So again proc sets will be "nerfed" bwahaha. Fantastic.
After U30 almost everyone will be using Crimson procs...its strong without "nerf" and it would be really one shot sht in Cyrodiil after update.
I know that you cant just disable procs in pvp or rvr because folks gotta cry. But leaving it "nerfed" not ok too.

I just want to know why ZOS caters so earnestly to PVP at the expense of the PVE majority, which provide the greatest amount of revenue to the game? Keep this up and you will start losing us, and by way of, your revenue. I for one am tired of it!

I don't even want to reply to your post. Delete this post above, it's toxic.

So WHY are so many sets being rendered as DoT and yet... classes like the warden can use the netch FOR FREE to cleanse any negative affect? Daedric prey, cleanse. Rapid degeneration, cleanse. Weakness to elements, cleanse. Bleed damge... you got it, cleanse! And the best part, it didn't cost the warden anything ;) just button for button, you might as well consider the Warden's Betty netch a "sap resources" ability, but on your end. I'm trying to find a non-meta way to run a hybrid and while some things like sets using highest offensive stats are a good step, any progress in this update is negated by the relative ease of cleansing my DoTs... which aren't even that powerful to begin with. Insult to injury are the wardens who basically counter most of my abilities using a single floating netch that literally costs them NOTHING :( someone please explain to me how that ability is even fair?! Especially with this update and advances in server rendering!

I just wanna point out that I was the first one to suggest the proc scaling.
    Thank you!

Let's hope that the scaling is aggressive and not something trivial like 3000 Weapon/Spell Damage = 100% proc value.

I'm pretty sure they explained you would have to have somewhere around 5.5k weapon or spell dage to reach the "current" proc value... which I think is crazy high! especially when you consider some of these sets already have really low damage output with resistances factores in. ESO needs a way to incentivise broad builds that use diverse sets rather than straight linear reductions which so too harm hybrid builds.

Question for the community: Am I just biased again Betty Netch or do you all think what I'm saying is true?

"@deathbytiki calm down. it purges 1 negative effect. you what how much damage you get for that GCD? nuttin. you know what i've never seen on my death recap? betty netch."

It doesn't have to do damage to be incredibly strong. Look at it this way, any ability that uses DoT usually has very little initial damage if anything... meaning the ability is primarily intended to "do its thibg" over time. Every DoT I've seen costs stam/mag and requires a spot on a bar. Fundamentally, that ability being FREE and capable of being used as many times as you can hit it means you're not only negating any damage from the DoT but also gaining a substantial advantage in any fight based on how much you spam the FREE ability! Name any other ability that can give you that kind of over all advantage at no cost.

ALSO, consider champion point implications of this FREE ability too... like "Salve of Renewal: When you remove a negative effect from yourself or an ally, you heal them and allies within an 8 meter radius of them for 1280 Health per stage. 5 stages max, at 10 points per stage." Just by pressing that ONE FREE ability you can do all of the following:

1- Gain 20% increased weapon and spell damge
2- Remove any negative effect on activation OR evey 5s
2- Negate any damge based on mechanic identified as DoT
3- Effectively drain opponent resources faster than ANY passive or active ability by comparison
4- Gain stam or mag recovery
5- AND you can get burst heals from Champions points?!?!

I honestly don't know how this ability is FREE and I think it is wholly overpowered when compared to any other ability across the classes.

The final numbers from the test server were 6,574 weapon or spell damage, 39,901 magicka or stamina, 43,968 health, and 30,680 physical or spell resistance to reach the original proc values.

Not many people will be hitting those numbers. It's a flat out nerf, and the casual or low APM players will be hurt the most.

My main character is the PVE tank. With him, I try to consume all the content, and for him I got the DLC that I bought. I repeatedly curse myself for putting on heavy armor with him then and going to this role. Overland content with him in is so boring and within normal dungeons his performance is overdone with trial DD. I mean the role of the tank, because my trial DD is a better tank in normal dungeons than a real tank.

All he had left was more difficult content like trials and vet dungeons. With the U29 I could enjoy that. I had enough space for crowd controlling and buffing/debuffing next to the classic tanking. However, it seems to me that the ZOS is trying to deprive me of the last entertainment I had and is pushing me into the role of a ***** with a shield whose job it is only to survive, unsuccessfully in the case of many veteran triads.

vKA (but also nKA) has a few enemies that give damage for 150K-200K and a many that give damage in the range of 30K-100K. Of course, with reduced blocking efficiency, this will have more impact on my health. It's going to cost me more stamina (which I'll have less) and even if I forget about some activities other than survival, I still have a good chance of being unsuccessful in the only task I will have left.

I feel a really "great" motivation now to go do some trial with tank. The last content where the tank makes some sense.
“I wanted it this way”, according to what ZOS wrote in OP. ....... Why do you hate PVE tanks so much, gals and guys?

    PvP - Recruit.
    PvE - Dragon food
RPG - A guy who thought, that he can defeat daedric prince, yet guards still chase him off when he accidentally touches some object during daily writs.

Should remove this slot thing entirely. Once you hit about 2000 CP you have no reason to keep leveling as you will most likely have everything you need.

Otherwise, I would be farming to have everything maxed.
