How does the GeForce lan mission work?

For me, it's saying that the reward is available in my app (showing above previously earned and redeemed rewards), but then when I click in there's not actually a code to be found. The original promotion did mention that rewards might be sent out at or around the 9th so maybe wait it out a couple of days? Not exactly helpful for the limited number of promotions though....

I had ESO on Epic, so, I installed it via my Epic account. Played my baby toon for about 2 hours.. and I got a notification that the 50 minutes of play had been done. Received my code.

So, it sounds like even though you have an ESO account, you do not get it if its not via Steam or Epic.

Anyways if it doesen't work for a lot of people it might be easier to just grant the mount to everyone

In the software application:

Redeem links you to a webpage:

Log in to Elder Scrolls Online game... once logged in go straight to the crown store and push the T key to Redeem the reward code:

The final product

Make sure that you open the launcher using the Nvidia app.

That is what I did and I had no problems getting the mount.. You will need to wait at least an hour or two for the redeem to become available and for some reason.. you will need to close Nvidia software.. not sure why but you have to.

PS... you will need to play the game for 50 mins to be eligible for the reward... I played ESO for 2 hours.

Just to clarify; Did the people that did get the reward code actually stream their 50 minutes? Or just play for 50 minutes without streaming but launching the game from the Nvidia app?

I've played for over an hour but no redeemable rewards as of yet. Wondering if I did it wrong.

Did this event actually end on the 5th of January then?

Also, is the mount reward given out purely on a first come first served basis, so after the limited stock of mounts were given away, there was no point in participating in the LAN event?

It states on the Roadmap for January that this LAN event will run from 4rth through to the 11th of January:

And on the GeForce Now / NVIDIA site it states that the event starts on January 5th:

But folk are saying that NVIDIA CS are stating that the mount reward has reached it's number limit, so no more rewards are available for participants to claim.

So it started on the 5th and they ran out of reward allocations on the 5th. Sheesh.

I am confused.

Yup, playing through steam, did the whole Geforce Now thing for an hour, didn't get anything.

Maybe try temporarily changing your default browser to another, and make sure in that browser you aren't blocking pop ups or redirects when you click that link

Same here. It's defo not just a 'need to own it through steam' thing cause that's not even working...

At this point ZOS devs just need to give it to everyone in the crown store locked behind a basic achievement or something cause it ain't working.

I've gone through ESO support and Nvidia and after a form reply about how to redeem.... nothing. Still not showing for me on the Nvidia app. Have tried launching, relaunching, /dancekhajiit but nothing still.

This one is very sad.

Aaaah okay. So I had updated my drivers with the NVIDIA app right as this was starting and hadn't rebooted yet. Did a reboot and it opened the web page with the "redeem" button so have my mount! Play via steam, so the codes thing is definitely some BS. If you've done a driver update for NVIDIA recently and it's not working you might try rebooting? Not sure if that will help anyone else having a problem.

I spent at least 50 minutes messing with various Nvidia apps last night and several hours playing with different app versions open. Sat in the lan queue to confirm it would force me to log in to steam or epic. I've gone above and beyond the requirements but I don't know the special combo at this point.

Some people are saying you have to have steam, some say you don't. Unfortunately posts on reddit etc saying it works aren't giving any instructions
Frustrating.

I think im screwed, I got the Fallout76 reward even I was playing ESO... The Nvidia support told me the mount codes are out. First come first served and so on. This was on the first day of that LAN event...plenty of people have got the code after me. I have been trying to trigger the reward again but do not seem to work.

There is only the option to open GeForce Now to run the game...

Do you have a Steam of Epic version? It looks like NVIDIA app does not detect if you own it by other means.
If you do own it from Steam/Epic you should see something like on the pic below:

FYI Kevin I contacted ZOS customer support and was told that everyone must have a Nvidia GTX series 10 or higher GPU and the only apps listed were the Nividia App or the GeForce Experience.

The GeForce Now angle does not work and is not supported. SO this promo is ONLY for people with Nvidia GPUs.
