Just to make it clear for everyone who think that some of us are jealous. We're not jealous about the compensation itself ... It just feels "unfair" towards everyone who's not getting the 16k endeavors cause they are equivalent to around 500 bucks ... it is unfair cause some of us have to save up those endeavors for a whole year to get that radiant apex mount and some people are getting it for free cause they were banned for a few days ... I'm not saying it's ok that they got banned but the compensation of all the style pages with that awful drop rate and the boxes they got should have been enough ... the endeavor compensation is just going to cause a big problem in the community now cause guess what ... everyone who's not getting them are just going to feel "less worthy" cause they're not getting rewarded with them ... I'm not trying to cause a problem here ... just stating a fact and my opinion about it and if some people disagree with it ... well not my fault ... I'm happy for all of you for getting endeavors but you guys also gotta keep it in mind what I said above about those who didn't get it.

Yeah, so you want to extend that policy? This one of reason that we made some rage statements and it looks that worked. So maybe instead of ruining this, try to support this new, because it would be nice to have it as new standard for occassions like this, not only one time action.

The thing is, ZoS won't do this again. The only reason they're doing it now is because the bad coverage they got on literally every gaming website.

It's THIS. Do you realize what actually happened here? It's not about downtime. It's not about getting accounts locked. The PTS was overwriting the LIVE SERVER for these players, the most dedicated, hard-core, influencing players in the game. If they deleted a toon on PTS, it was deleted on Live. Yes, they were able to roll it back, but can you imagine what that would have felt like? What if they hadn't been able to roll it back, or backtrack the changes?

This is about TRUST, and luring people back to PTS. It has nothing whatsoever to do with those of us who weren't affected.

It was a big screw up (during the 10 year anniversary celebration, no less). So, the compensation had to match the issue. I was not affected, but I'm happy for those that get these items as an apology.

So no, the compensation is definitely not too "strong".

The event is extended, right? So, the lost playtime for the unaffected accounts is compensated.

I assume you're joking when you compare a couple hours of server downtime with a week of not even having an account and for some people wondering if they'll even still have one at the end or if their main characters are going to be gone when they do get it back. I believe they meant that you would want an apology from ZOS if you were banned, not that you need to apologize.

I think that we were compensated for the PC NA downtime with the extension and seals (yeah, it sucked, I was looking forward to playing that evening too). The style page drop rates are a separate issue I don’t think many disagree with you on.

@DerAlleinTiger it's a tough question cause if you roll back the whole thing to a certain point of time everyone would have lost everything ... but doing that would be the "fairest" thing and then giving everyone the items from the event would be the perfect compensation for it
