I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, or this is the right thread, but pushing out untested "fixes" is getting ridiculous. How lame is it that you have to be almost on top of a barrel/bag/chest now to loot it? There is no way that the people testing patches before they go live actually loot these things, if they did they would've realized how annoying this is now.
I guess it's more realistic, but now there are items that are out of reach no matter what. Why have those items be lootable, if you physically can't loot them?

Actually, considering that he has worked through all the classes and been actively involved since early beta...I think he does know better. Of course he also has real good acquaintance with the different weapon and guild skills.

-there is a letter of proof on a crate,but instead that letter is floating inside the crate.You can sometimes loot the crate when relogging but interaction with the letter floating inside the crate seems impossible.
I think its part of a questline too so it blocks progress(also reported ingame)

Yep. Game crashed yesterday. After crash haven't been able to login. I just get "Login Timeout". Have repaired and reinstalled twice to no avail.

My wife is having repeated crashes since the patch. She is working closely W/support to determine the cause(s) of the problem. Odd, since she has the same vid card as I do, and the same driver ver, and I haven't had crashes. She has Bloomfield (i7-960) and I have SB-E (i7-3930K), same amt RAM; very similar platforms exc I have newer generation.

And, we both have lost our achievements for Auridon & Grahtwood quests, they now say 0/3x!


Also I have been having LOTS of error 318's ("A message rate limit was hit") during or shortly after using bash/interrupt during combat, mostly W/my new DragonKnight char - he uses bash and my other chars don't. It has also happened to her a few times. This has nothing to do with the last patch. She complained to tech support and they said something like 'odd, that is only for chat spamming.' And they are quite interested in what is happening there, since it happens to us when we are not doing anything in the chat window. Prob there is a bug in the comms interface, that only manifests itself when the Internet lag is just so, like our satellite Internet connection. I hypothesis that if they do find a bug as a result of this investigation, it may improve game performance for others as well (hopefully). Just before the 318, combat and E-prompts quit, I just keep getting wailed on by the monster and can't fight back although I can still move around.

I really hope your working on the memory leak! That should be priority number 1. That should never have passed your QA.

Great a hotfix for the a portion of the people that can get into the game. What about the people that can't even patch? You know the people that are getting ready to cancel their account because they can't even get into the game on the long weekend?

well not being able to log in seems like a big issue as well but the question is why cant you log in and what are the numbers of folks that cant log in? If there is a minority is there a constant in the equation? If most of the players can log in it would seem the issue is global and there is an issue with your comp and your account, although I agree it needs to be addressed it is most likely a case by case basis while the memory leak is more likely a global issue.

there are about 8 or 9 threads full of people who cant get in currently..not an error on the users side, the accounts cant even be logged in from other pc's at other IP's we get stuck in a loop of login timed out and 301's..seems most have this problem after there game crashes from the memory leak/other.
looks like there server is keeping the accounts in limbo and keeping us from being able to sign in thinking we are already online or something.

One thing I've noticed is that the people in Stonefalls seem to be reporting the most crashes with time loss.

I may be in the minority but I'm sure it isn't my hardware. I was logged in and playing until 2:30a this morning (GREAT kickoff to the weekend yesterday--13 hrs in Tamriel!), woke up a couple of hours ago and tried to log back in only to hit the timeout wall. Tried the ProgramData folder workaround with no love. Have a call request in to ZOS; sure hope they get this resolved soon...

Ill be so glad when they fix the issues I can only play for 10-20 minutes before I must alt esc and reboot the game gets so laggy and I cant even delete items in my bag and can barely move.

cyrodiil is broken: lag and freezing when joining groups, 'unknown error' and so on to the point where it's too frustrating to bother.

Also, caltrop bug: fix ASAP. It really is stupid.

EDIT: the infinite loading screen is back too, as of this post.

check the devs update. They have the fixes and testing them. Jessica just posted that they plan to roll it out tonight.

They said the same *** yesterday as well when it was first reported to them. Over 48 hours now of not being able to even log into the game.

Please show me where any DEV posted yesterday that: They found the problem, HAVE the solution, testing it now and plan to roll it out?

I missed that completely.

What I did see was DEVS stating the located the bug and working on fix. Nothing else.

Please prove me wrong. I dont like to state things that isnt true!
