I did some Craglorn delves with random PUG's last night.
Am VR14 and hardly touched Craglorn, as I'm always usually one who hates speaking up in zone chat and asking for groups.
And have to say, these guys were an awesome group. Did not wipe once. Very friendly. A lot of fun was had.

Oh btw hello all my NEW guildmates
A quick question regarding the XP/CP pots(and yes I actually logged in today)......
When you are Enlightened do the pots add 50% to the gains achieved then, or is it 50% to base gains only?
and a cute pup......

NP... I have lots of enlightenment saved up myself. I am just going to be doing normal play for now until they raise XP in Craglorn and what not and then I will find a darn good grind spot and go to town, or until a find a decent grind spot in VR where I can also grind out fishing baits with out too much competition.

Don't know much about fish or fishing BUT Dreugh drop fish as loot and there are several good grind spots for them........
@MissBizz are they the right type of fish for getting Perfect Roe?

Yeah but those fish are already filleted so are useless. You actually have to spend the time to really fish in the game to get the roe and it has a really low drop rate. I filleted 300 fish yesterday and got nothing.
Basically I am finding the whole "XP potion" thing is a huge time sink into the game. Time spent fishing, Time spent gathering mats to go fishing to try to get one roe. I totaled my time spent to do these things in game and found right now, my time is better spent just playing the game normally.

Ok I just logged in to check......
When did they change this?
Last time I was grinding Dreugh(admittedly over a couple of months ago) they were dropping whole named fish not just the provisioning mat.....
It was annoying me because they kept filling up my inventory space....
Obviously ZOS were ahead of me with this one

Months ago. I have never received a whole named fish from a Dreugh and I have been dealing with them for over six months now on different characters. I would be farming them like crazy if they did.
I was at Vivec's Antlers just a couple of days ago. I briefly got excited about the dreugh because I remembered getting fish from them before. I killed a few and one dropped a fish that was already a provisioning ingredient (ie. already filleted), so I instantly lost interest and just went about doing my questing as normal. In the end, though I got about 15-20 already-filleted fish from dreugh, and 1 longfin that I could fillet myself. I thought that was pretty strange...freespirit wrote: »freespirit wrote: »freespirit wrote: »freespirit wrote: »Question.......

It was at Vivecs Antlers in Stonefalls and I'm certain I was not imagining it......
I'm DC it was not long after CP's were introduced, it's my VR6 area and I was there whilst I was enlightened with my VR14......
One of the reasons I remember it so well was the abuse I got for being in an area that other players thought I should not be because I was too high level....
I was actually destroying the fish because they were of no use to me..........
It was not massive amounts but they were dropping.
Honest.

I doubt that's true, it's just people trying to derive patters from randomness.MaximusDargus wrote: »I recently heard that if you kill all enemies in dolmen up to the point they stop spawning and then destroy 4 pinions one after another there is a higher chance for a boss.

If you're hunting for a specific general you're much better off doing it in your home alliance's zones, because pre-vet levels there's a specific zone (but not a specific dolmen - any general for the zone has an equal chance at spawning at any dolmen, so your best bet is to rotate from dolmen to dolmen in the hopes that you'll get to do the dolmens in sequence and minimize the time while you wait for dolmens to spawn) in which each general spawns. In your Cadwell's Silver and Gold zones (and Cyrodiil) any general can spawn at any dolmen. So anywhere other than your home alliance's zones you have the same chance of encountering a general, but if you're looking for one specific general you have a much lower chance of encountering that particular one than if you were in the appropriate zone of your home alliance.Spectral_Lord wrote: »Thanks, I didn't know that. fwiw, the ever-open eye also appears in shadowfen and greenshade.
keep at it; you'll get him.
The devs have said it's a myth. I've got the achievement for killing all of the generals, and I personally never noticed a difference in the likelihood of a general when pinions were closed early (which happened almost every time there were other people at the dolmen as well as me) compared to waiting until all enemies were dead (which happened every time I was the only one doing the dolmen, only because I was too busy fighting everyone to grab a pinion any earlier).MaximusDargus wrote: »I recently heard that if you kill all enemies in dolmen up to the point they stop spawning and then destroy 4 pinions one after another there is a higher chance for a boss.

I see a lot of complaints about Champion Points from people who want 400 plus champion points, but don't want to put any effort in to get them.
When did this happen?
It's unfortunate, that. It ruins the enjoyment of a low-level player at a dolmen if a Vet comes in and facerolls it just looking for the general because of its spawn chance. They should make spawn chance in the Vet zones the same as in the pre-Vet zones, apart from the first zones. Since Zone 1 has no generals, Vet Zones 1 and 6 could stay with the chance of any general. This would mean that if it spawns in your pre-Vet Rivenspire, it should spawn in your Vet Greenshade or Shadowfen with the same chance, or in your Vet Auridon or Stonefalls (or Cyrodiil) with a lower chance. Really? You got the achievement just for killing one of the mobs even though you were too late to actually fight the general? Agree with that. It probably took me longer to get that cheeve as I did it all in Vet zones so as not to interfere with the lowbies.

That makes you quite the Gandalf, eeh?
Well, it would be if I was actually getting any XP for those dolmens, but I wasn't. I was only in it to get the generals achievement and the dye that goes with it.
