I don't need to do it more than once. If I unlock all the same trophies on the PS5 list, I won't go back to the PS4 version.
Please don't suggest the fix is added to the crown store, we all know if it goes that way it won't be free!
(Sorry if this was asked and answered.)
Did this happen with the Xbox version too? Or did they figure out a way to transfer them there…

Nah, both lists should sync like in other games.
If you earn 1 trophy at the ps5 version it should also pop on ps4 and the other way around.
Nothing should have to be done twice.
ZoS if you do this, I will worship you guys forever!
Remember the most important stuff: emperor and fisherman should not be done twice. Those are too difficult and too time consuming!

While ESO does not currently allow sharing trophies from PS4 to PS5, we have read all of the comments and concerns in this thread. We are looking into alternatives for this feature and will let you know if we are able to do an import of trophies in the future. Thank you for your feedback!

Don't understand me wrong, I am glad they are doing something but until it's fixed, I can't get myself to play. My ESO+ is pretty much wasted....
As customer, you seem always to have the short straw here.

Honestly, being generous, I'd expect a fix by the Q3 Dungeon DLC. That's over 2 months. Should be plenty of time.

I hope it's faster but if they really manage to do it then I can wait. Break time
Time to plat rdr2

I only say that because that's the next group of trophies coming up. I'm just working off the assumption that other people downgraded back to PS4 for the Blackwood trophies, like me.

I only have a problem with this if they don't count towards my score. If they both count toward my score, thats a bonus.

They do count towards your score but do you know the emperor and fisherman trophy? If not, google them and say again that you have no problem 😛 only 100-200 hours.
Or maybe you feel like clearing and collecting everything twice? Only ~100 hours x 2

Let me add more. Grind mage guild again, learn all jewellery traits again, play all trials again, play all arenas again on normal and vet
Fun right

On a new character because the one you've always done it on won't be able to earn the trophies again

Wait, you lose your crafter in the ps5 update, like they have to learn traits again? And guild progress, like if u now have mages guild open on one char, you can't no longer purchase it for another char in crown store?
After giving this some more thought, I think the initial reasoning was to not double the trophy value. We’ve already earned them on PS4 so to prevent being credited again for an already earned trophy (thus increasing your total earned trophies) they just chose to not roll them over.
A fix for this I think would be to visually alter the trophy UI to show it’s been earned but not actually add another value to the total trophies earned. Because technically, on the PS5 version, we haven’t earned the trophy. But earning it again would grant 1 to your overall total.
So say you have 200 trophies total and 50 are from ESO, instead of rolling the trophies over granting an additional 50 trophies from PS5 giving a total of 250, it would stay the same value but visually show you’ve earned it.
If I’m making any sense.
Or they could just grant the trophies AND their value towards the overall total.

Well that's Sony's fault. They made lists for both versions. ZoS only chose not to sync the lists which we all agree on, is madness

Sure blame Sony when most other games unlock trophies for both automatically

Fair enough but to me the blames squarely on ZOS when other games work as intended, they chose to do it this way

I agree but why even make 2 separate trophy lists in the first place? If I hadn't unlocked so many plats already I would switch to xbox only for this reason.
It's stupid because the same [snip] will go on with other developers as well. Either force them to sync or have only 1 trophy list. If we get a 3rd list on ps6 then I am a Xbox player.

After struggling with the horrible performance of ps4 version for so long, there's no way I'll go back from ps5. Would be nice to not have to decide between being unable to use any skills in pvp, or 0% trophies after 7 years
