I laughed so hard when i read the "Some of you" have reported latency. its not some, its EVERYBODY, just not all that bother reporting something you guys should know all ready, and know how to fix. Move the damn servers.

Please add "The weight of three crowns" to your list of quests that need to be fixed! NPCs not spawning, therefor the quest can't be completed, and it blocks progression (Can't get into cold harbour)

NA server so laggy over the last week I can't play effectively during the evenings. Generally after a long lag I get booted, have to relog into the game only to find my corpse several minutes back from where I assumed I was moving to before the lag.

Please try to find a solution to this massive lag as soon as possible.

Editing to say. I have had an opportunity to play this morning, and the lag is just as bad now as it is at night. It is really quite frustrating, but I know you are working on it.

Clearly noone is addresing any issue regarding gameplay. i have been stuck in ebonheart pact quest the weight of 3 crowns for over a week and cannot progress to coldharbour, i have sent 3 tickets and no responce whatsoever and i am stuck at lvl 45 with the only option for me ingame to pvp or change character.

also the quest at trollheta summit to kill the giant bugged for 1 week cannot finish rift quests.

Seems like developers are in over their head with this game or got their 70 euros from us and dont give a *** afterwards what we write or post.

ZOS_CarolusS closed the existing threat and directed us here to discuss it. So here goes:

We feel that reporting Bots is pointless because no one does anything about it and days later those same bots are still there. You say it is working progress to catch them automatically. well that is obviously a failure as we get more and more of them so act on the reports and while you are at it give us a way to add a screen shot without trying to do it at the time of the report because the report screen shot mechanism sucks....

They added "proper" fullscreen with the patch. In the settings, change the display mode to 'Window (Full Screen)' to get back to the previous behaviour.

I have the same issue. A quick poll of guildmates on-line at the time indicated that they all see the same thing. Zero completed quests in all previous areas. Only showing a total for the current area.

not true ive seen 1 gm spam one system message he said he would be on for 20 mins ... kicking bots

how effectively can u kick bots in 20 mins ...

i will add it was only once in my /played 27 days

can u see the sarcasm here me i dont report the system for report is *** stupid much rather "F" report player

and move on not spend 5 mins doing the csrs job

ive send 100s upon 1000s of bots i aint spending 5 mins reporting that ***

give us effective tools

or do the jobs your being paid to do

I was able to play a short time this morning before I was kicked and plagued with the same unending sequence of login timeouts and error 301s. I restarted my computer, ensured application permissions in Norton 360, and even ran eso.exe as administrator, as suggested, but I am still unable to log in.

I, too, was able to play all morning and here just about 30 minutes ago...then I could transitus, had to c/a/d to desktop and boom...can't log in..both 301 or timeout...wth????

There are a couple of threads about Cyrodiil bugs. Might be better in Customer Service area. Noticed last night a couple of Mercenary Mages who could not be targeted, but they seem to target one player and don't go away til that player is dead. Known issue being worked on?

Yeah, a lot getting the eternal loading screen. Hubby could not get out of cyrodiil and now is stuck at trying to load into Deshaan......:(

What makes you think that add-ons are to blame? Some game systems implement detection of third-party external cheating software; that seems like a more reasonable path to research.

I heard the following, it sounds possible but might be just a troll

"To save costs, some of the servers on the mega server have been released (no longer rented) but that means if some areas get full, another shard can not be spawned and it looks like you where trying to travel to a full shard and a new shard could not be spawned so you get kicked 'back' but the client can't handle this and you get a Unknown Error/infinite screen.

On the other side, you could load there and the shard crash when it tries to force a new user into a zone which is can not handle it and it is causing rollbacks for everyone in the zone."

LOL! The irony is that during beta I had ZERO login/connectivity issues. Since launch, I've often had difficulty securing a connection, getting kicked 5+ times before at last staying connected. It's a nuisance, but it's tolerable, since I at least get to play! But lo, not no mo!

Another day of the dreaded 301. Not one mention of it in the OP. However, we get this:

"Remember, the issues we're listing out in this thread doesn't include everything that we're working on, just some of the more prevalent issues. Thanks for your continued patience!"

I would think one of the more prevalent issues is that players cannot login. Silly me.

Update: Shortly after my last post (about an hour:30 ago), I logged in to the account services website and accepted the "updated" ToS (dated to January, as others have mentioned). I cannot say for certain if this helped, but about 30-45 min after accepting it and a seemingly endless cycle of timing out > error 301s, my character screen FINALLY loaded. I was kicked, got a couple more time outs and error 301s, but was ultimately able to secure a connection. I've been in-game less than 20 min, but this one will keep his fingers crossed for the lot of us.
