Isn't the compensation too strong?

It’s not relevant how long it would take you to earn the seals or whether your RNG has been good for the style pages. If your account was not locked, it has NOTHING to do with you except to be happy that ZOS took this huge error seriously and is working to make things right with their customers. Your seals and style pages are unaffected, unchanged in value. It’s an apology, a gesture of goodwill, not merely replacing something lost (which would be impossible to do perfectly anyway).

@ZOS_GinaBruno This is a serious question. From what I've seen all the people who haven't needed a rollback are already back. So most people lost access for an extra day. As a reminder the servers were down Monday. Lots of people lost their endeavors, tickets and boxes from Monday and we got 200 tickets. For an extra 24 hour lock people got all that other stuff? What about all the other incorrect bans in the past? When you banned tons of people for an addon in PVP back in 2022 or whatever for WEEKS all we got was an apology on the forums. Are people effected by that going to retroactively get like 160,000 endeavors? 6 months of ESO+? Not to mention the endeavor bug and everything else. This game has been a mess for years and usually you just ignore us. I can't count how many times you have promised better communication to return to hiding by the next week.

It's not random lol it's compensation for getting locked out of our accounts for trying to contribute to the game.

I would def take the grind than still not being able to log in and probably have a trifecta achievement being yeeted away by the reroll to April 25 at 9:59am

Don't get me wrong the drop rates are extremly silly and they should raise them for the last days of the event but that was ZOS decision not ours

I said to go ahead and give these style pages to those that were locked out from playing. But the rest of us are having it pretty bad trying to get these and we should be considered, too.

What would it hurt to just increase the drop rate for the rest of the event? Who would be hurt by that?

This is an excellent point. We weren't able to play for most of the day because of server down time. Where are our style pages?

Well our ban had nothing to do with the event either which is why our compensation goes beyond what the event would have given.

To your other point... you're literally getting 200 seals of endeavor for that day. Everyone is. So there's your endeavors.

This isn’t a random giveaway but compensation for those who were (and some still are) locked out of their accounts for no wrongdoing. How much did those players lose out on in materials, motifs, and less quantifiable things? It is impossible to exactly compensate and I would much rather see ZOS do more than less.

Sure, I’d like some of the things in the reward package, but others getting it takes nothing from me. And I’m glad ZOS is taking care of players this way (yes, there are other things that ZOS should fix or should have handled better, but that is an argument to do better elsewhere and should not be an argument to do worse here).

Lol, it's 72 hours already and still don't see end. NA server lost also monday, so they lost already 4 days, at very best it will unlocked tomorrow so it's 5 days minimum, but there is quite big chance that we will hear that it will be unlocked after weekend, so it may be full week or even longer.

So don't spread misinformation...

You are getting 200 extra endeavors for that missed day. Everyone on PC NA is.

That’s a different topic. I think the style pages should have dropped unbound but been available bound for tickets.

But as to them being part of the compensation, it makes sense to me so that players can focus on getting the purple boxes they missed out on and not worry about the style pages. Their getting the pages doesn’t diminish the odds for the rest of us.

We weren't able to play because our servers were taken down. We lost out on play time that we may have gotten some pages. Why aren't we being compensated for the time we were unable to play, too?

The generous compensation is pretty cool, for those who got it. I just wish they did something for all of us who had endless problems since Update 41. I lost a little over a week of playtime where I couldn't stay logged in for more than a few seconds, over 20 hours researching, troubleshooting, reinstalling, etc, before the help desk found a fix. Also during the anniversary event with all it's rewards. So I'm glad these people are getting compensated, but something for everyone else hit by U41 would be nice.

Compensation is fine as it is.

Could have steped the extra mile by demanding Stone eagle aerie (if you see this ZOS wink wink)
But tbf, that's probably the biggest mistake they've ever done, hence the biggest compensation they've give.
The thread just shows that people do not mind themselves and would rather protest about others for no reason...

The downtime was compensated for with the extra 200 seals and two days of the event. (I’m not arguing with you about the drop-rate and additionally I don’t like the move to more rewards increasingly being account bound, but that’s another topic. And I do hope you get the style pages you’re after without too much more grinding! It was such a relief when the Ul’vor style page finally dropped for me, I could hardly believe it!)

Wow jealous much? These players have been locked out of their accounts and some still are! They deserve this compensation. Be glad you've at least been able to farm this event.

I'm a console player. I wasn't affected one bit by the PTS debacle. I'm still happy ZOS went above and beyond for most of the players that were affected.

4 days and still counting, but I get your point. I'm sure a lot of people would trade places, I just personally wouldn't.

But the fact that many people *would* trade places likely means they achieved the objectives behind it.

I know about a dozen people that returned from it yesterday. So, yes, most people returned. The only ones who don't seem to be back are ones who needed a roll back. I've been banned for 3 weeks before for a false flag. You want to know what they gave us? Nothing.
