it to be an execute on par with something like radiant destruction seeing that it would be a sort of a passive execute. But an execute is something the class could desperately use and this seems like an interesting idea for one. Thoughts?

    In general, the changes do help most stam dks, though Dunmer do get screwed over. Overall though, I'm unhappy with the changes as nothing was done to address the more fundamental issues with the class.

    As far as the shortening of the obsidian shield, I don't think it will really make much of a difference. If anything it helps with the fracturing shield as it will explode quicker and more frequently. And it's not like the shield was ever really useful as a shield anyway. In PvP my igneous shield is only 4k for myself and 2k for others. Caltrops can easily eat through it. It's only used for the Major Mending.

    Magic DK is still work to play. The biggest hit -No Dragon Blood heal that works in pvp :neutral: and with the change to potent nirncrux you will be forced into a SnB or putting a boat load of CP into spell penetration to do some kind of relevant damage while trying to have some resistance you know bc we have no way to run from a fight and reset it. if you DW swords (you know bc we don't hit hard as it is and slotting two swords beefs you up some you will have to decide sharpened which is no way comparable to what potent nirn use to give you previously or defending which is just pathetic). My personal opinion so far on the PTS is we (mDKs) just got pushed a little backward from the forward progression we made from the TG patch.

    Will hop on tomorrow after work and mess around with it some more to hopefully find a set up that works better but so far with the proxy nerf, the nirn on weapons nerf and the increase in skill cost in this patch compared to last, it's not looking to good.

    If anyone finds something that works PLEASE post.

    I dont quite understand the fuss with dunmer Dk's. If someone could explain I'd be grateful;

    Cos the way I see it, If I was a dunmer DK with racial passive of a slight bonus to fire damage and some pts in elemental expert, all I'd have to do is put points to max out mighty and Id still be doing more DPS with the poison change cos 25% from mighty>6% from racial passive? Or am I missing something?

    Things like standard of might and flames of oblivion, weapon fire enchants and valkyns proc still get boosted by dunmer racials no? So all in all its a DPS increase to dunmer stam dks too?
