Favourite and Least Favourite Elder Scrolls Races and why.

My least favorite is dark elf and it's sad because my main is a dark elf. I had to go ep and thought that was my only option for a sourc. Reason I dislike is the looks and the culture as you mentioned. My favorites are kajitt and high elf. Kajitt is funny and look cool. My first charector was kajitt until my friend told me I have to go ep. I have a new high elf and they are my second favorite. Smart and powerful and cool as starting area from what I have seen. They remind me of the lord of the rings elves a bit. So I am playing a high elf sourc in ep alliance with the any race any alliance perk.

Havent played any other Elder Scrolls game aside from this one. My fav race thus far is Altmer. Like their look, the look of the cities, Aruidon, etc. Best looking and also good voice actors voice them. Least fav is argonian. Really hate their voices. They don't sound like lizards. Plus they're ugly.

Least favourate : All aboard the Argonian hate wagon. Their voices make me cringe, they are weak, I bet they stink, they use to be slaves ( confirming their inferiority and natural weakness ). Their armour style is ugly so many things wrong with them.

The only plus side is their character customization is cool. BUT I will reserve that for Skyrim and not waste a char slot with this waste of race. R.I.P. Likkewaan 2014-2016 ( Arg. Templar with 120 mount feeds ).

A close second to least favourate race in ESO is Nord because Shalidor's voice as well as the Nord female's voice.
( they aren't bad voice actors, but the accent/ way they chose to make the characters sound annoys me )

No, Railroad has a different meaning than what you see in them. Railroad was in real life the underground organisation which helped slaves to escape from their owners and bring them to the northern states of the US (19th century of course). They want to liberate robots that the institute make; they're dumb. And I know where their name is inspired from, but I'm not talking about the underground railroad. I'm talking about some dumb organization in fallout 4 that would "liberate" all vending machines if they could.

I've played Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and ESO, and it's the same set in each:

Favorite: Altmer, Dunmer, and Imperial. They know what they're doing and they look good doing it.

Least Favorite: Orc, Nord, and Breton. Stupid, ugly, and second-best at anything they do. At least the Nords can blame it on alcoholism. Happily, they won't have to live long like that.

Joke/role-play races: Khajiit, Argonian, Redguard, Bosmer. They're second-best but they have a personality. And even a lizard isn't as ugly as an Orc; there's no "lusty Orc maid" books, that's for sure.

My favourite race are the Dunmer. I love their dark ash-skinned look. Their biting sarcasm and general distrust makes me laugh, and I've enjoyed learning about them the most while questing. I've met Dunmer who have fallen, and learn't the hard way, the cost of hanging onto their proud and prejudiced beliefs. I don't know what it is about the Ashlanders, but I'm just drawn to them. Also, Naryu Virian is a favourite character - I love her quest lines, and her wonderfully snarky dialogue. I'm hoping she, and the Morag Tong, feature more in the upcoming Dark Brotherhood dlc.

My least favourite is harder to pick. The Argonians simultaneously make me laugh and creep me out, with the things they say, such as, 'May your scales stay moist', or 'I erect the spine of gratitude'. They seem slippery and slimey and I'm really not sure about their swamp magic, egg-hatching shennanigans. But then there's the Bosmer whom I like less and less the more I learn about them. Rude, haughty, self-righteous and cannibalistic.

I would rather see all races free to rule themself over having a human or elf emperor. Also milkdrinker is one of the best insults in Tes (behind Clawless/dullclaw). imo both nords and imperials are about equally bad. Nords are litle better due to Ulfric Stormcloack in skyrim

funny things i've read in this forum.
Hate agronians because they are "filty slaves" well i guess people have to read up the lore about how hard it is to conquer black march and how the elves rulled over men untill ysgramor freed men from elves. so the imperials own their sweet white gold tower to them. Talos which will bring peace in the future and ending the war is probably Nord ( he could be breton aswell lore isn't really specific on it can be both ways). so hating on nords because they are drunks is dumb cause they freed you guys. and because of this fight you see the conflict the Nords of the EP have with the elves (they don't want a adolosent elf sitting on the ruby throne) and the conflict after the white gold concord is there. it's all because the Nords won't let them be rules over by elves again
Imperials suppossed to be the weakest physical race btw. it's only because they are behind a paywall they are the strongest

My favorite is a tie between Khajiit and Redguards.
I love cats and I have a personal preference for darker skin tones.

I don't have any "least" favorite, but my tie for second place is Dark Elf and Argonian.
Dunmer because of their lore. Argonians because I would love to be one and swim around a lot (they can swim a lot easier/better than the rest of the races).

Yes but without a central government to control all of the nations, there will be constant war which happens pretty much that central authority falls (the empire). Take for example the Empire in ESO,it fell and now everyone is fighting each other.

I think Bosmer are simply adorable. I love the idea of a culture of tree-hugging elf hippies who are historically among the least aggressive, but will also literally eat your face. The voice actors for Eveli Sharp-Arrow and Deregor are among my favorites in the game.

Bretons are pretty cute as well, I love the subtle hints at their Nordic and Altmer roots. It's like meeting a cool younger sibling who sometimes acts like their older siblings. I also like how they came into power over High Rock not by military conquest, but by emulating their Altmer overlords and flourishing as a community.

I wanted to keep it to two favourites but I'd be remiss if I didn't add the Orsimer. I grew up a Hulk fan so a race of green people who smash things had an instant appeal to me. They were also my first significant impression of an Orc race and remain my favourite. They're an interesting mix of downtrodden yet fearsome and I've enjoyed seeing their culture, architecture and design philosophy evolve during the series.

I don't dislike the other races but I'll say that my least used are the Kahjiit and Argonians.
