BUG -- the companion piece to the stuck-in-combat bug is the Zero Stamina Recovery bug which is most commonly found in Cyrodiil and especially in Gray Host. It has existed for years.

    ---

I report non-workaround bugs on the Feedback/Bug report form in the game.

Pain Point -- too many cluttering objects in and around keeps in Cyrodiil (trees, crates, broken lumber, etc.) that add atmosphere but are a nuisance to maneuver around or over. Cyrodiil is actually a beautiful zone and I love riding through it; however, areas in and around outposts and keeps should be cleared of excess trash materials and other objects because they hinder proper gameplay. Basically, they are a nuisance.

Pain Point-- critter clutter. Far too many insects, cockroaches, butterflies, dragonflies, mice, dear, elk, foxes, etc., all of which can lead you to be unexpectedly dismounted when you attempt to jump over something ... only to find yourself harvesting a butterfly. This also happens in delves and dungeons where you are about to attack an enemy and you find yourself mercilessly blasting a mouse scampering across the floor. Makes good atmosphere, but terrible gameplay!

Pain Point -- cannot use mount or become dismounted when attempting to do ordinary things like go through the main doors of a city. This also happens with stealth... if you happen to be in stealth and go through a door or enter a delve, for example, you will find yourself out of stealth on the opposite side. One would think the server could remember whether or not you were in stealth or not.

Pain Point -- too many restrictions when in combat. Cannot open a door if you are in combat. Cannot mount your horse if you are in combat. There is a huge list of things you cannot do while in combat. Surprisingly, the only way you actually know if you are in combat is to press the Options button or Map button and you will see a red glowing border around the screen. One wonders why the red glowing border is not on the main window rather than hidden by a button presses.

Pain Point -- in PvE, if you are struck from the flank by any enemies you are immediately and oftentimes repeatedly snared and must move in slow motion until the snare wears off. I appreciate the mechanic of snaring but I always ask myself when I play a game, why is this necessary and why, if it isn't fun and is very annoying, why does it have to exist? Do PvE monsters really need this advantage to use against us? I don't think so.

    ---

I have played the Elder Scrolls Online and paid my subscription every year for five and a half years and I love the game. I play nearly every day. I have never before played a single MMORPG for this length of time. So, please do not interpret any of my remarks as anything but my attempt to make a great game even better.

    Thank you.

(I would like to add one very important issue with Cyrodiil. Only a few persons are continually monopolizing the Emperor position in Gray Host every month. Frankly, everyone knows that the reason they can do this is by boosting, a form of exploitation in the game. I strongly suggest that a timer be put on the Emperor position so that a person cannot hold the position again for, let's say, one year. Or, in the extreme, only once, period. I don't believe that the Emperor title was ever meant to be hoarded by only a few persons.)

Wonder if devs actually read all this )
Or at least parse it with AI to get an idea of the basic mood of community and the most problematic issues.

Thank you for this opportunity. Since stuck in combat was already mentioned, I have not included it in the list. I was unable to narrow down the paint points to five because I felt all of these were valid. These are not necessarily listed in order of importance.

    Bugs
    1. Cyrodiil keeps remaining flagged for several minutes after combat has ended and repairs have been completed - keeps are getting stuck in combat
    2. Lead RNG, especially West Weald
    3. Companion will not taunt Marauder Gothmau in IA and loses taunt on others repeatedly for short periods of time
    4. Break free and bash not registering
    5. Targeting issues

    Pain Points
    1. Companions being unlocked on each character
    3. Eidetic Memory not account wide
    4. Environmental features causing low frame rates even during gameplay
    5. Shortened guild listing times destroying economy
    6. Guild trader search has no “unknown” filter
    7. Furnishing plan drop rate in new zones too low to obtain enough plans to decorate a house

    Pain Points:
    • Cant view all group finder listings/search takes too long - If you are open to helping with a couple different categories, you need to click through every category AND every difficulty. Make an 'All' section where you can just see every listing or better yet make an alert in chat when a category you are interested in gets a new listing. The PVP section has too many separations and no one wants to spend time checking all of them.
    • Cant look at mail while dead. I have all the time in the world while I'm dead, I might as well check my mail.
    • Outift station needs more filters - you should be able to sort by features (leather, clothing, metal, bone, skull) The current preview of the items is way too small for you to make out what would fit together nicely. Also it would be nice if you could dye all of the preview icons to see what they would look like with your current dye.
    • Can't search for a guild by name if you want to join a specific guild.
    • Can't mark an item - If I have multiple sets I use for tanking, I want to mark them with a symbol. That way if i put my healer and my tank gear in my bank and swap to another character i can easily tell by the icon which role this gear is for.

    BUGS:
    • Can't view mail while auto-running
    • Scribed skills saved in different armory slots do not transfer over the scribed details
    • Group finder naming restrictions - 4 spaces is too harsh of a restriction when you just need to write a sentence to explain what you are doing
    • Companions spawning in when a group member leaves the instance interrupts the teleport process
    • Mail icon gets stuck on unread messages until you switch zones

    1. Stuck in combat.
    2. Stuck in que (dungeons).
    3. Deconstruction assistant Giladil the Ragpicker has to small personal space (while interacting my character runs to close to her)

    Pain Points

    1. Ballgroups in cyrodill - if you want to retain players in pvp, nerf those ballgroups, they are no fun for anyone but themselfs, they ruin the cyrodill pvp expierience. You bring many new players to pvp with whitestrakes mayhem, all this effort is lost when those players meet ballgroups.

    2. Lorebooks - make them obtainable via other sources after quest (for ex. account wide, or via furnishings), whenever I complete new content in ESO, instead of enjoying it I try hard to find every new lore book (still miss some of them, which is frustrating, especially for books which can be obtained only when you read an item from your inventory while doing the quest - you cannot access those books after that - even if you join a group with a player who is still doing the quest). The current method for adding some other locations for lore books to be obtainable after quest is not working (we get like 5 of those books a year?, and there are over 4000 lorebooks in the game)

    3. Lack of challenges in PvE Overland - add a optionable vet overland with better rewards

    4. Add an "unknown/uncollected" search filter for guild traders

    BUGS / ISSUES:
1: - Insane lag in PvP.

2: - Combat bug so you can never mount in PvP.

    PAIN POINTS:
1: - I play from the Middle East and have very high latency. To combat this issue, I press each skill three times fast, which usually equates to one cast, but sometimes two. The new NB stealth toggle is completely unusable to me because of it and I frequently go into stealth and accidentally back out. Please oh please go back to the way it was before... Perhaps just add ramping cost so it's not abused like before.

2: - Blocking is pretty broken in PvP. I would love to see a ramping block cost to prevent permatanks. Or even worse, a DK who can speck 100% into damage and just block cast to kill everything.

3: - Lightning heavy attacks not proccing AOE until the third tick is annoying. When fighting trash mobs, a single target frequently dies before the AOE tick. This completely shuts down the heavy attack and forces users to lose a global cooldown, sometimes two. Can the AOE portion be changed to the second tick? Or maybe lower the dmg by 33% and bring back AOE on every tick again?

4: - Shields and healing should be changed to max resource stats and damage should be based on max weapon or spell power. This would solve a lot of issues with things like unkillable Sorcs who have insane damage by just stacking maximum magicka instead of a balanced build. It would also help define healer roles and make them viable again.

I haven't really done much for a while except dailies, endeavours and event ticket activities, so these are only minor issues for me atm.

    Top bugs/issues

    1. Identical items, eg Treasure maps, glyphs and the like should be stackable.

    2. As already mentioned, certain wayshrines that you can't mount under, eg Shadowfen, West Weald.

    3. As already mentioned in at least one earlier post, trying to harvest a node directly beside another one, like for a survey, will fail. By the same token, some of the newer survey nodes have gone to the other extreme (looking at High Isle Blacksmith and Jewellery surveys).

    Pain points

    1. Make it easier to search for a guild please.

    2. The change to NB Shadowy Disguise now draining Magicka after using, even when not moving is pretty annoying - what's more annoying is that I have to dodgeroll to break it as well. I get that you're trying to stop gankers, but they're a small minority of the PVP playerbase. I used it to do a single IC daily every day, to earn Merits to buy runeboxes to sell but that change means I can't do said quest without coming completely out of stealth, leaving me vulnerable to gankers. I don't have the ping or reflexes to fight back, so I just don't do that content anymore. On a similar vein, I also no longer want to complete Heists or Black Sacraments if they're on the Endeavours. Playing NB stopped being fun after that change.

    3. About a year ago, something was changed in an update that means when I'm fighting using a controller I have to press skill buttons twice to get them to fire. I can press it once, interact with something like a container, then press the skill button again and it'll fire - so it's nothing to do with lag; it never happens when I use KB for fighting. Also the more recent "QOL" for controllers means that when I do swap weapons there's a hitch before it actually does swap. Kind of like the hitch you get if you summon your companion, mount and ride off - when they actually appear. I would love if that controller update (I'm sorry but I don't remember exactly what it was... maybe around the middle of the year) was a toggle rather than always on.

@ZOS_Kevin This is really, really trivial, but... why can't I change what platform I play on, in my forum profile? I've tried everything but the selection is greyed out. i haven't played on PS4 since the PS5 came out - and I moved to PC nearly four years ago!

    Two pain points.
    1. Please post the max number of players per campaign in cyro, and changes when they happen! The present state of speculation, is not good for anyone and hurting ZOS mor than anyone else.
    2. Update the campaign point system and the related buffs. The present system where the winner is decided by a few people when the server ar empty hurts cyro pvp. The same can be said about the buffs, dont buff the alliance that have more keeps and scrolls debuff them. Instead ginve them more ap.

    Top Bugs/Issues

Bug 1 - Skills not firing sometimes unless you mash the button 80 million times (is this related to server lag, maybe?). This also ESPECIALLY applies to potions not going off when you press up on the D-pad, desperately trying not to die, and then it uselessly activates while your dead body is on the ground.

Bug 2 - PS5 map cannot zoom in as close as the PS4 map could. Why?

Bug 3 - I know you said not to say it, but it bears repeating to really emphasize it - "stuck in combat"/"cannot mount while in combat" while our character is the very definition of the John Travolta Pulp Fiction "where is everybody" meme.gif.

Bug 4 - I'm really getting tired of my Nightblade's weapons glowing red. Please revert this change/bug/whatever it is. I feel like I gotta strip my main down to decorate a house or else the horrible red glow is ever-present throwing off the lighting.

Bug 5 - Probably not a bug, but please make treasure maps stackable. This bug/pain point became a great reminder during this Pan-Tamriel event that encourages digging up treasure maps for increased antiquity leads when you gotta basically hoard them in your mail in order to dig a lot of them during a play session... which is made even harder since stuff bought from guild traders now only exists for less than a week before your mail deletes it (oh, hey, look, another Pain Point).

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1 - This horrible Error 303 kicked to main title screen that is part of the months-long ongoing thread regarding server stability issues and became much more exacerbated for me personally ever since The Great Datacenter Meltdown of 2024.

Pain Point 2 - Please let us hide guild tabards. We want guild names displayed, but we would also like to see the outfits we have so carefully customized.

Pain Point 3 - Please create a furnishing bag similar to the crafting bag to store excess furnishings. OR increase the furnishing limit in houses/increase the storage limit in storage chests/let us deconstruct unwanted furnishings for a chance to get some furnishing mats back.

Pain Point 4 - Let us be able to search an "unknown" filter in guild stores for unknown motifs/recipes/furnishing plans.

Pain Point 5 - Taking 80 years to get into Cyrodiil or BGs or ToT because of queues, to then have to re-queue and/or get a deserter penalty when Error 303 boots you to the main title screen with no warning through no fault of your own or of your Internet Service Provider's.

For me these are the bugs.

    1. Lag/desync
    2. Stuck in combat
    3. Boss fights that reset
    4. Skills not firing and break frees not working
    5. Heavy attacks not firing, or missing entirely.

    Pain points.

    1. Non-combat transformed werewolf movement speed makes it impossible to maintain form while keeping up with a group of non-wolves.
    2. Werewolf tanking, no ability to block taunt, also due to the issues with heavy attacks not working makes taunting problematic at times.
    3. No diversity in visual appearance of werewolf players.
    4. Still no scribing skills useable by werewolf mains.
    5. Timer on the werewolf/vampire ult is not necessary, either remove the timer or allow ultimate generation while transformed.
    6. Mele damage should have a higher reward than ranged damage due to increased risk with so many AOE damage abilities that are in use, forcing many Mele players to stand right on the damage.

Bug 1 - Wayrest Blacksmith Delivery Crate target box is bad. I often pick up garbage weapons from rack that is behind it instead of interacting with crate.
Bug 2 - Companions should mirror or react to basic emotes
Bug 3 - WB's should not reset if a player that has done a large amount of damage is still in the WB's fight area. They shouldn't chase some lowbie passing through and then come back with full health.
Bug 4 - Mirri should not give negative rapport unless I actually harvest the cute little bugs. Just because it landed on my hand just as I was reaching for something else doesn't make me a monster.
Bug 5 - Trying to head west from Forsaken Stronghold - unable to clear mountains. There is a clear path here, but you get to a ledge with water below and you can't jump into it. You are then stuck on the ledge. This used to be a useful shortcut that quit working at some point.

    Top Pain Points
Pain Point 1 - Event tickets capped - let us save as many as we want
Pain Point 2 - Mount upgrades should be account wide
Pain Point 3 - Give us class changes
Pain Point 4 - Make jewelry crafting part of base game
Pain Point 5 - Trash mobs should not chase you and then run away as soon as you turn around to fight them. Just have them quit chasing us so far.

    1. Roll back the atrocious "environmental sustainability" changes or allow console users to opt into such choices.
    2. Stuck in combat. Why is this happening? Could we get an actual explanation?
    3. Cross-platform play (note: not cross-platform servers). Keep all the servers and their economies separate and non-transferable, but the player pool should be cross platform like every other modern MMORPG. (I wouldn't be surprised if the addons on the console were a prelude to this).
    4. Make crown store unlocks account wide. If someone spends money on one version of the game give them that cosmetic on any other version--even Diablo 4's devs have managed this and they're peak buffonery.
    5. Werewolf still sucks and vampire is even worse.

    Top Bugs/Issues

Bug 1 - Dsyncs/"roll backs" from leaps/things that throw you in the air (dk leap has been like this for... 5 years?)
Bug 2 - Permablock tanks - no one should be able to sustain being parsed on by 30 people
Bug 3 - 999+ & Rubberbanding (lots of work on this already but just putting it here for tracking purposes)
Bug 4 - Group finder buggy
    Bug 5 -

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1- Storage Issues for non ESO+ (or no longer ESO+). If you used to be an + sub and are no longer it's very difficult to use your bank/inventory. The second you take something out of your bank you're never going to get it to another toon if you need too. It's basically impossible to move gear around between toons without deleteing/selling a ton of matts because your inventory/bank is so full.. and if you're into housing then you're really screwed. I say this as someone who even has a guild bank I'm using as backup storage. It's tough.

Pain Point 2 - Getting back into Cyro after getting 999+ disco or getting back into the game in general. If you crash or get a disconnect you've got to be really careful on the timing of it. If you try to rush back into logging in you get hit with the 5 minute bug preventing you from logging in. However, if you wait too long then you get kicked out of cyro and have to sit in a super long queue (depending on the time/day).

Another issue is sometimes when you crash in cyro if its a big fight you're client is unable to load back in and you have to wait for that small window when you get put back behind the gate but if you wait too long then you get kicked from cyro.

    1. Bosses in dungeons/trials that are composed by multiple enemies tend to disappear and reset repeatedly before combat starts, the worst one in that scenario is the Cernunnon boss in Falkreath Hold which can reset in the middle of the fight when his necromancers resurrect.
    2. Heavyweight and Feline mounts use their running/sprinting animation while walking if their speed is maxed out + having the Gallop passive on PC. This leads to a very weird looking sliding animation, all the other mounts can walk just fine even with the upgrades.
    3. Some dungeons have ads that after aggroed, can remain stuck in place while still in combat with you, this leads to the entire group being stuck in combat and unable to use doors to progress, happens a lot with the crocodiles in Wayrest Sewers.
    4. When the crown store is open, for some reason it hides the last message on my chat.
    5. Sometimes your character can get stuck using heavy attacks even with no input to do so.
    Top Pain Points
    1. Not having a filter for guild stores to search only for recipes/motifs you don't have unlocked is a real pain, you end up wasting time diving into lists of things you don't need.
    2. Not being able to automatically stack things in a guild bank, this causes lots of space management for those who don't use addons.
    3. Not having a furnishing list/achievement based as we have with motifs, if I'm on an alternative character and find a furnishing plan, there's no way of knowing if I already have it unlocked on another character or not. Would be nice if just like the outfit menu, we had a furnishing menu where we can preview all the furnishings we have, even the unlocked ones.
    4. Not having a crown trading function in the game, this leads to a lot of people getting scammed and afraid of buying again, which in turn disencourages crown sellers from buying even more to sell more.
    5. Companions lack functions I feel they should have, an inventory to at least carry their own stuff would be a good start, I also don't like how we can only drop companion items if we have one with us, sometimes I don't want having a companion around but the chance of dropping an expensive purple item makes me feel forced to summon them.

Lead RNG, especially the lack of curation for sources that have multiple leads.

This is my biggest pain point right now. With West Weald and IA dropping an enormous variety of leads for furnishings, sets, styles, crafting stations etc etc, combined with infinitesimal chances and no curation, I don't even know how to begin grinding for furnishing antiquities. Top bugs / Issues:
    1. Skills not firing - most frequently noticed with ultimates
    2. Tales of Tribute randomly conceding when matchmaking (i.e. not even getting to the patron selection screen – straight to “you lose, please enjoy the penalty”)
    3. Break-free bug.
    4. Performance decreases (less fps, more crashes, lags etc.) the longer you are in a trial. This really hurts teams that are trying to prog final bosses in challenging trials as restarting greatly reduces the amount of time the team can spend practicing
    5. Eidetic Memory lorebooks not being available after locked areas are cleared. There are LB that folks cannot get because they did not find them through an area that they did not know was going to be perma locked, or because they were new and did not understand they were collectibles
    6. Bonus: PvE combat status preventing interaction with doors, wayshrines, etc. You teach new players they can run from mobs, only to prevent their escape and allowing the mobs to catch up.

    Top Pain Points
    1. Troll sites in Cyro (i.e. where someone can siege a keep, but siege within the keep cannot defend (i.e hills behind a keep, from RSS towers, etc)
    2. Reduction of defense bonus gains when a keep unflags but a group is still inside. We are still defending!
    3. Companions getting in the way of…well…everything. And while we at it – can we have a “no chatter” option. I no longer play with dialog because of their repetitive and annoying “banter”
    4. Inability to search by name in guild finder
    5. The gutting of PvE mag toons for end game content. I play a fantasy game, I want the option to cast my spells with a staff not brawl with ghosts with daggers and greatswords.
    6. Bonus: The incomplete state of hybridization

    Top Bugs

1: Mobs/bosses having a leash, but once outside their leash range, not returning to their spot until after hitting a player or being hit by a player.
2: Stuck in combat with either a mob that is supposed to be leashed, or a mob that is "invisible" (i.e. falling through the world).
3: Companions - why can I hear other people's companions, especially if those people aren't in a group with me?
4: Looting/harvesting corpses or nodes can be inconsistent.
5: Bosses - be they delve bosses, world bosses, trial bosses, etc. - can despawn randomly for no reason. Sometimes it's right at start of a fight, other times a player dies, but other players are engaged in combat with same boss and yet boss despawns/resets despite being well within leash range and other 2 people having high threat values.

    Top Pain Points

1: A lot of players approach ESO as if it's just another MMO, and yet there is almost zero knowledge transfer from other MMOs to here. Leads to things where a world boss that can be downed by 3 people ends up requiring 6 people to down cos the world boss has just one mechanic - block his heavy attack to live - and yet 5 people don't realize that blocking, bashing, etc. is a damn near requirement in this game. This has only gotten worse in recent days thanks to the combination of ESO being on sale and the Pan-Tamriel event inviting newbies who MAYBE shouldn't have rushed through the tutorial to take on world bosses without even a tenth of a clue as to how ESO combat works.
2: The guild trader idea, while noble, needs to go. Especially since I am not sure if half of the guilds acquiring traders are even classified as actual trading guilds. While I know we used to laugh at people requesting a centralized Auction House - to the point where we combined the term "Auction House" with the phrase "beating a dead horse" to make the phrase "Auction Horse" - that was back when the game wasn't in a content drought, trading guilds were aplenty, and there was fierce competition for guild traders. For the sake of the game economy's health - and for many other reasons - create a centralized auction house and return the guild trader idea to it's home planet. You don't even need to get rid of the guild trader NPCs themselves, they could turn into auction house points, and then that way the bank room can be used as a personal bank and guild bank space.
3: While on the topic of guilds, why is ESO practically the only MMO that doesn't have a "Decline all guild invites" and "Decline all friend/trade requests" feature already? The bones for both are already there with the "Decline all duel requests" feature. I see a ton of people complain about some guilds spamming invites, and while the ignore list is a great thing, you can only ignore a maximum of 100 accounts - so if there are 10 people in one guild, 10 people in another guild, and 10 people in another guild spamming invites - you've already used up 30% of your ignore list. And when you report a gold seller, it automatically places the person on your ignore list - so if you had 50 people reported for gold selling, you have even less room on your ignore list unless you clean it out regularly (and yes, gold sellers haven't been seen lately, but that's only thanks to the Director's Letter scaring them off and that doesn't mean they won't return in the future, especially if future updates to ESO - or another black swan event like WoW dropping the ball with BFA and SL leading to a player exodus a few years back ends up happening - show the gold sellers they jumped ship too quickly). Add these features in already, and solve three problems - people not wanting to use the ignore list, guilds having to explain how to leave guilds over and over, and Zeni CS tearing their hair out over the hundredth complaint of the day about guilds using bots/automation and/or using alt accounts to circumvent blocks, when it's already been roundly proven a dozen times that month that the guild has nothing that violates the TOS/EULA (unethical, perhaps, but nothing that breaks the rules).
4: Crafting materials - too many. I know ESO Plus is nice in that you get a craft bag, but even then there is too many crafting materials in this game. Condense CP crafting materials.
5: Inventory clutter in general. Enough said, I hope.
If you can't handle the heat...stay out of the kitchen!

    Bugs:

    1) Stuck in combat. Hear me out though: I know you guys know about it, but if it's too hard to "fix" it, how about incooperating workarounds?
Not sure of the team is aware of that, but sometimes the "Stuck in Combat bug" is so bad, that even after you died and you respawn at the beginning, you can't even get out of Cyrodiil via the Wayshrine, because you are still stuck in combat.

A workaround which would make it much more bearable would be, if the "combat" gets reset when you die. That way you don't have to restart the game or stuff like that to get rid of it.

Another note not sure if the Team is aware of that: The "get me unstuck" function is completely useless in Cyrodiil, because most time you do get stuck, you are also in combat and during that you can't get unstuck.

I think the "get me unstuck" function should work ALL THE TIME, not just when you are not in combat.

    2) When you TP to IC or Cyrodiil and during it you are in combat, you often time can't interact with things. The only workaround for it is to use reloadui (repro on PC / XBOX)

    3) The water / puddle in the outer of BM and around the Keep itself is bugged for years at this point. You often times get stuck in there and have no way to get out.

    4) If you streak inside of Drake or around of drake, you get teleported back to the beginning. I already openend a thread with detailed information about it here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/670938/please-fix-longstanding-cyrodiil-bug#latest

    5) Fix the spawn points of Volendrung. As can be seen on the map on UESP (https://en.uesp.net/wiki/File:ON-map-artifact_spawns.png) there are plenty of spawn points of Volendrung. However in reality it only spawns at one of 3 locations on each alliance.

    6) When your Alliance is locked 3 bars and you go into a delve in Cyrodiil for the buff, often times you can't get back into Cyrodiil, because the "instance is full". Especially during the Midyear Mayham it's really annoying, because you just get stuck in a delve.

    7) Obviously skills often times not firing in cyrodiil, but I do hope that gets improved after the cyro test in march etc.

    Pain Points

    1) We need stackable transmuation crystals or just up the limit of the crystals you can take. I play Cyrodiil on a daily basis and all my chars full of the transmutation crystals.

    2) Please come up with ideas to balance Cyrodiil on low populated Servers like Xbox EU. When one Alliance is locked with 3 bars, emp and all scrolls, and the other alliance just got 1 bar each, it's impossible to have a great time. Cyrodiil is made for 3 bars each, thats when it's best.
But most of the times that's not the case. That leads to night / day capping and stuff like that. One idea would be to maybe dont allow the hammer to spawn for the dominant alliance and only the other alliances could pick it up. Another idea would be that regarding on the current population there are certain buffs and debuffs active.

    3) Try to rethink how resources work in Cyrodiil. Usually people just run around the tower all the time. How about differentiate the resources a bit more, so we still have towers on certain resources but not all of them. Maybe get a bit inspired from battlegrounds so you have some other fight dynamics on different resources.

    4) Let us zoom in more on the map, just as we used to be able to on older Consoles. On the newer ones you can't zoom in as much as you could before.

    5) Add an option to hide the tabard if you are not wearing a costume, but people can still see it above your name

    6) Save the costume and mount to the build in the armory system.

    7) lower the amount of events. At the beginning when I was first new I really liked them a lot, but now it just feels like there is an event on going every other week. I think events should be special. The small events like BG weekend is fine, because you just join if you want to, but with the "big" events, you feel like you have to for the tickets and stuff. But it's not really fun anymore.
Just have a few events during the year like: midyear mayham, halloween, new year, jester event and maybe 1 more and thats it for the whole year. The rest there will still be the mini events and golden pursuits and stuff.

    Top Bugs/Issues

Bug 1: When server comms is slow, the game freezes, often this comes across as general lag and stuttering, but recently the way the client handles it doesn't appear to be to good - freezing rather waiting nicely. There's a whole thread on this so I won't go into the analysis into wait queues, blocking I/O etc. that discussed there. It's interesting that this only appears to happed during peak hours (for me), and the game works fine say in the morning.

Bug 2: There's still occasions where desync appears to be an issue - skills not going off, or going off and animating, but having no effect. Addons that show the timers on the skill bar sometimes don't show the timer, or more likely, do show the timer even tho the server didn't do anything and the skill needs to be fired again. The same appears to happen with some synergies.

Bug 3: There's still drops in FPS on the mirror room in the boss encounter in lucent citadel. Not as bad as previously, but I still here people complaining, then dying, and the group wiping because we've lost a tank or healer.

Bug 4: Sweetrolls still spawn under the floor in the side-game encounter with the goat/shepherd.

Bug 5: That Grim Focus perma glow - it's a bug, we all know it. Again, there's a whole thread on this also, so I won't repeat the arguments here. An easy fix, surely, is to remove it completely, and let people apply it with a skill style.

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1: Companions really do like to stand in stupid, then complain they need healing, then die. I notice much of the AOE no longer affects companions - perhaps that's easier than making them more intelligent. Either way, do it for all AOEs in all encounters, or make them roll out of it. The same applies to interrupts.

Pain Point 2: Combat that bugs out, or where you get stuck in the wall. I'd put this higher, but over recent updates it seems to be getting better, so I think something is perhaps being done on this already. That said, like the companion AOE, please do a review and make sure all locations/encounters are fixed.

Pain Point 3: There's no wall and structural furnishing for the base game houses. It would be nice if, as part of general zone refreshes that are planned, if the housing components for the base game zones could be made available.

Pain Point 4: The IA style pages are locked behind classes. Let us use the styles on any class please - why does it matter?

Pain Point 5: No ability to stack bank items in guild banks. The amount of time I loose to taking everything out, stacking them in the inventory, only to push them back into the guild back - please let us do this on the server, we can in our own banks, our own inventory, etc.

None that I can think of that are truly an issue for what I play.

    Pain Points
    1. The Writing. The main story writing in this game is generic and dull, especially these past few years. It's sad when Zerith-Var's story and dialogue feels way better crafted than the entire 10-year Anniversary chapter.
    2. Crown Store Prices. I cannot believe it is expected of players to pay $50-120 (The cost of an entire game and DLCs) for something as benign as an armor motif, or a banker assistant, or an in-game house.
    3. Crown Store Limited Times. On the note of crown store items, it's unappreciated for the items that exist within the game's files (that other players currently use even) to only be available for purchase for a limited time. They shouldn't show up once every couple of years, they should be always available, while still keeping players interested in what more is being newly made and added. So, once those prices get lowered, if you actually put everything in the store at once we can freely browse and shop for what we want at will.
    4. Does not play like an Elder Scrolls Game. I already know the team is working on adding more dialogue and story options, which is a quintessential aspect of the franchise. Keep up those types of efforts please, and to greater scale.
    5. Does not look like an Elder Scrolls Game. This is such a spoken and tired topic that there's only one thing I should have to say to get the point across: Flashy gear and mounts.

My focus is going to be on the quality of life / pain points.

    1. Mini map. Yes, there is the compass at the top but that can be useless and overwhelming at the same time. As a person spins around there are a lot of symbols that come especially for someone new to the game so it is information overload. It is useless as you may end up off the path thinking you are heading in the correct direction until you are not. A mini-map would allow us to be able to see we are on the correct path.

    2. Allow stacking of items in the guild bank. Maybe this can be done by officers or above, but I have seen where there are multiple of the same item because different people put them in the bank. This takes up space and is annoying as you scan through the bank. Allow any user with guild bank access to do this. This could be considered a bug to since adding an item to the guild bank of something that already exists should just stack.

    3. Stackable treasure maps. The same map can't even be in your inventory. That is annoying as you have to get the chest, run back to a bank to get the same map to retrieve it again.

    4. When giving costumes, make sure they are either gender neutral or have a variant of each. The one in the current pursuit looked more like one for a female character than a male. I was looking forward to earning until I tried it on my char and thought it looked a bit too female for my taste on my male char.

    5. Increase the drop rate on companion gear. Currently I think all tiers are 5-10%. I spent a few hours (3+) cycling through anchors one day to only get 4 pieces of companion gear (2 blue and 2 gear I think). I got a crap ton of rings and necklaces though. Make green a 25% drop, blue 20%, and purple 15%. Had the same issue when I did a cycle on delves for a few hours one day.

    6. Batter way to find out what guild traders have for consoles. Maybe with the upcoming release, someone will be able to write an add-on to access the console (Xbox in particular) API to be able to search while I am not in game. I try to check the major cities and then some of the other traders who are "hidden" along the road and in outlaw areas.

    7. Focus on story for new players. As a newer player, I want to focus on the story, but with events, dungeons, special skills (scrying, scribing, etc.) I am running all over the map to find treasure chests or doing scryings before they expire. Find a way to balance events for those who are end game, those willing to do anything not following the story, and those who want to focus on the story.

    Thanks for listening.

One other thing. Dungeon quests for newer players. I have said in group chat to people I need the quest for the dungeon asking if we could take it slow so I could learn. Instead, they have either ignored the message running ahead forcing to me to get pulled into battle while I am trying to do parts of the quest. Or prompting me to get booted from the dungeon. I would say try to group similar level or CP together, but not sure that would work as the person may already have the dungeon quest complete.

I forgot a pain point - timers on skills seem to track buffs not the skill, so if another player in a group apply the same buff you lose your skill timer on your bar

    1. Text blanking from the chat input box whenever you click outside of it or open a menu. I think this is known already, but no fix for it yet.
    2. I get an error whenever I try to use a consumable or container in my inventory by hovering over it and pressing E. See the code block below. I don't know if an addon is causing it, 'cuz the error is all base game stuff. It's been happening for years now. Double-click works fine.
    3. (I'll edit this if I think of more.)

    Here's the error I get:
/EsoUI/Ingame/Inventory/InventorySlot.lua:1195: Attempt to access a private function 'UseItem' from insecure code. The callstack became untrusted 1 stack frame(s) from the top.

    Pain Points
    1. We need a base game feature akin to Cadwell's Almanac for your first alliance. Something to guide players on the "proper" order for their alliance's storyline, plus the Main Quest, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Undaunted. Currently the MQ/FG/MG quests get shoved in your face as soon as you're done with one, making it seem like they're meant to be done all at once.
    2. If an account is banned permanently (like for spamming, gold selling, etc.), please automatically remove them from my block list.
    3. Some indicator that you're in combat outside of a menu would help a lot. I currently use an addon for this that highlights the compass in red, which is clear but unobtrusive. Maybe a halo around the crosshair?
    4. Archive guild applications so GMs/officers can review them. Currently one guild I do recruitment for is screenshotting apps and sharing them in Discord, which is cumbersome and easy to forget.
    5. The CP160 material requirements are a serious hinderance to new and non-Plus players. We're well past the point where we'd want to prevent players from having access to VR16 gear on day one.
