Favourite and Least Favourite Elder Scrolls Races and why.

Favourite: Khajiits, Altmers and Dunmers.

Least favourite: Nords. Also not a fan of orcs, mostly because of their social structure. On the other hand, I like that TES orcs are still not just primitive barbarians, unlike typical fantasy orcs.

Favorite: Nords
Reason: honorable warriors, treasure kinship and a good pint of mead

Least: Argonians
Reason: I find their hippy nature to be dumb, and having the voice of a life-time smoker doesn't help either. They're the Railroad of ESO (Fallout 4 faction)

Favorite: Either Altmer or Dunmer. The dark elves always were really cool to me, but khajiit slavery is really messed up. Altmer are cool, loved them in Skyrim and ESO, but they can be jerks. Khajiit are also among my favorites.

Least Favorite: Nords. Skyrim RUINED Nords for me. They used to be cool, with their own set of gods and interesting lore. Now they're just a dumber version of Imperials.

My favorite is altmer tall hot and stats kick ass. Runner up is bosmer them boobs are great but their severely lacking passives are a downer.

Dislike argonian and khajiit too many players choose them way too common also I heard the excuse I can't make a pretty or good looking human or elf so I just hit random a few times and accepted way to much... they kinda became the choice for players who have no creative ideas of their own so they pick the race that has basically nothing human In face features.

Most favorite: Altmer and Bosmer.
Altmer because I love elves (in general), although I hate their arrogant and racist behavior in eso, but because I always need to do something with magic, I end up choosing them almost all the time.
Bosmer, because I can relate to them (except the excessive meat eating xD) I am a tree huger, and I feel deeply connected to nature.

Least favorite: I will get soooooo much hate for this... but Argonians and Khajiit. Dont get me wrong I LOVE cats in real life, but I tried going multiple times in the character creator, and it all went ok until I have to deal with the khajiit boobies!!! It creeps me out, because its not a human and its not a cat ;___; for a male khajiit I could handle making a character, and I also love seeing them in game, Raz is one of my favorite characters but for some odd reason I cant deal with the boobies, and it creeps me out.

Well My favourite races, would be Dunmer, Nords and perhaps Bretons in no particular order, as for my least favourite races let me just say this one thing.....If you alliance has tails their gonna be the reason your alliance fails.

Oblivion was my first TES game, and when I started, I couldnt make a good looking elf (I guess everyone knows how awesome vanilla Oblivion character creator is), so I made a Khajiit. I wouldnt call it "not having creative ideas" though, unless you mean something like this.
Tbh, even in eso khajiit chars have more options than bretons for example.

well my favorite i'm not so sure about it i think i would tie khajiit and agronians both have a interesting culture which is quite different from eachother but both i'm drawn to them.
least favorite imperials for several reasons: they always tend to be the more generic human race so never stand out. racial passives in ESO DO NOT FIT THE LORE! paygate to play them. and i'm playing a fantasy game i will pick the non-human races almost anyday in a game when i have the option

I answered this a while back,but wanted to change it somewhat.
My fave:
Imperials and Bretons,for their passives and they are the best looking of the human races.

Least fave(I dont hate any):
Nords and Orcs.Nords are just plug ugly,and Orcs are way too short.

Morrowind actually had better looking faces for humans than did Oblivion.In OB they looked like Neanderthals. XD

Least favorite race is breton, that's only because they have the least lore or uniqueness to them.

But,Bretons are genuinely unique.
Bretons (originally termed Manmer by the Aldmer) are the human descendants who hail from the province of High Rock. According to the Third Pocket Guide to the Empire, they are descended from the Nedic and Aldmeri, while other sources claimed they were the mix of Atmoran and Aldmeri blood. The Altmer thought of making a new race with their own 'elder' or 'superior' blood, by mating with other races. The Bretons are sometimes called 'Manmeri' because of this.

I am swedish and nord does not have our accent, ours is much worse IRL. But I also dislike how they speak. Especally since some places in skyrim has swedish inspired names and I hate when people mix swedish into english or uses english pronounciation for swedish words, it sounds so wierd.

My favorite race is the Dwemer, for harnessing the mythopoetic forces and writing the most interesting books (though a lot of the Vivec books are fun).

My favorite playable race is still the Dunmer because their lore is the best and most complete of all the playable races. I'm sad that they don't have the cool voice they had in Morrowind though.

I guess it is more about what was in D&D and AD&D the alignments lawful vs. chaotic - Nord and imperials have a lawful attitude, while Khajiit and Argonian are chaotic in the meaning of taking the freedom to do as they please. This does not mean that they could not be loyal as well, but a chaotic person in this sense will not blindly follow a law or be loyal just because it would have to, but instead consider what is best for her/himself, even when it harms others - it is an opportunistic point of view.

No, Railroad has a different meaning than what you see in them. Railroad was in real life the underground organisation which helped slaves to escape from their owners and bring them to the northern states of the US (19th century of course). In Fallout 4 the railroad is basically a reference to this - and they do a similar thing, they help synth "slaves" to escape from their owners (the institute) and bring them to outside the commonwealth - so this has nothing to do with a hippy nature at all.

Least Favorite, Argonian because we still have THE most "unique" and worst racials because of that uniqueness.
