Restoring Missing Bank Slots/Items & Skill Points

    Still waiting for an answer from CS. Glad to hear some people are getting it sorted out. Did you guys submit new tickets or reply to the old ones?

    If you were missing bank slots specifically, you should expect to receive gold to re-purchase your slots, and not the actual slots themselves.

    Here's my problem: Did our bank slot upgrade costs reset with our slots? I don't remember if the first 10 slots should cost 1000 gold or not. I know the first 10 backpack slots cost 400 gold.

    If they cost 1000 gold then all is good and we only need reimbursement for what we paid before the bug. If it's less than 1000 gold and that 1000 gold cost is actually for the next 10 slots, there's a problem.

    I have found resolution. Enough money to replace my bank slots + 12k extra gold for my item loss (nothing rare). Thank you ZOS.

    I just got an in game mail from a blank sender.
    It said something about we are sorry about your lost items, we want to help restore such and such but you are currently online. We will remove you from the game briefly. I had to paraphrase because, I got booted from the game.

    Note to CS at first I was worried it was a scam when it came from an unknown sender, so rushed to post in case I was hacked.

    7:55 EST Got an in game mail and was kicked from the server.

    8:00 EST Tried to login, and did so successfully. When I tried to select my character it said it was locked. I am able to log onto my bank alts.

    8:12 EST Email explaining that i was given gold to save time yadayada

    8:53 EST Character still locked. Starting to worry. Did they forget to unlock me when they were done?

    I just got my gold. My recompense was in response to a reply to a ticket left open as reply required prior to the patch.

    The amount given was very fair, and aligns pretty much exactly with what I figure fair value for upgrades + lost crafting mats + lost time would be.

    I am satisfied that my problem was resolved adequately (even if it was a little slower than my ideal world), and will be renewing my subscription.

    well I just got the quick boot from game and refunded around 56k gold... not sure if that's all as I thought I had around 70-78 at time of hack and had paid for 4 bank upgrades on top of that so they have probably short changed me a bit.. however they have the database info so maybe I am wrong..
    In the end happier that I have had some progress and it very slightly sweetens that bitter taste I have still in relation to this whole customer support and game issue fiasco.

    Thanks for the refund... I may now actually resubscribe. MAYBE will see how stable the game is for next 12 day I have free.

    OH for info my original ticket was raised on 14th april in case their doing these refunds in some form of date order so you guys can guesstimate the possible time till yours arrive

    I don't think they are doing them in order. I reported my ticket on 4/8 and I have not received compensation yet. Unless they skipped me. =/

    I don't believe they're going in order either; I submitted on 5 April and haven't received comp.

    Restored at 8 PM Eastern time, got booted from the game so they could add gold to my account. Compensated me more than adequately, so if you're waiting, be patient, they really are fixing us as quickly as they can. This post isn't to brag, just to give hope!

    Now I must be fair. I got my gold, plenty for the specific loss and trouble in my estimation.

    I have to give them credit for that. The CS process, on the other hand, was anything but smooth. Perhaps that will improve - in any event I will continue my subscription for now, and I hope that some things that I am looking for will be developed for the game in some reasonable time-frame (well, player housing is one).

    For those still waiting - hang in there. They seem to have read my email, even if there was no response. Maybe send a gentle reminder if it drags on into tomorrow?

    I bought my first bank upgrade 3 days after I started (during early access), and it was 1000g. The second was 3300g. I was NOT affected by the bank bug at all, so your prices are right.

    Well. I sent in a ticket asking about the status of my bank bug. Within 10 minutes I had not only a fair refund amount of gold to replace my losses but another large amount as an apology. Plus a personalized email. Not happy about the overall process but they did make me more than whole.

    I finally got a response to my request for just a single day of game time to check out the fix and compensation. I figured that was the least they could do since I lost game time during early access due to this bug.

    Denied.

    I'll take that as nobody will be getting any game time due to lost time during the bug.

    Rep just fixed the problem. So if you stay locked for more than 20 minutes i suggest replying back to the email to say you are still locked.

    I think what some want to know is will ZOS officially allow players to keep the extra items as part of the compensation for the frustration, lost time, lost items and gold, etc. since they endured weeks, some up to 3 weeks, of this bug? Or will ZOS potentially ban/suspend accounts for having the extra items?

    Given the recent ban mistakes ZOS made in their recent sweep, I think that's a question that requires a ZOS response.

    Finally resolved for me, got a substantial amount of gold. Which Iam pleased with. Thankyou :)
    I will just delete the extra explorer and imperial stuff I left in the mail, since you are not meant to have more than 1 per account. Others who want to keep them, I wouldn't risk it.

    I have submitted 5 tickets so far on this issue, and so far I have gotten one stinking canned response saying my issue would be considered resolved if I did not respond. I did respond, still no contact. Then you send me 4 requests to "rate my service".

    It is impossible to rate a service when none has been rendered, as far as I can tell the request for help message go directly into the bit bucket. They sure has heck are not being responded to by actual humans. Here is a partial listing of the tickets I have submitted so far. I have done 5 tickets over the period of a week.

    I was only able to capture these by writing them down on the sumbittal screen. I am not getting acknowledgement emails for the tickets at all.

    I did one tonight too, but I accidentally changed the screen before I wrote it down. I submitted four via the in game request system, and one via this website.

    I am 100% thoroughly disappointed in the total lack of communication provided.
