Favourite and Least Favourite Elder Scrolls Races and why.

Favourite: definitely khajiit by a mile! Because cats. I love cats. Also, the khajiit are so nicely done in this game, with so many lovely fur patterns. Their cultural architecture is one of my favourites and they share my love of sweets!

Least favourite: bosmer. Small, annoying, Green Pact this and that. We will eat your wife if you don't do as we say. Keep off the grass. Don't pick that flower. Don't kick the trees. Won't eat their greens.

Favorite: Bosmer. I love their lore and their personalities. Many seem to to be very sweet. For instance, after feeding on someone in elden root with my vamp Bosmer, a guard always apologizes for having to take my bounty money."Stop, Villian! Can I call you villian? I'm sorry." Plus, imagine the treaty even if we Dont win... "We, the Bosmer, do hereby sign this treaty... For we are too full to eat another bite."

Least favorite: High Elves and Nords. High Elves are racist, elitist little a**holes. Nords are so stupid I've met cheese sharper than them. Plus that Nord wench won't sneak when I do in the Wailing Prison, and instead stumble into the middle of the enemy like an idiot. Not helpful to a Night blade like me.

My favorite has always been dark elf ever since I played Oblivion I fell in love with the hideous screams and faces but I see what's on the inside which is people hurt so much that they don't know how to love. Tear

My least favorite is Breton because they are really bland and have no personality. I feel out of all of the human races they are the least interesting.

Races?

I prefer Khajiit, because come on! A bipedal walking and talking cat that can sneak and steal?

Lest favorite was the high elf. Just don't like them.

As for games?

Favorite was Skyrim. Could and did mod the heck out of it, and the game mechanics were awesome.

Least favorite was Daggerfall. Just too much I couldn't figure out. I'm sure it was an immersive game for its day, and the world there is absolutely mammoth in comparison to follow-on games ... maybe someday I'll revisit it. Oh, and getting out of the starter dungeon alive wasn't easy either.

Kajiit because I played a Vah Shir (cat people) in EverQuest back from 2000 to 2003. I look at Realmreaver VahShyr as the same Realmreaver from ALLLLLLL the way back then but older. BTW why are their tails so LONG!!?? I don't like the tail length. Seems like they copied the argonian tail and just copy and paste and not change the tails length.

My favorites are Bosmer, I love their personalities in game and their general way of living (+ bows for the win). I was always curious about Valenwood while playing Skyrim, and it was even better then expected. I suppose the little guys have a special place in my heart. ^^

My least favorite.. maybe the Dark Elves because of the slave and sort of snobby cuture from time to time, but I could never hate all of them just like I don't hate High Elves because of the Thalmor. Captain Rana and Queen Ayrenn are awesome.

Favorite: Khajiit, I have always had a thing for beast races and the khajiit are a mix between my favorite animal (cat). I also love how they refer to themself in third person or by saying "this one". They are also very charismatic and funny most of the time. And they look pretty good compared to the other races (at least in skyrim, here the other races looks much better). I also love how khajiit can get high on normal moon suggar and almost everything else.

Least favorite: Dunmer, they are racist and thinks that no other race is even half as good as them, also they keeps enslaving other races (mostly argonians).

I also kind of dislike Imperials after skyrim when they tried to execute me for no reason altogh I can forgive them because I think the emperor or anyone else would agree with the comander

The other races I have no feelings for, neither negative nor possitive

Love: Dark elves, culture, lore, appearance, their stubbornness and Independence. I love all of those things, their province is awesome too.

Dislike: Khajiit, whilst I don't hate any race in the elder scrolls seiries, I don't particularly like the Khajiit for some reason.
Probably because of a certain theives guild quest giver in Oblivion that halted my progress for a while after I accidentally killed a guard I was unable to avoid. I also hated their facial animations in that game, so my opinion of Khajiit kinda stuck around from then.

1. Dark elves (See above)
2. Orcs (Orsinium put them here)
3. Imperials (Always loved this race)
4. Bretons (Love the Daggerfall Covenant, especially love rivenspire)
5. Redguards (Lower than Breton due to irrational fear of hurting the undead, but still pretty cool)
6. Bosmer (Mostly low because of the green pact, otherwise they'd be number 4)
7. Altmer (I wanted to like them....but they're so boring)
8. Nords (Some nords make me want to hit them)
9. Argonians (I hate shadowfen and quite a few argonain NPC's irk me, though not all)
10. Khajiit (See above)

When I look back at which races I played the most/the least in TES games it would be:

favorites: Khajiit, Breton, Argonian - with Khajiit most favored
Least: Dunmer, Nord, Imperials - with Dunmer least favored

But I have to say with it, that I chose Breton in former TES games mainly for their magic resistance and the combination with the Atronach birthsign, which provides them with partial immunity to spells casted on them, because most are either resisted or absorbed - and in the later game magic users are legion, so Bretons become god-like characters with Atronach birthsign.

My real love belongs to the beast races, Khajiit and Argonians - they did not have it easy in life and especially not with the Mer and their elitist (and racist) attitude. But they are smart and wise in a very down to earth way, they tend to be opportunistic, what can be seen as a good or a bad trait, I see it as a reasonable down to earth one and consider it as "clever".

They have no relation to the concepts of possession though, they borrow things for as long as they need them and share them with others (like fences

) and this is seen as a crime - Khajiit and Argonians have no feeling for the concept of possession, for them this is no crime. If stuff is lying around and no one is using it, that is weird for a Khajiit, stuff has to be used and so they give this unused stuff a new purpose.

Khajiit philosphy is like "this one does not know what is so impressive with owning. This one is happy to take and use stuff, but lets others care for it". And this is actually very wise seen from an opportunistic point of view. I love the Khajiit.

Favorite Race in Elder Scrolls is most definitely Redguards the strongest Warriors in Tamerial and imo some of the best lore.

Least Favorite:Nords imo their boring and overhyped by Skyrim fanboys.Plus their all Milk Drinkers who couldn't even defeat the High Elves by themselves.You know who did the RedGuards

Favorite: Breton
Reason: In previous games their insane magick resists and bonuses to magick have been the corner stone of my builds.

Least favorite: Khajit.
Reason: To many Real life parallels with this races drug issues and real life. also... Toxoplasmosis. The idea of things taking over the brain and modifying the way one thinks and interacts is a infringement upon freedom of will and something targeting and changing things in my brain in real time freaks me out.

Least favourite: I think I'm going to have to say Orc here, mostly because their stronghold structure annoys me. I also find Bretons and Nords to be kind of boring admittedly.

Favourite: Imperials, because they look damn awesome.

Least favourite: Argonians. Because oh my *** God that hippy culture, I do my best to skip through the shadow fend whenever I get there and skip through the Argonian story lines because if I have to hear about the *** hist and the peace-love "perfection" culture of the native tribes that they obviously represent one more time I'm going to just start murdering every Argonian citizen I come across. I'll even make an AD character to kill Argonians in other factions, just because screw them.
