Hey all, quick update here on this promotion.
- Those using the standalone ESO Client - We know this is frustrating, so thank you for hanging in there while we continue conversations with NVIDIA. We have been working with NVIDIA to resolve issues here and they believe they may have a fix. We are waiting for an update here. Please submit a CS ticket for your code if you have an NVIDIA graphics card and attempted the promo.
- Steam and Epic players - New codes will be uploaded tomorrow afternoon (Jan.9). Please check your NVIDIA App then. If you still do not see a code after that point, please let us know and place a ticket. We will work with you to resolve this.
Thank you for the info for those players who have Nvidia cards.
For those who don't, is streaming via NOW still a viable way to earn this promotion, as advertised in the ESO announcement? Nvidia has been a bit misleading listing this under the NOW rewards page and addressing the notices to NOW subscribers, but then also saying in the fine print that the promo requires an Nvidia card on a PC, whereas NOW is accessible on a greater range of hardware. It seems that there is some conflicting messaging here.
We will need to check in on this to confirm. Let me follow up with the team and see if they can provide any clarity here.
Thank you for the acknowledgment and for checking on this! Much appreciated.
I am Sangeeta and your case was referred to me.
I understand you are looking to receive the LAN50 rewards.
Please be informed that this rewards is not provided to all the players. This rewards are provided to random selected users on first come first serve basis. If you are one of the selected player then the reward would automatically show in your account.
I am sorry to inform you that as it doesnot show that means you are not a selected user.

I got a reply from Bethesda customer support regarding my ticket, telling me to get in touch with NVIDIA. Based on what @ZOS_Kevin said, could Bethesda also grant the mount if enough evidence was given regarding eligibility? Because that is what I thought, and yet Costumer support (Bethesda) they have not clear with any of that rather than explaining again the steps something I did, I do own a Geforce card and I launched the game from the panel I played more than 50m and yet I didn't get the reward

So just to confirm:
1. No NVIDIA hardware is required in order to obtain this promotional reward.
2. Players who do not have any NVIDIA hardware can obtain the elk mount via streaming ESO via the GeForce Now app.
Is that right?

1. You can skip the nvidia hardware if you stream through GeForce Experience if you don't you have to have it. Unless Zos support gives the elk to anyone arbitrarily without checking their gpu's.
2. Basically yes.

Oh ok. I thought GeForce Experience/NVIDIA app was only compatible with NVIDIA graphics cards. GeForce Now doesn't require any NVIDIA hardware since you don't even need a PC to use it (can use your mobile phone) so if the promo works with GeForce Now and without the need for any NVIDIA hardware as well, then the promo will be open to all players, regardless of what platform they play on, so console players for example.
I agree it has been a bit of a mess.
I have my Elk, but hate to see others losing out.
I hope they add this Elk to a future golden pursuit or daily login. It is ZOS's digital property after all, so they can dish it out as and when they care to.

No worries. Totally a team effort and thanks goes to our customer services and program manager for working to resolve this behind the scenes. Thank you (all of you) for flagging so we could work with NVIDIA to resolve this.

GeForce NOW works on a greater variety of hardware, but you do need to own the game through Epic or Steam in order to use NOW. Just owning it on console or through the native client is not recognized. (Kevin got Nvidia to fix their other app - the one that requires Nvidia hardware - to recognize the native client, but NOW still requires Steam or Epic.)
FWIW, playing through the Nvidia app (with the required Nvidia hardware) produced a code immediately. (This went to my partner.) Streaming NOW for a straight hour yesterday (for myself) resulted in no acknowledgment, code, or promise of a code. I do not think Nvidia intends NOW to work, based on their wording in their own fine print. But ZOS has officially stated it should, so I will file a ticket with them if I don’t get anything from Nvidia.
Hi All, for those using the individual ESO Client, NVIDIA has patched the NVIDIA App and is noting things should be working for as intended now. Here are the steps to follow:
- Close ESO if you are playing.
- Close and restart the NVIDIA App (Note: NOT GeForce NOW. You need to use the NVIDIA App)
- NVIDIA App --> Settings --> SCAN NOW to pick up your games.
- You will now see ESO in the Graphics tab with all other games.
Just a note, with this patch to the NVIDIA app, the timer may reset, so you may have to play the 50 minutes again to get the mount.
Those playing on Steam or Epic, our previous post has not changed. New codes will be uploaded tomorrow afternoon (Jan.9). Please check your NVIDIA App then. If you still do not see a code after that point, please let us know and place a ticket. We will work with you to resolve this.
Again, please let us know if you run into issues, we can work with our teams to troubleshoot if that is the case. Thanks again, all.

I see. So sadly still just for the PC players then.
Let's hope the Elk makes a return further down the line for all. It's a nice mount imho.
And GeForce Now never did work for me either. Only the NVIDIA app worked.
If it does work via GeForce Now, without the need for any NVIDIA hardware (hard to see how this would be the case however), and PC players who have purchased the game via Steam or EPIC can access the promotion (without any NVIDIA hardware - because no NVIDIA hardware is technically required to access GeForce Now and play ESO via Steam or EPIC), then this has become a Steam/EPIC/PC promotion, every bit as much as a just a straight up NVIDIA one . I am just not sure how NVIDIA would allow that.
As such I feel that ZOS should be stating categorically that this promotion needs NVIDIA hardware to access.
Has anyone actually managed to get the promo via GeForce Now?
