    1. Position desync because of high movement speed (you increased melee already, but forgot about aoes)
    2. S&B ultimate doesn't reflect when you bar swap too fast
    3. Merciless permaglow and stacks are kept

    Top Pain Points
    1. Stacking of infinite HoTs, just stop it
    2. Unused abilities never getting touched for multiple years (ex.: Consuming Darkness, Stone Fist, Frozen Gate, Healing Ritual, ...)
    3. 'Recently' changed abilities that have become useless but don't get addressed for months/years (ex.: Rune Prison, Jabs, Arctic Blast, GLS, Flurry, ...)
    4. 80% of sets are complete trash, half of which can be made useful if they were just slightly tweaked (into a 3 or 4pc, cooldown reduced, uptime increased, bigger radius, different proc source, one-bar-able, ...)
    5. All DLC classes lacking at least 1 crucial feature (a good spammable, burst mechanic, key major buffs, pressure, ...)

Can you also please keep track of stuff you change and revert when necessary?
Example: BRP resto is overperforming > you nerf duration, OK > you nerf Major Vitality, alright > you nerf Healing Ward, sure > leave as is, nothing gets reverted > set remains unused, what?

    • Pain Point 4: Unfinished Hybridization
    • Pain Point 5: Races need a rework! CP currently gives you too much resource sustain, and this has taken away the purpose of some races like Bosmer and Redguard

May I suggest people add where they play, such as PC EU or PS NA as many of the pain points or bugs described above I don’t see on console.

    Pain points (PSEU):

    1) Ball groups in Cyro that just utterly suck all the fun out of pvp. Tedious & dull. Even more than stuck in combat, they make me want to throw my controller at the screen.

    2) Furnishing plans - searchable please.

    3) Motifs & plans at guild merchants to be able to toggle to unknown. And better visual representation on consoles - they are really teeny tiny.

    4) Unlimited transmutes. Or ability sell them.

    5) will come back & edit when think of one!

The other thing that really bugs me (related to stuck in combat bug) is that running uses up stam which is also needed to fight. But nothing affects mag the same way. Why not just let people run everywhere? Why the need to stop that?

    Bugs:
    1) Light sources are visible through solid objects on PS5 (most obvious with wayshrines everywhere and treasure chests in Imperial City)
    2) UI becomes unresponsive when returning to overland after queued activities (seems to be related to the ready check behaving oddly before the activity)
    3) Golden Pursuits completion notifications don't clear properly
    4) Stuck in combat
    5) Skill timers clear when receiving buffs from other players (this happens with other skills too, but the one I notice most is the timer for Power Surge clearing when I get major sorcery from a DK casting Molten Weapons).

    Pain Points:
    1) Just implement a global auction house already (economy is so fragmented that nobody outside of a large trading guild with expensive monthly dues can reliably sell anything, and it's impossible to efficiently price compare when buying)
    2) Balance process is too slow. Major balance problems are often only resolved 1-2 years after they are created. This should be 1-2 months.
    3) Passive ability balance. A full rebalance of passives was promised years ago and either never happened or only changed 2 or 3 abilities.
    4) Too many outdated or otherwise bad/useless sets
    5) Not enough inventory space (mostly driven by the wide variety of collectibles and non-stackable items like writs and transmute geodes)

    Pain points:

    1. Map detail (especially on console). As mentioned in a recent thread about Malabal Tor, the maps do not denote impassable cliff walls clearly enough, while the zoom level is insufficient to make out some of the details anyway. Increased map resolution AND clearly marking of cliffs would make navigating to objectives *much* easier, especially for new players.
    2. Crafting UI is too cluttered with all the added traits and styles, and then there's the endless furnishing recipes... At a minimum, a text search function would be great. Also add a way to 'favourite' certain items and add "Favourites" to the filter options (especially for potions and consumables).
    3. Visual FX on the newer spells, outfits, and pets are way too bright. EG Arcanist's beam obscures targets completely for other players. Please tone down the saturation/opacity, and/or give us a slider to do so.
    4. Please give us the ability to TURN OFF spurious character/emote sound effects. Wonky trumpets, badly played lutes, and multiple musical boxes all playing simultaneously around a city waypoint completely ruin immersion and are nails-on-chalkboard hard on the ears.

    1. STUCK IN COMBAT!! (Yes, I've read instructions, but this was the very first thing that made me angry right when I started playing 6 years ago and up to this day its enraging me multiple times during literally every guild event I lead, so it needs to be on this list)
    2. Bosses that keep resetting (a bug caused by pets, people say) or not spawning at all (happens with many world bosses)
    3. Survey nodes have been plagued with a bug for quite a while now where you sometimes need to interact with them multiple times from different angles for your character to actually collect them! Also respawn distance (if you do duplicates) is inconsistent and way too far with most surveys.
    4. Dyes being extremely inconsistent on different styles/costumes, sometimes even on the same style/costume. Try dying the antiquarian robe with void pitch for example. Some costumes hardly change their color at all, notably "Holiday in Balmora" and "Buoyant Gentility Ensemble". Also leather looks horrible when you try to make it brighter than default.
    5. Targeting corpses! Meaning both dead party members that sometimes can't be targeted and therefore can't be ressed and dead enemies that aren't lootable because "the target is too far away" (or no prompt at all)

    Top Pain Points

    1. Not being able to teleport or mount in combat!! We used to at least be able to use wayshrines while in combat, divines know why you decided to increase our frustration even more by taking that away from us, but pls give it back! And let us mount, for oblivions sake. It makes no sense why anyone would not be able to mount a horse just because some angry, suicidal bandits are running behind them, let alone because they are running behind a party member on the other side of the map! That being said, stop putting us in combat just because a party member ran a bit too close to an enemy in the first place!
    2. Ball Groups and Troll Tanks in Cyrodiil/PvP!! My Cyrodiil group seriously started considering just forming a ball group ourselves because every time we are there it gets ridiculous with enemy ball groups running circles inside our (already closed off) keeps, just farming people, or nuking any siege attempt that isn't done by half of our campaign population! Also no idea why anyone would consider it fun to flip ressources in unkillable builds and run circles in the towers whenever someone comes to flip the ressources back and kill them but it is, in fact, not fun for anyone (but them I guess).
    3. Inventory! Non-stackable glyphs, non-stackable treasure maps, furniture (Pls give us furniture storage! Like the craft bag for eso+ if you have to but everyone I know including myself abuses houses as furniture dumps and we have multiple full ones!), way too many kinds of materials (Get rid of the ridiculous amount of worthless runes, CP0-150, style and trait mats pls) and worthless junk items. Pls finally delete the worthless event items like juggler knives that we even have to manually delete because they are unsellable even to NPCs from the game too!! Semi-related, but transmute and event ticket limit is too low as well!
    4. Interfaces! Housing UI, styles, collections, outfit station, antiquity leads, recipe lists in crafting stations, you name it, all these interfaces are nothing but a pain to navigate through. Collections and Styles need, at the very least, an option to mark some as favourites or hide all the ugly stuff we got for free and will never use. They also all need way better/bigger thumbnails! Not only but especially the body markings are impossible to identify from the thumbnails. Antiquity leads need an overview over all the ones we currently have, their time left and in which zone they can be done! Locked dyes need a preview option! If I filter for a motif name on the outfit station, why is that filter also active when I switch back to dyes?? Furniture categories are a mess, for some things I need to click through 3-4 categories to check in which you decided to sort them into and, the worst part about it, they are different from the furniture limit categories! No more space for special collectibles and wanna get rid of one? Rough luck, go and click through every item in every category to check the tooltip if it is a special collectible or not! That being said, pls get rid of these limits in the first place! If consoles can't take it then leave it on console servers, they are seperate anyway, but why do we have to deal with this on PC and why can't we have the same amount of storage boxes and NPCs in smaller houses as in bigger ones?? Let people stack their boxes or have NPC cuddle meetings in inn rooms if they want to.
    5. Previously opened chests and material nodes not despawning! If the original finder doesn't need the junk in there, no one else does neither! That stuff needs to despawn after x minutes (x preferably being a number between 1 and 3). Obviously don't do that for group chests in dungeons and trials though.
    6. Companions: They either need to be able to move out of AOEs or be immune to damage from them. They should not be able to reset a boss! And having them on alts without grinding through the quests would be great.
    7. Accidentally interacting with companions or collecting insects when trying to interact with something else needs a solution.
    8. Skill Effects and ambient dialogues need an option to be turned off

Also: Everything we use addons for. An MMORPG not having a minimap is a total No-Go for example, its just not on this list because the very first thing I did after starting the game was getting an addon for it. So I have one, therefore not a pain point anymore. But a game shouldn't have to rely on addons in the first place, especially not in the insane extent we have here (If I disable everything that's not absolutely necessary to make this game playable for me I still have more than 20, not counting Libs). Other PC players will likely also not mention pain points they solved for themselves with addons but that doesn't mean they aren't there or that they are less important. Check the list in minion, the download numbers are right there, and pls finally implement the stuff thats obviously needed by pretty much everyone and yet has to be supplemented by coding angels who sacrifice their free time and probably don't get paid *** for it.

Firstly, I think it's great that you've asked for our top five issues and pain points! I'm genuinely curious to see what changes might be implemented based on the community's feedback.

    Issues
    • The Armory doesn't save Scribed skills (though this might be more of a pain point than an issue)
    • Ground AoE abilities such as Endless Hail and Winter's Embrace are sometimes cast twice
    • Heavy Attacks sometimes fail to fire
    • Animations bug out sometimes (this often happens when I weave Radiant Glory with a Bow on the front bar)

Pain Point: Ice Staves offer only defensive bonuses at the moment
    Spoiler
Ever since the introduction of the Warden's current Piercing Cold passive – which changes the buff depending on the player's Maximum Health – I’ve thought it would be cool if a similar mechanic could make Ice Staves more viable as an offensive weapon. While I don’t expect a complete overhaul of the Destruction Staff skill line, only updating the Ancient Knowledge passive could already make a difference.

To help illustrate my point, the updated passive could look like this: "Ice Staves reduce the cost of blocking by 36% and increase the amount of damage you block by 20% if you have 30000 or more Max Health, or increase your [insert buff here] if you do not."

The offensive buff could increase Damage Done by 6% or provide 1314 Critical Chance for example.

Pain Point: The viability of sets differs greatly
    Spoiler
I understand that the power of sets is partially determined by the content they drop from, so it’s logical for Overland sets to be less powerful than Trial sets. However, sets from the same type of content should ideally have comparable viability. Buffing some existing sets would help achieve this balance. Even small changes, like swapping Maximum Magicka for Critical Chance on certain sets, could make a noticeable difference.

When it comes to Class Sets, Corpseburster is the only standout since Pyrebrand was nerfed. I think partially reverting the Pyrebrand nerf and buffing sets like Aerie's Cry would go a long way toward making Class Sets more appealing.

Additionally, there are no standout Dungeon or Arena sets for Frost Damage right now, which I think is unfortunate. I’d personally love to see sets like Winterborn and Icy Conjurer buffed to match the effectiveness of sets like Aegis Caller and Pillar of Nirn.

Speaking of Dungeon sets, the new support set Fledgling's Nest feels far weaker compared to older sets like Spell Power Cure. Since the buff it provides is already common due to the Arcanist class and Scribing, I suspect few players will find it worth using. (Luckily, this set could still be buffed before it's released.)

Pain Point: Overland content is, in my opinion, too easy
    Spoiler
When I first read the Studio Director’s Letter and saw that you were considering increasing the difficulty of standard Overland combat, I let out an audible "Yes!" I’m genuinely glad to see this being addressed, as it’s hard to stay engaged while questing when everything dies in a hit or two. It also breaks immersion when bosses hyped up as world-ending threats are defeated without much effort. That said, I hope a more challenging Overland remains optional since not everyone may be looking forward to the increased difficulty.

    Pain Point: Hybridization isn't finished

Pain Point: The Warden could use some more love in the next patch
    Spoiler
While the Warden received some solid buffs in 2024 that improved its DPS in PvE, I hope the class will get more attention in the next patch. In my opinion, a few areas worth looking into are:

The class has two Damage Done buffs, which isn't particularly exciting
    Spoiler
In U44, the "increase Damage Done to monsters" buff was added to a class skill, the Nightblade's Shadowy Disguise, for the first time in ESO (I think?). Now that the precedent of differentiating class skills for PvP and PvE has been set, perhaps the same approach could be applied to the Warden class?

At present, Wardens have two conditional Damage Done bonuses meant to benefit PvE players: the Netch grants a 5% Damage Done buff when no negative effect is removed, while Piercing Cold buffs it by 8% if your Max Health is below 30K. While I appreciate the creativity behind these buffs, it feels odd that the class has two sources of the same generic bonus. I'd personally prefer one of them to be turned into a unique buff that aligns with the Warden's class fantasy. Using the "when Battle Spirit is active" mechanic for this new buff would prevent it from effecting the Warden's PvP performance too much (if at all).

Though the developers can of course come up with something better, here's an example to better illustrate what I mean:
    • Piercing Cold could be changed into: "Dealing Frost Damage inflicts the target with Piercing Cold for 6 seconds, increasing the damage they take from Frost Damage by 6%. This value is reduced to 2% when Battle Spirit is active." This would give Wardens a unique debuff, similar to Engulfing Flames, that tanks and damage dealers could easily apply.
    • Considering that this Piercing Cold change would result in a damage loss for Wardens themselves, the Damage Done buff the Netch gives could then be increased to 10% (and only work against monsters, if necessary).
    • The current 12% block mitigation from Piercing Cold when you have more than 30K Max Health could be moved to Icy Aura, improving a passive that currently isn't very strong.

The class lacks a strong Stamina-based spammable
    Spoiler
Compared to spammables like Rapid Strikes and Lethal Arrow, Cutting Dive just doesn't cut it. (Okay, that was a terrible wordplay.) I recognize that Dive functions decently as a DoT at the moment, but it would be great if it were more competitive when used as a spammable too.

Perhaps Cutting Dive's direct damage could be increased by X when cast again within Y seconds? Or maybe it could always apply Hemorrhaging or incorporate some form of stacking mechanic? (I wouldn't mind if this replaced setting enemies Off-Balance to keep the skill from becoming overloaded.)

The class has a heal that doesn't heal you when you're surrounded by enemies
Sorry, I just couldn't stop myself from mentioning Arctic Blast again.

Warden damage dealers (in PvE at least) have pretty bad sustain
When compared to other skills that help with sustain, such as the Nightblade's Siphoning Attacks or even the Templar's Rune Focus, the Warden's Netch restores less restores. I do get that the Netch is a pretty loaded ability already, especially now that it grants the 5% damage done bonus, but as a sustain tool it just isn't great.

That wouldn't matter as much if the Warden had other things to make up for it, but that isn't really the case for damage dealers. The Nature's Gift passive is relatively useless for DDs considering it only procs when you heal an ally with a Green Balance ability. If that passive was changed to also proc when you heal yourself, it would at least improve the Warden's sustain when soloing (I can imagine that it might be a bit too good if it restored the same amount when you heal yourself - but then again, the Arcanist's Hideous Clarity restores 225 Magicka or Stamina when you generate Crux, which happens often too).

Lastly, the Wardens Flourish passive "increases your Magicka and Stamina Recovery by 12%" if an Animal Companion ability is slotted. Meanwhile, the Arcanist's Erudition passive always increases both of those recoveries by 18%, and the Sorcerer's Stamina Recovery is buffed by 20% (not to mention that the Sorcerer's Unholy Knowledge passive reduces the cost of abilities by 6%). So alternatively, perhaps the Flourish passive could be tweaked a bit to improve the Warden's sustain?

    Edit: Corrected a typo.
Edit 2: Seeing as this thread is still going, I couldn't resist adding one more thing to my Warden pain point.

    Bugs
    1. When switching Armory builds, CP Passives require a re-zone before taking effect.
    2. Using the Achemy Station doesn't recognize you as being active. You can be kicked for inactivity if you spend too long in the Alchemy Station UI. And that time is not very long.
    3. Skills requiring a target don't always recognize an active target so can't fire despite the reticle being dead center on target and well within range (though I only started seeing this after I switched to PS5).
    4. Constant game crashes after upgrading to PS5.
    5. See #4

    Pain Points
    1. Bank Stacking - Needs a Stack All option just like inventory.
    2. Lack of a Search function for Crafting Stations.
    3. Guild Traders need more filters (ie.. "Unknown" for motifs)
    4. Bank Stacking - Because it merits repeating.

Sorry, I got to Pain Point 5 then kept going ....

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1 - Quest locked areas preventing access to lore books etc, so I can't complete my Eidetic Memory - I know some lore books are placed in an accessible spot post quest, but there are many more that aren't.

Pain Point 2 - The lack of an account wide Eidetic Memory - Different lore books are available in different types of content, so my quester isn't going into trials, and my DD isn't doing quests, so completion on one character is challenging.

Pain Point 3 - Housing furnishing slot limits are just too low - you know that! I'm not the first person to say this! I ALWAYS run out of slots before my design is anywhere near complete, specifically in larger houses where 600/700 slots doesn't allow you anywhere near enough furnishings to fill the house.

Pain Point 4 - Struggling to store the hundreds of furnishings I'm not currently using - can we have a furnishing bag that works like the craft bag?

Pain Point 5 - Limited options for house guests - can I please sit them on a chair or give them actions to perform? I imagine Azandar sitting at a desk reading, or Miri leaning at the bar drinking and chatting with Isobel. The best I can do at the moment is have them walking about or standing still and looking lost.

Pain Point 6 - Easier way to search guild traders - Maybe a global search function so I don't have to waste so much time travelling from zone to zone and trader to trader trying to find that one item I'm looking for.

Pain Point 7 - Crafting option to make items without needing to specify a specific style - maybe a basic generic style, so I'm not constantly burning through my style mats when doing crafting writs.

Pain Point 8 - We need Stackable Treasure Maps.

Pain Point 9 - Can we please have a mini-map on the hud.

Pain Point 10 - The game needs a difficulty slider - This would make the game more inclusive for players who's abilities may exclude them from experiencing harder content currently, and give players who can breeze through content too easily the chance to dial up the difficulty for a harder challenge. (Infinite Archive springs to mind!)

Pain Point 11 - Furnishing crafting needs a rethink - can we just have a single furnishing crafting station? The categorisation isn't always consistent, and it's often difficult finding which crafting station I need to make a specific item.

Pain Point 12 - Antiquities lead RNG! - The game is supposed to be fun? Grinding for leads is just NOT fun!

Pain Point 13 - I have to scroll down sometimes to see "Recipe Already Known" on recipes and furnishing plans. Can this be moved further up, maybe above the ingredients list.

    Thanks for listening.

    Top Bugs/Issues
Not too many at this point in my time with the game thankfully, however:
    Bug 1
Interactions being delayed/not recognised, either with harvesting at survey map locations, or talking to banker/merchant NPCs, that necessitates repositioning myself and re-attempting the interaction multiple times to finally work.

    Bug 2
Desynced lootable boss/regular monster bodies that either force a relog or running extremely far away from the entity to resolve.

    Top Pain Points
    Pain Point 1
    Inconsistency with group quest progression
-One player can be talking to an NPC and a second can force the quest to progress faster and cut the first person's ability to read/listen to all the dialogue available.
-Objectives like 'Collect 3 items' can be progressed for the group by everyone in most cases, but some quests inconsistently have personal progress instead.
It would be great if there was a consistency, and better clarity, on what elements of a quest are progressed individually and which are progressed for the group. When questing together with my other half, this annoyed him to the point of abandoning the quest and starting over, and there's no indication when talking to an NPC whether you're about to cause a quest-step to advance until it's too late.

    Pain Point 2
Older Companions, specifically Bastion/Mirri, having a lot less material and dialogue to them as compared with the Companions released subsequently. Having a Chapter's companions active while you progress the main quest of that Chapter has them provide commentary on the events unfolding, which Bastion and Mirri lack. It'd be nice to have them be fleshed out a little more to bring them to the same level as newer Companions.

    Pain Point 3
Massive overabundance of duplicate event drops every year. Specifically outfit styles, and the event writs from the Witches Festival and New Life Festival both, the style pages are hard to sell compared against motifs because of the ease of earning and you cannot learn them on multiple characters, and the event writs are near worthless because the reward in writ vouchers is so low for the expense in fulfilling it.

    Pain Point 4
It's petty, but Summerset being the only chapter zone with no survey maps irritates me a lot - it's a beautiful zone, with a beautiful soundtrack, but it's one less reason to go there compared to all chapters before and after.

    Pain Point 5
Outfit styles interface, styles listed are semi alphabetical at best, and newer motifs often don't seem to be sorted correctly.
Dyes don't dye consistently across armor pieces, which makes coordinating outfits a pain.

Bug 1: Casting ground skills that are then cancelled with barswap, or not casted because of camera placement.

Bug 2: Skills not casting after button press/release - so you just stand there.

Bug 3: Queuing for a random dungeon (or a specific one) and joining one nearing completion that is also a Daily, and not getting the Daily credit becaue of not being there from the begining.

Bug 4: Stacking of cross-healing in PVP needs a cap as it causes issues with group invulnerability.

Bug 5: PVP players who are better than me. That needs to stop. It is clearly a bug.

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1: Lack of variety in Trifecta achievements limits gameplay diversity - in addition to the standard trifecta acheivements, additional ones should be added that encourage accomplishing trifectas with diverse classes, or builds, such as requiring at least two of each class in roster. Perhaps for a Season, have the community weigh in on a the details of a particularly new trial trifecta acheivement, so it come from a reasonable knowledge base on what can be accomplished. Achievements need to be added to older trials.

Pain Point 2: Log-in reward are of such low quality on average and need to be improved.

Pain Point 3: Celebrate score pusher (group and individual) accomplishments instead of nerfing their strategies - there is a lot of fun in pushing limits and most of us are never going to be at that level, but it adds to a 'fun vibe' with a game. Spreadsheet normalization of every skill/armor set leads to a 'boring vibe'.

Pain Point 4: Companion AI around enemy ground AOE needs to be improved - they literally just stand and die. They should move to get out of them.

Pain Point 5: Average damage dealer skill is so low that queuing for a random vet dungeon (or even a random normal) as actual tank is so painful that most do not. Something needs to be done - for vet at least - to ensure that damage dealers have shown an ability to do damage before they can join a queue.
Endgame damage doer with more than one vet trial clear.

Bug 1: rush of agony, Roa pulls based in when the proc started not where you are when it pulls making it pull WAY further than 12m. Should really make this a pve set only, but if you wont do that at least make the proc work right based on. Where you are when it begins the pull.

Bug 2: Stuck in combat between dm rounds and cyro. And after killing dragons in southern elswyer... happens all the time.

Bug 3: Dk leap causes an unavoidable animation that makes you fall and then recover in slow motion. You can't break free during the animation which lasts about 2 gcd.

Bug 4: Elemental resistance glyphs like flame resist do not work... I've done some testing and my flame damage is exactly the same with/without flame resist glyph slotted.

    Top Pain points

Pain point 1: Should be able to mount in combat. If I can take the time to swap a sword and shield for a two handed maul while in combat, there's no logical reason why I can't climb on the back of a horse, or dog, or whatever, while in combat.

Pain point 2: Stackable treasure maps. Surveys are stackable... no logical reason why this can't be. They aren't that rare. I get about 2 souther elswyer maps per day. I can't sell them that fast.

Pain point 3: Unable to lock things you don't want to use like recipes. Should be able to make it so clicking them doesn't automatically consume them if you lock it, like armor. I have things like molten war torte I don't want to use and I have to be extra careful in my inventory for things like this.

Pain point 4: Make old sets new again by buffing and or reconfigured them.

Pain point 5: Rush of agony, roa is not balanced. It can control an entire bg every 8 seconds. Please make pve only. Set is way overpowered.

    Some pain points:
    1. For khajiits, fur patterns are not separate from body markings. Also cannot change the color of the fur patterns. Keep the leopard spots while having war paint on.

    2. Unable to dye hair using the outfit station

    3. Outfits and costumes don't have a 4th dyeable channel. It would be nice to dye every single part of the costume or outfit.

    4. Hair and clothes don't have realistic physics and animations.

    5. Unable to swim underwater and fight enemies while in the water.

    6. No selfi mode or free camera in the game. I would love to take more dynamic screenshots from different angles, even close ups of my characters. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/670848/suggestion-for-a-in-game-screenshot-mode

It might me long and a bit comprehensive list from me (def have more than top 5). And as a guy that works in programming a bit I sometimes understand why some things are as they are and how they could come to be but still happened...

    Bugs:
    1) As people said stuck on combat.Llike that times when whole team dead on LC or SE but we still in combat somehow even minutes after.
    2) Inconsistency in pulling the mobs on the horse - sometimes I ride next to them and they starting aggro but quickly losing it, other time I had it aggro immedietly or that starting aggro went to full aggro (begining the combat) when I'm long past them. And yes, was raiding on full speed... nb+ max horse speed+speeding
    3) random leading screen... sometimes even during Tales of Tribute match... and then table skew in such way that it's unplayable (barely see all tavern screen and hourglass and def not seeing opponent cards including agents) - this I already put on forums and the tickets before - still can happen
    4) targetting doors, corpes and other - I'm standing right next to the door and it says "target too far"... really? That has to be a bug
    5) phantom mailing - yeap, still happenens that you have X unread mails then you open mails and see nothing there except the note that mails might need few minutes to get there... rezoning not resloving it only relogging or getting new mail
    6) occasional clipping error on being thrown into walls and such and being pushed past them (happens to both pc and npc)
    7) something I personally experience in Vollenfell - during the Blood and Sand quest there is a stage about pulling levers in the Guardian's Skull and if 2 players have that quest in group it only counts for the player that actually pulled the lever
    8) random boss resets... usually it's minibosses in Cloudrest, Vollenfell last boss, Falkreath Hold Cennurion fight and Fang Lairs skeleton animals boss... if my nightblade's shadow is out bosses resets with even Vollenfell hm being resettted too... usually need to stay way in the back and sometimes even that not helps
    9) Might be considerred a bug - light from lighting furnishings often goes beyond walls - e.g. in my fogbreak lighthouse I planned to put some lighing item on the 2nd floor but the light seeped through the floor to the 1st and 3rd floor (floors counted american way); similar things happened with some other items like that clockwork stairs with flooring - put one dummy on top of it and one on bottom layer and my nb path triggered both dummies
    10) this have to be bug - when I farmed leas in Blackreach I saw a pattern of ranged mobs coming close to me to attack but melee ofter moved away to throw soemthing or otherwise attack
    11) Crafting styles mats during crafting are not alphabetically neither by style name (it does not even include number there if it's ordered by id) nor by the stone name which makes sometimes more difficult to fin the correct one... also for crown style only ones I would use the icon of the mimic stone )or whatever it is called) instead of random one...
    12) death in trials before it even started breaks no-death runs (than one spot in HoF or CR used before the trial officially started still counted towards no-death run)
    13) during the mayhem event in Imperial City when going up the ladders to the town itself from base I did get quite oten a bug 'you already queued for that campaign' and being thrown down again... sometimes even loading screen fully happened
    14) error "something went wrong" on looting the boss in IC (and some other places)... game is penalizing player for that and kicks player out and after relog the boss body is gone...
    15) with the switching battlegrounds from 4v4v4 to 4v4 some of the scorings/medals were completly omitted that were present before

    Pains:
    1) Treasure Maps - like so many people stated they too should be stackable... just like surveys are
    2) speaking of treasure maps... Antiquities from treasure maps... they should be curated especially like the ones from Telvanni Peninnsula... currently there is rnd to get a lead (I assume like 5% for a lead to drop) then it's another rnd which at some point made me get 5 times in a row same lead and other 10 diff leads possibilities were still at 0 drop... adding that rule on lead drops (1st almost 100% then 2nd lowest then 3rd somewhere in the middle) it makes hunting them even more grusome
    3) Tavern rng in Tales of Tribute sometimes leaves much to desire... like I witnessed 3 mathes in a row when for opponent tavern had items worth 2-4 coins and he get them and then for me items worth 6-10 coins that were impossible to buy at that point multiple rounds in a row which made the opponent soon could rack up 14-20 coins each turn when I was stuck at 8 coins max and having only cards in tavern with effect like 'destroy card' and no other card... and when taken? it is replaced with card with effect 'draw 1 more'
    4) inconsistency in dungeon finder - as dd usually got need to wait 10+ minutes for even an rnd... a very rare occasion is immediate dung find... as tank/healer it's under 3 minutes... it makes me even wonder if specific dungeon search search for people set only that one ignoring rnd people...
    5) collectible fragments tabs... when you collect it all and they will never drop another (like tot deck fragments) or when you have all other yearly collectibles bought (like having unstable morpholitic and all it's morphs) those tabs should not be shown visible there anymore
    6) inconsistency of the colors in outfit... e.g. Frozen Blood - I'm excpecting it to be some sort of red dye but when I put it on the item it's blue
    7) PVE IN PVP ZONES! ESPECIALLY DURING MAYHEM! I can't count how many times I was killed while turning in quest or moving that 10meters between quest givers and 1st objective.
    8) no basics guild features present in every other games with guilds e.g guilds not searchables by name... and for trading guilds there is a ton of options that are only in addons... oblivion, I even use one addon (Master Merchant) just to track my sales in guilds even though it gives me pricing... nothing more, even though it has some more features... Guild Masters would add more things probably to this point
    9) Treasure maps drops - with even the event I have rarely see maps drops... and there is quite a disparity in rarirty of the maps... like for 1 dlc map i usually see like 10 from base game zones... including 2-3 from khenartii's roost
    10) player relogging and groups - currently if player relogs for the group he need to leave group and be reinvited bc his old character stayed in group... that's a bit counterintuitive and should be amended...
    11) ranged companions could move out of the boss arena range with aggro on them...
    12) class styles pages - unnecessary class gatekeeping of those... I understand the limiting of sets but not really the outfits... there are people that would dressed e.g. nb in necro gear...
    13) catering pve sets to the complains of pvp players (e.g. azureblight - last changes were definetly about the pvp complains)...
    14) curently the main quests summonings need reworking... all quests in harborage should be able to do back to back without leaving harborage if they are no longer level locked
    15) no guild bank assistants... and no guild trader assistants...
    16) not personally used but... the idea of mara's ring being a regular ring when we have almost all if not all the sets having jewlery is not a good idea anymore... would move it to the costume slot
    17) companions feels like they are being both treated as collectible assistant (cyro) and another player (solo arenas) at the same time... it would be nice to make it consistent... IIRC you can summon banker and/or merchant in Maelstrom but not the companion...
    18) it feels like trials and dungeons are not fully separated instances and the location from which you come to the trial mattered in case of performance - one such thing was quite some time ago during season of the dragon when I went to the trial from Tideholm I had crashes and big lags quite often but to get rid of them all i had to do was to go to betnikh and then to the same trial...
    19) Since Infinite Archive is basically a special arena it should somewhat reflect that... let us move out of it and come back later without losing progress (there were even stories that some scorepushers did it in 2-3 days basically sleeping in turns to push the score)... especially when we go solo and we got crashed then game penalizes us with login problems and when we finally come back we are kicked out of Archive

    Extra ideas:
    1) as someone stated - guild tabard could get a rework... instead of actual tabard add an extra slot for tabard like item that would work in similar way but not visually... or just add a switch for it to make the tabard itself invisible on the model but the name of the guild still there
    2) For the point 7 of pains - here's an idea - made a pve only version of campaign... at least for the Mayhem event... it could even have turned off the AP and Tel vars drops alongsie any pvp quests... just so people can get tickets without forcing them to look over shoulder or be dead 20 times during just moving from point A to B for that quest...
    3) what I hear people often says much about furnishings taking plenty of space and I witnessed it too... half of my bank is filled with furnishings and the other half with some sets for my alts... furnishing bag would really resolve that issue and let put other things in there... like abundance of crown tri-stat potions from daily login... in my point of view it could be even introduced as another craft bag - eso+ only
    4) overabundance of currencies makes sometimes unnecessary forced grind... I would introduced currency broker that could change one currency into another. this would also work nice with some of the limited currencies (like transmutes could be exchanged for writs)
    5) Golden pursuits were advertised as 'rare' but currently it looks like they are endeavours 2.0... not every event need them and after the base 10th anniversary they should be more sparse...
    6) for some QoL things it's a good idea to look into most used addons in the community... there's plenty of things that could be implemented (group filleting was one thing you did implemented that was only available by addon)
    7) next logical move with crafting would be a craftable or upgradable companion gear

To others who said "too many events" is a pain... I assumed it was/is due to 10th anniversary since last year had increase in them with some pushed to this year... and after that is over we will see a bit less events...

My major bug is CTDs and system reboots, followed closely by "the launch failed" (even though I'm in-game and playing). For those occasions where the game procs a dialog box asking what I was doing at the time, I fill that in, but more commonly, it's just a freeze, awful noise from the speakers, and a full system reboot (occasionally with a blue-screen error). This used to be a very rare thing and I thought it was just Windows being Windows, but it's been close to a daily occurrence for the past several months and it's only for ESO. My initial suspicion was that it's nVidia-related since the only major change to my system was replacing my graphics card a few months back, but no issues with other games, so I'm drawing a blank.

Pain points? Oh, where to begin?

    1. "Inventory Management: The Game" - I have 480 Bank slots because sub and spend a lot of time trying to keep the clutter below 200 items, but I had to toon-swap twice yesterday to decon because non-stacking glyphs (and a bunch of others stuff, but lots and lots of glyphs). Non-stacking Treasure Maps are another inventory pain point. Furnishings which are filling up the Coldharbour Surreal Storage Area and other houses that I mostly use for recall purposes, but can't be deconned for mats. There is a lot of pain when it comes to inventory, even with a sub.
    2. I'm running out of sacrifices to the RNG gods when it comes to some of those event style pages. If your goal is to get people into the game and doing the event stuff, how about having outfit curation kick in after opening some minimum number of Glorious coffers (those are capped at one per day per account, so only need four or five bits to track)? I'm pretty close to having a couple of complete Lion Guard Captain outfits, minus the one page that refuses to drop. I'll probably end up buying it, but it should be pretty close to guaranteed after doing event stuff every day for the whole event.
    3. I don't spend bunches of time in Cyrodiil because I'm not a PvP'er, but "stuck in combat" is a problem in PvE, too.
    4. Crafting styles and the endless scrolling. I'm on PC and use an addon to help with Master Writs, but when I need to manually craft something, it's a seemingly endless scroll trying to find the one style or style mat I need. The scrollbar maybe made some sense back when there were less than a couple of dozen styles, but we're up to 129 styles, each using a different style mat, and there needs to be some method of quickly finding a particular style and finding the most plentiful style mats.

There are bunches of petty annoyances out there, like having to spend a couple of minutes trying to find the one pixel that didn't clip below the geometry to loot an opponent (stuff Ember kills is particularly bad about this), and I'm mindful that there are a lot of things that sort of made sense at the time they were implemented and have not aged well over the following years, but those are the pain points that immediately jumped to mind for me.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

    Dear Zos,
I have a lot of bugs to report and a lot of pain points.
But I drop them all if you fix one thing for me and I'll never complain about anything anymore. It's an oath I take here in front of everyone !

Bring Darien Gautier back for real, for good, and as a companion ! That's it.

I forget the stuck-in-combat-from-Blackboot-To-Chalman-bug, the housing furniture limit, the skills not triggering. Everything !
    !
My true pain in game is Darien's pain.

    1. Changes to how cosmetics/accessories are equipped.
    • Why is the dye for a circlet/face accessory tied to hair colour
    • Why is facial hair in the same section as eye accessories
    • The Ability to layer tattoos and skins
    • More outfits/styles that actually show off tattoos in a tasteful way
    2. Better way to store / search for furnishings that are being stored in houses.
    3. Better UI and search at guild traders
    4. More than Three/More Specific Dye Channels for Outfits and Costumes
    5. Figure out the reason why some dyes look totally different on different costumes. EX Void Pitch on one outfit will look as intended, but on others it looks like a totally washed out grey colour. Which for the darkest black dye in the game should not be happening. If I wanted grey I'd use a grey dye.

    1. Group Finder. It is almost impossible to get a group when entering the queue with two people. Roles/crown doesn’t seem to matter. Yet when my buddy and I queue separately we will get a group much quicker and much more reliably.
    2. Group Finder again. There are still fake groups listed that can’t actually be joined on a regular basis.
    3. Skills not going off, for me it is usually ultis.
    4. Last Fight in Moonhunter Keep. In the phase with the coloured symbols there is often (always? not sure) one missing. Been that way forever, should be an incredibly easy fix.

    Top Pain Points

    1. Lead grind. Just recently had to open somewhere between 100 and 150 chests (gotta find them first) to get a lead. That’s just too much.
    2. Crafting. I’d love to be able to craft a finished item instead of having to improve it multiple times and then enchant it individually.
    3. Outfits. Some pieces just don’t fit with others. Shoulders floating in the air, belt buckles nowhere near the body, shields not touching hand/arm.
    4. Unfinished hybridization
    5. Heal stacking in pvp (ball) groups. You know what I’m talking about.

Thank you for asking for user feedback like this, greatly appreciated.

    Top 5 Bugs:
Banner Bearer Class Mastery Script failure: Sometimes the Class Mastery on Banner Bearer stops working. I've seen this a lot when playing Arcanist. Normally it should trigger every 5 seconds, but I've always had the Class Mastery stop generating Crux in the middle of a combat without Banner Bearer stopped, which makes me have to reuse Banner Bearer to fix it. I'm sure this problem exists in other classes as well.

Channeled skill stuck: Also common with Arcanists, and Templars. When trying to use channeled skills the character doesn't start the corresponding animation correctly. Instead, it enters an animation that looks like a heavy attack and stays stuck there until you use another action to cancel it.

Ghost group stuck in Group Finder: It's been around for a long time. I made an addon to try to fix it, but the complete solution to this problem requires the ZOS to step up to the plate
    https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info3967-LykeionsGroupBanisher.html

Camera spin when closing containers: Randomly triggers the camera's spin when opening and closing a container or a menu, which is a bit annoying.

Nightblade's Master Assassin mechanic confusion: I've posted a report about this in Bug Reports, but never got a response. If it's a bug I hope it's fixed, if it's not then I hope it's more clearly described.
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/605395/nbs-master-assassin-not-triggered-by-flanking-but-what-cardinal-direction-you-are-facing

    Top 5 Pain Points:
Harmonization of Metrics: Need to standardize the way stats are measured.219crit = 1% crit chance, or 660armor = 1% PvE mitigation, these conversions just confuse and inconvenience newcomers. I realize that there may be some historical factors that cause them to still use numerical values instead of percentages, but it's time for a change.

HD Texture Packs: I would really like to see ZOS make optional HD texture packs available to players who want them. The game has been running for more than 10 years, and some things look too dated.

Need a better way to handle surveys: Allow us to stack different surveys, or reduce the number of surveys but increase the mat provided by each survey accordingly, or provide survey assistants.

Quick Cast Ground Abilities jams: Even when we enabled quick cast, most of the time we still have to wait for the targeting circle to appear and shrink to ensure that the ground ability is cast correctly. I would like to see ground skills have the same logic as normal skills when we set quick cast.

Preferred Enemy Mechanism Optimization: This feature looks a lot like locking but is far from locking in practice. I'd like to see this feature enhanced to be closer to the lock-on feature in traditional 3D games.

    1. Bug 1 In first place I put the bug related to all the lorebooks that have always been bugged. Some are not available post-quest, some do not exist in the game (there are two books that do not exist and no one has ever found them, but I will not talk about it here), others are bugged after the books have been differently catalogued by the developers, so those who had already found them, now no longer have them, but they are impossible to have post-quest. This problem makes many players despair, those who would like to be able to complete the collection of Eidetic Memory books, but for now (after 10 years) it is absolutely impossible. I think that an Eidetic Account Wide could be the solution to this age-old problem, provided that the missing books are finally introduced into the game.
    2. Bug 2 In second place is the bug that concerns the impossible leads. Those that come from the treasure maps of West Weald first and foremost. Also in general all the leads from the DLC The Deadlands onwards... are all extremely difficult. Too much. Right now I'm trying to complete the Music Box for the third time, to complete the codexes, but I've killed at least 100 times a boss in Apocrypha and I don't get the lead. Let's not talk about when you have to find a party of 4 people who want to kill all the side bosses of Coral Aerie and then kill the final secret boss... a job of hours to organize the party, to then never see the lead given by this boss. I consider all this beyond human possibility. It's definitely not fun anymore. I think there's a basic bug with all the latest leads and it should be fixed, so that they are challenging, but in the end give satisfaction without having to commit for months or years. I recently received a lead after 6 months of trying: it didn't seem like a victory, but rather an absurdity.
    3. Bug 3 The fact that you can't safely do quests as a couple. Every time (and I mean every time) that my husband and I tried to do a series of quests together in a group, it always ended up that one of us had to abandon the quest and start it over without a group. Why? Oh, various bugs can happen, for example, one of us can no longer interact with something, or the quest progresses for one and not the other, who however can't recover unless he abandons the quest itself. This bug is really particularly annoying.
    4. Bug 4 Some items are impossible to find in the guild traders. In fact, the names of some items are not in the list, they cannot be found for those who want to buy them, so they cannot even be sold. Here are some examples: "Runebox: Snowball Buddy", "Runebox: Powderwhite Coney", "Style Page: House Dufort Banneret". This bug has been reported several times on the forum, but no one has ever really cared. It's a shame that some items are impossible to sell/buy through the guild traders...
    5. Bug 5

    Top Pain Points
    1. Pain Point 1 The first point here I think is always the leads. On one hand I see them as bugs, because I don't think they were created with the intention of driving players crazy. On the other hand I see them as a pain point, because I think that the possibility of completing collections should always be given. Players play hard, grind for hours, for what? At least to have the satisfaction of seeing something completed IN THE END. Getting curated leads would be a great start to solving this problem.
    2. Pain Point 2 Infinite Archive. Why do the rewards that matter have to be locked behind little portals that have nothing to do with the fight (except in one case)? Please, let's give the possibility to obtain these types of rewards (I mean, leads, style pages, etc..) also in the Muniment Chests of cycle bosses. That would be awesome.
    3. Pain Point 3Companions have several problematic points for me: 1) they are not strong enough to resist important bosses, they die immediately even with purple gear and gear pertinent to their role 2) they talk too much and repetitively, even with the "minimal" option, the "shut up" option should be available 3) during combat it happens too often that I end up talking to the companion, while I would have liked to loot from fallen enemies 4) by now there are so many of them and it is difficult to remember their capricious tastes, so you always end up killing a butterfly or catching a fish or picking a nirnroot... and they lose rapport. All these reasons mean that I make infinitesimal use of companions. But maybe this was not the intention...
    4. Pain Point 4 Housing. Infinite posts ask for the possibility of having a furnishing bag. It is actually very grotesque to have to use several houses as storage. I have purchased all the houses available in the game and half of them contain furnishings in storage. This could be solved by dematerializing furnishings, exactly like you do with collectibles. If we have a collectible furnishing, we actually do not have it anywhere, but we summon and materialize it only when we use it in a house. All other furnishings should also be dematerialized. Unlike collectibles, these should be assigned in a certain determined number to the player and must be usable indefinitely in the same house. This way no one would need to occupy banks, chests, houses with furnishings.
    5. Pain Point 5 I often find myself doing several master writs at once. Since I can only accept one quest per type of master writ, if I have 10 Woodworking Master Writs, I can accept the first quest, while I have to do the other 9 without quests, which I will then accept when I have delivered the first one. So far so good. However, when I am without a quest and I have to craft a very specific item, with a very specific style, I have to scroll with the mouse between the infinite styles that are now present in the game, and there will be more and more as the years go by. I wondered if there was a way to make this scrolling less difficult and more immediate. I do a lot of master writs and for me this would be a great improvement in the quality of life in the game.

I reserve the option to integrate this post with other ideas if they come to mind.

    Top Bugs/Issues:
    Bug 1
Arcanist's Fatecarver usually does not deal damage when the enemy is directly in front of character.
    Bug 2
Some crafting stations (like in Blackwood's Leyawiin) have their note that player can press E to interact HOWEVER players receive error that charatcer has to move closer.
    Bug 3
Technical group bug which prevents from queue up for dungeons even all players in group meet requirement
    Bug 4
Cruxes from Inspired Scholarship and Banner with Class Mastery active at the same time usually generate only one crux instead of two even if player will NOT do any interruption interactions like block, bar swap or roll dodge.

    Top Pain Points:
    Pain Point 1
Porting with the wayshrine while in combat in PvE zones is no more possible since Blackwood chapter, forcing player to defeat this random monster (which can even stuck anywhere or maybe it's a single Strangler) or run away far enough to lose aggro. It's better to leave combat early like before instead of sending dozens of API request that monster is coming to player only to hit player once and leaving combat after that.

    Pain Point 2
Treasure maps are still not stackable in any inventory

    Pain Point 3
Class balance in PvE is still poor:
    a) Wardens as healer are still BiS for years and they cannot be replaced in vet tiffecta prog trials thanks to their class exclusive passive.
    b) Necromancers after nerfs and changes to Empower Buff are restricted to be DD with Elemental Catalyst, sometimes as a healers in dungeons (if warden from point the a above is not found), sometimes on tank role.

    Pain Point 4
Many old sets are dead and/or have missing their perfected version.
    a) Some of them provide Empower buff like Aegis of Galenwe (which is useless because HA build players already have it with Oakensoul ring and I didn't see any single player with HA build without this mythic)
    b) Other sets still don't have their perfected version (e.g. Master Architect from the Halls of Fabrication or Roar of Alkosh from the Maw of Lorkaj)

    Pain Point 5
Craft bag should be possible to buy it as one-time permanent rather than being ESO Plus exclusive feature

    Pain point 6
Long times in queue back like before it's rework. Small suggestion: implement estimated waiting time and add warning if it may take too long if play would decide to queue up (note that players on DD role usually go AFK and because they're blocking the queue, other 3 players accepted ready check they have to wait 45 second to return to the queue to pick next first player from the queue)

    Pain point 7
Many Fake DDs are still queue up for vet DLC dungeons with zero knowledge about dungeon or combat mechanics

    Pain point 8
Essence Drain has to be reworked and proc Major Mending not only with fully charged Heavy Attacks (especially only for 2/4 seconds)! We shouldn't restrict this passive skill only to healers who use Roaring Opportunist. I This is a waste of passive skill. Maybe it would be better to change the triggerer to "overhealing other player"? I literraly did not see any healer who used heavy attack to proc this buff. Uptime of this buff was only found in wardens because they can proc it with Accelerated Growth passive (so this is repeat of Pain point #3 point a) and Dragonknights with their Obsidian Shield and both morphs.

    Pain point 9
Purge skill (and others similar) became totally useless starting from Blackwood chapter in trials and DLC dungeons released by adding mechanics with tons of unpurgeable DoTs (dealing damage every 0.5-1.0 sec) or debuffs.

Bug 1: The Dungeon Finder still doesn't work properly when gearing with less than a full group. Fix it.

Bug 2: Treasure maps still don't stack. Make them stack like survey maps.

Pain point 1: Jabs animation is still horrible and needs reverted or a new animation needs to be created that actually makes thematic sense for a Templar.

Pain point 2: The armory needs to save and store armor sets so that we don't need to carry so many sets with us.

Pain point 3: The Golden Vendor in Cyrodiil needs an overhaul. Perhaps adding a third helmet or shoulder and another dungeon jewelry set each week and guaranteeing at least two of them are DLC would stop the complete garbage weeks that are happening way too often nowadays.

Pain point 4: Add quests to more big events like you did for Hollowjack. New Life, Jester's, Whitestrake, etc. could use a revamp for those of us that have been playing forever. Even if you just add a new quest boss for each event, it would at least make them feel somewhat fresh.

Pain point 5: Finish damage over time length standardization. Your initial goal was to make rotations less clunky, but some classes still have five or more DOT lengths they need to track. All DOT's 10s or 20s and finish it for good this time.

I’m speaking for me and my mom who play as I just started playing again to play with her. I appreciate seeing this and hope feedback can be listened too but more importantly I hope leadership will allow for more investment into the game to bring back players!

    1. Crown Store items that are bugged showing character model seams or missing affects (like Fatemirror Evening Wear right now, or the soul razor sword in the past that took near a year to fix…) take FAR to long to fix for premium PAID items...

    2. Being punished for leaving groups in group finder that has fake tanks or healers who aren’t compensating with good dps at the very least. Being punished for leaving that when I correctly qued for my role is horrible.

    3. Lack of investment back into the game knowing its monthly income at least as of 4 months ago it was near $15million monthly revenue with its current playerbase which considering how small the concurrent playerbase is now makes for an impressive feat. With that said I really hope leadership invests more into engine enhancements/optimizations as well as server.

    4. Improving the quality of classes and their abilities and combat identity to match Arcanist. As well as fixing bar swapping so it’s a smooth painless swap. I loathed the horrible animation change to templars jabs but that appears to not want to be fixed or change so I’m just not bringing it up anymore (jk there it is). These are my class/combat gripes.

    5. Fixing character movement and jump so it’s smooth like War of Warcraft movement, it feels so sluggish and being slowed down when sprinting and jumping never feels good and honestly isn’t realistic. Even if sprint speed needs to be tuned down to compensate or whatever the reasoning is for the movement physics, I hate how it is currently…

To me these are all pain points so.

    Bugs:
These are issues I experience in game that I believe are truly bugs.
    1. Stuck in combat. To me, there's many times I simply cannot get out of combat. Usually it's a mob that can't find it's way to me and I have to close out of the game to get a state refresh. This would be less of an issue if the in-combat restrictions on various actions were lifted.
    2. Lag. The most common form of lag I encounter is skill lag. I press a skill and it's a few seconds before it happens. Sometimes I'll get a delay where nothing's happening and then all the skills I pressed fire out rapidly.

    Pain Points
These are issues with the game that I believe are intended design or areas of improvement.
    1. Targeting & Object interaction. My single biggest issue with the game itself is I absolutely cannot trust my targeting. I most frequently experience this with activating skills - where I was previously on target, the mob moved ever so slightly, and now my whole rotation is off. I also experience when interacting with objects in the world. When you give me a prompt to do something - like loot an enemy - I interpret that as a readied action. But, too often it doesn't work. I'll kill a mob, I'll get a loot prompt, then in between them dying and hitting the ground, the looting action is rendered invalid. It's not clear if my reticle's endpoint truly represents what I can interact with. Regardless, looting and object in this game is spotty at best. I want to loot, not jump. I want my skills to fire when they appear ready.
    2. Horse training. It's not fun. I don't see what value this adds to the game, except a nod to the crown store. At the very least, I should be able to purchase my mount training in one sitting - just like bank and bag space upgrades.
    3. Intrusive Questgivers. I've called this out quite a few times before. @ZOS_Kevin I recently sent you a ticket number related to this. Base game is littered with NPCs that follow me around and teleport right on me the moment I enter their radius. I never want an NPC running up to me while I'm at a wayshrine or outfit station. NPCs like Leramil and Ladlow Menant are a few others that need tuning. I just think we should put questgivers in one spot.
    4. FOMO & Monetization. I look at the map and see a lot of houses I can't earn or buy even if I wanted to. I'll see people running around town with styles that were part of some crown pack from 3 years ago. You get the idea. There needs to be more permanently available content outside of events and motifs. Some areas you guys are very generous, other areas, not so much.
    5. Trading. I'm so burned out of trade guilds and their constant raffles and auctions filling up my chat window. Us solo traders need better in-game options to sell stuff.

    Bugs:

    1. Performance drops both in game and out of game when tabbing in and out regularly, zoning a bunch, or when the power saving function kicks in. It feels like some of the time ESO either isn't giving up resources or isn't picking resources back up when it takes/loses focus.

    2. Some quests such as the Volenfell Dungeon will bug if another player commits an action to progress them instead of the person the quest.

    3. At times the server and the client disagree on item locations to the degree you cannot loot items.

    4. At times the server fails to tell the client that a companion is attacking things and doing damage after the companion has been resurrected. This can leave the companion looking dumb on the client and lead to bosses dying with hundreds of thousands of hp still listed on the client.

    5. Stuck in Combat (Primarily in PvP or when the AI has summons.

    Pain Points:

    1. Frequently the visuals on my character clash with how I'd like my character to appear. When my character is fully buffed the appearance frequently clashes with the fantasy I have for what the character would look like. It'd be nice to be able to disable some visual effects on ourselves. A big example of this would be the glow on Nightblade's Grim Focus Morphs. I don't want to hide from other players that I've got it up in PvP as that could be an unfair advantage but, I don't want to see it on myself.

    2. I regularly find that the activities that pay well and the activities that are fun are frequently totally different. For example, I can make more gold doing 15 minutes crafting writs than I'll do in hours of story questing.

    3. Some sets and abilities feel like they don't align with modern stat values. For example, compare Obsidian Shield to Scribed Damage shield abilities. I've got like half a dozen characters that are sitting running no gear because I haven't gotten around to picking a build for them because I need to look through so much stuff to do it that I just don't bother.

    4. Combat stats and actions are frequently unclear when it comes to results in standard gameplay.

    5. Combat in my view tends to excessively favor skill, builds, and coordination. Obviously, you want to reward those things but, you don't want the rewards to be so high that combat ends up being a slog that feels like it drags on forever for part of the population and over in a few seconds for another section of the people.

    I'm on PC/NA.

    BUGS
    1. When I preview a furnishing, I lose my field of view settings, all nameplates become larger, and I have to open and close my inventory to reset it.
    2. I get kicked when in loading screen sometimes, like every other day.
    3. Sometimes my companion just disappears!
    4. I wish I could give my companions something other than an ice staff. But then they would leash the boss out of bounds and he resets.
    5. It must be a bug that there are so many confusing invulnerability stages to a boss because you wouldn't do that on purpose, right? Because wasting my ulti and not having any idea what is going on is just so awesome!

    PAIN
    1. Twilight Matriarchs RUIN my gameplay experience. They block my camera, vendors, doors, , wayshrines, quest givers, boss mobs, mobs in dungeons and delves and trials, and yes STILL crafting areas! and are always everywhere! I want to see my character, not that hideous malformed, pixilated outdated-graphics monster! It makes me so angry, you just can't even imagine the intensity of my rage over this as this annoyance grows worse and worse during a game session, finally obliterating my enjoyment. Get rid of them or give us the option to stop seeing them. I have rage-quit the game over this before.
    2. The furniture limit is no longer excusable! I played Rift back in the day and their limit was enormous! And we could free-camera and scale furnishings. This ESO housing system was obsolete before it even began.
    3. I NEED a furniture storage bag! I can't even play housing anymore because my furniture is everywhere in chests, on mules (wasted character slots), and in storage houses. I don't want to spend hours locating and retrieving furnishings. So I just don't decorate anymore. What a mess!
    3. I can't tell the SCALE/SIZE of a furnishing in the preview window! Why not? Place my character next to it for scale, please!
    4. The hand-holding and condescension to my intellect during recent quests is beyond cringe into pure pain. It's tragic, really, that such a once-majestic lore is now so cringe-inducing and tedious. I roll my eyes until I get a headache! I used to listen to the entire vocals and now I speed-read the quest and close the window as fast as possible so I don't get angry and stop playing. And stop calling me by some stupid pet-name every couple of seconds!! People don't talk like that! Proxy proxy proxy proxy proxy proxy!!! Mercenary! Etc...! I have a name! But only say it once...that's all that is needed!
    5. Survey and treasure maps (once you make them stackable) should auto-reset if I have more than one in a stack instead of me having to run away and run back only to find I didn't run far enough and doing it again 3 or 4 times until I finally get the respawn. Lame and not fun! Make them instant respawn!

All that being said I still love this game, but sometimes, not so much.
