So on the PS5 Version I have to do all Trophies again?

This is doesn't work. Many Trophies are long to farm. And let's say you have done 50% or 60%. Right now if you update to PS5 all you counters and all your work reset. you need to do all from start. And this is not UPDATE this is basicaly full progress wipe.
That they did it's 100% unacceptable and shoud be fix.

I hope that "just delete and redo everything" was sarcasm but I can't be sure.
Emperor -> 100 hours +. Beause you probably won't be able to get it at first try. - 3 days of sleep.
When you got it you're so exhausted that you could die and I am not joking here.
Imagine doing that twice. Hell no..
Fisherman takes also that long but at least you can do it when you feel like it. No stress here but still a lot of effort.
Clearing all zones again (plus collecting everything) probably also 70-100 hours.
Clearly madness if you do it once but twice is suicide.

✭Have to agree on the sentiments expressed here, @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, @ZOS_MattFiror - we need to have this remedied. I've put hundreds of hours into this game over the years, at 82% complete for PSN Trophies. There's no way, especially for an MMO, that it's fair to expect us to re-earn those achievements all over again. I could understand if this was a single player game, but definitely not for a very situational and sometimes super difficult multiplayer game.

Yeah cuz expecting people to delete days upon days of work to reearn trophies is reasonable, sarcasm or not this needs to be changed

i put hundreds of hours into the platinum and no way in hell i go for it again...this update should be about technical enhancements only and not a trophy wipe5 -

And I could understand if it would be difficult to do or, for example, impossible. But no, other studios do it and
understand the importance of it - Final Fantasy VII Remake, Genshin Impact, Warframe and other can do this but TESO can't.
The best example is Warframe - Also an online game, there are also many trophies and they are divided into many groups, a lot of farming too, and are constantly being added. But somehow they did it ...
And here they just took and deleted all the works of many years with just one movement of the hand...5 -

Can we please get some acknowledgement regarding this subject. So we all know where we stand.
If it's a possibility or not. Perhaps in the near future or not at all.
At least everyone can then make a decision if they want to waste hours, days, weeks and months on getting the trophies again or not.

You really going to wipe our progress and expect us to continue playing on PS4 to finish up our trophies? Can we please get some information if possible, or at least a "we're looking into it"?

How hard is it to just check the achievements a character has and just award the appropriate trophies? Sure the dates may be a bit messed up, but overall that is a small inconvenience.

Yes, every part of your account is the same, right down to each of your character's achievements.
If you mean Trophies, those are on your account, not the console itself. Once you unlock a trophy, you have it forever, no matter the hardware.Edited by B0SSzombie on June 19, 2021 9:23AM0 -

No, because this is essentially a backward compatible game. MS have done BC for years and have ironed out most of the issues PS are now seeing. Series S and X are just more powerful versions of the One X and S. Games more or less see them as the same machine. It's why the new Mass Effect trilogy also achieves better results on the xbox, because that too is a BC game. The PS5 is restricted to what the PS4 pro can achieve when it comes to BC games.
Don't kid yourself, the xbox used to have BC issues too, but like i said, MS are now years ahead in that department.1 -
