How does the GeForce lan mission work?

    There is a way to get the mount for people who bought the game through the store. Move the steam64_api.dll file from the zenimax game client folder and this will enable the Nvidia app to find your ESO launcher. Click play from nVidia app. This will open the eso launcher. Put the dll back in the folder and click play on the launcher, this will launch eso. Click play once more in Nvidia app and this will show the game as "running" on the launcher. Play for an hour and the redeem code should get added eventually. It worked for me and I purchased the game through eso website.

    Do you have a Steam of Epic version? It looks like NVIDIA app does not detect if you own it by other means.

    I have the Steam version.

    I could not get ESO to show up there on the "Library" bar in the NVIDIA app (even after refreshing and running the app as an admin - the Library section refused to show up most of the games in my Steam Library - including ESO). I was however able to select "See All" further along in the "Library" bar in the NVIDIA app which then automatically put me into the "Graphics" menu (for whatever reason - who knows), from where I was finally able to use the small three dot menu in the upper right corner to select "Play" and launch the game.

    Fantastic UX design. NOT. :p

    Pretty sure that NVIDIA app just switched over to my Steam app and ran it from there.

    I have no idea why half my Steam Library is missing from the NVIDIA app Library menu.

    We've escalated with NVIDIA. There should be more codes. But make sure to place a ticket with us if you are concerned. We just spoke to customer service and they are working through tickets for the mount.

    The announcement claims I can use GeForce Now but I was told by ZOS Customer Service that I must have an Nvidia GPU. Which is it?

    Hello. Are there plans to offer this later for all of us who do not use Steam or Epic Games to play ESO? It's a nice promotion for everyone who can get it... but I don't want to connect my ESO account to those services. Either way, thanks to ZoS for giving people a free mount.

    When putting in a ticket, how does one evidence that they played for a continuous 50 minutes via GeForce Now (nevermind I found this), and/or via Steam launched through the NVIDIA app, and that NVIDIA was the GPU used??

    Ah nm, I restarted the computer and there was my reward in the Redeem menu in the NVIDIA app.

    Not sure if it was launching the game via the NVIDIA app and playing for a further hour that fixed things (I do use a NVIDIA GPU) or if it was purely a time thing. Nothing appeared after just streaming the game via GeForce Now app, but again, it could just have been a time/restart computer (and thus all apps) thing.

    Good luck to others still waiting to get their reward. I only attempted to go for the reward as of 13.00 today, so there are definitely reward codes left.

    If you go into the side bar of the Nvidia app under "system" and then "My rig", you can screen grab the gfx card part.

    I also showed the play option for ESO, so they could see I was accessing it via the app.

    Thank you for that update! The only thing that I had to do extra was go to GeForce Rewards and enable Opt-in to GeForce Rewards.
