I DON'T want to see other players in instanced dungeons, caves, houses or rooms while questing!

I'd rather do things on my own because others running around cheapens the experience of doing it myself especially doing quests such as surviving a ambushing at the Arena in Reapers March and upon 1/2 HP of the final mob out of 3 some (EXPLETIVE) "jumps in" and kills it and gets credit for the ambush. I think more mobs should of spawned and linked to that player. In a public dungeon I don't really help others kill packs of mobs because 1 I'm either so high level I wont get any drops or 2 let them kill the packs themselves so I don't steal kill or ruin their experience. If I can stealth by then I skip a lot and let others do the killing.

    TL;DR

GO PLAY A SINGLE PLAYER GAME ?!?!?!

I'm kind of on the fence about this myself. On the one hand, I do agree that having a ton of people swarming over a dungeon kills the immersion. Creating instances could fix that. On the other hand, it is an MMO. By definition, there are going to be other people doing the same thing you are.

One of the things other people have pointed out is that making the option available to just solo will probably kill the community and I think they're right. If this is just a solo game, why am I paying a subscription to play every month? I can just go play a single player game and pay once (or for when DLC comes out). Having the community, with the ability to team up occasionally,or trade, or simply chat once in awhile gives it the added incentive to pay the subscription.

There are a few things they do need to fix, in my opinion. For instance, I think resource nodes should be available to everyone when they spawn, like they are in GW2. It's really annoying to see a node, run up to it, fight off a mob, only to have the node taken by another player in the middle of a fight. To me, that's unfair. You're putting in the effort, you should get the reward. My understanding is that the barrels and dressers you come across are already like this, so there's no reason they can't do this for ores and plants as well.

As for the rest, I think like others have said, once the initial novelty of the game wears off, there will be fewer people in the lower level dungeons, thereby making it more challenging for soloists or small groups. Until then, we're just going to have to accept that this is an MMO, and that other players have the same right to be in a dungeon as we do.

This is amusing. This thread is currently divided into two groups. The people who say " LEL GO PLAY SKYRIM" or " LEL U DONT LIKE 2 PLAY WITH PEOPLE MMO IS NOT 4 U" And those who actually read the thread and came up with their own original suggestions and ideas. They took the time to actually formulate what they think about this. Why couldn't you? I just can't take a post like " Go play skyrim" seriously at all. It's such a shame half this thread is filled by them.

If that's what you are going to post, then don't bother posting at all.

Adding solo features like playing in your own dungeon by yourself in a massive multiplayer online game is likely not a priority change and that's a good thing. Your personal preferences can be altered in many ways through addons and interface and settings. This particular feature is one youll have to chew on if you want to play this game.

I understand the posters point of view. I group with a friend a lot and it is very strange because we both have to talk to the same NPC, open the same chest, follow and protect an NPC which we each have our very own version of. Why isn't group play coordinated?

Then we enter an area and wham there are many many other players trying to do the exact same thing. Sure ruins immersion for me. Its like they couldn't make up their minds if they wanted to make a single player game or a mufti-player game and just did both at the same time.

Don't get me wrong I am enjoying the game but the group play and single player aspects need to be cleaned up a lot.

Lot less players these days and this problem still exists..

I for one, do not want to go in these places with gazillion other random people.

What i want to do, is either choose these characters that adventure with me or if they are offline, go alone as 10 templars all spamming puncturing strikes is not very immersive in forgotten ruin what has been lost for hundreds of years..

I think this was one of the issues that put some people off from the game, while i do understand that others want to go fast and furious, no matter who they tag along with, i would also wish that they understand that there are those amongst us, who do not like that and would like to have an OPTION for that.

Choose between your group, alone or the current system.

Actually I like other players hanging around in dungeons more than being alone. Having people around me killing mobs, although we are not in the same group an no interacting each others .... oh well that make me kinda sad

So you want a solo player option on a MMO.....

4 man instances are private, but I believe the reason the rest is that way is to stop insane farming.

If they gave an option for any instance to be a 'private spawn' expect there to be little to no loot.

Also, I thought all Craglorn instances were private, so you do have that, but you have to wait to V1+

More options are a good thing. I hope one day Zos can offer you those options.

But should they be working on it right now instead of fixing more pressing issues? Not at the moment or in the next 6 months.

    Er, Craglorn in VR10.

Also, solo delves are clearly labeled SOLO on the loading screen so ... how about they implement it like that?

The 'G' in MMORPG doesn't stand for group.

One can 'play' and 'interact' with other players without being forced to 'group-up' with them at all, you know.

You should stop repeating like a parrot what other people say in this forum and think for a couple of seconds about what you're saying: Having people around you in dungeons is not being grouped with them, more over the MM does stand for MASSIVELY, MULTIPLAYER

If you want to play alone, play a solo game instead of trying to make a multiplayer game more like a solo game just because you prolly aren't patient enough to wait for the next TES solo game.
