BLACKWOOD???
That is the name for the next chapter? Blackwood.. Really? Blsckwood is just a small forest in southern cyrodiil, not even that significant, if I was a new player and I saw ESO: Blackwood on the shelves I would NOT think it was an expansion at all, I would think ot was some minor spin-off game like TES Travels: Dawnstar, let's take a look at previous expansion names..
ESO: MORROWIND
This is named after the 3rd single player game in the series, it is an alluring name which would bring interest.
ESO: SUMMERSET
Same as above, very alluring name, maybe even more so then Morrowind as up until that point we had never seen the Suummerset Isles in any modern TES game.
ESO: ELSWEYR
Exactly the same as above, very alluring name
ESO: GREYMOOR
What is Greymoor? A building? This should of been named ESO: Blackreach because people at least knew about Blackreach from Skyrim.
ESO: BLACKWOOD
This name and Greymoor are not good for marketing purposes, unless you played Oblivion you would not even know what Blackwood is and even then most may not remember due to it's general insiginficance in the game it was part of, what would make anyone think this name would attract customers? It should of called it is ESO: Deadlands, at least people would know the name from Oblivion.
Beg to differ. Like the name.
(Way to nit pick though.)
I predict we'll probably be getting new antiquities in Blackwood. Since it's a new chapter as well, we might be getting another multi-piece mount (Daedric, I hope), or maybe a pet. Who knows, maybe they'll just abandon antiquities.
I just really hope we don't get only two companions, because if only two were released and the concept was abandoned just like that, then it would be worthless.

Hopefully Antiquities won't be abandoned. There's an Ancestral Breton motif out there, and it would be a shame if it never came about. Bretons have been quite content-starved for some time, to the point where even an updated racial motif is very much welcome.

I started playing right before Elsweyr and since my first month or two in the game there has been a) no progress on the CP system that has also been capped since before I even joined and b) no new abilities or combat systems added whatsoever.
That is not normal.
companions sounds a great idea! I enjoyed them in skyrim, to ne able to talk to them and have them around, I thought peole would like this too? kind of surprised by the replies so far.

My big concern here is, it's two companions with the expansion itself, and then the rest will be in the crown store for 2500 crowns, or some such.
What makes companions different from house guests or assistants? Personally, I'd want an increase on housing limits (At least separate pets, assistants, house guests, mounts, etc. from "collectables" because there's too many collectables, but not enough furnishing space for them in these huge homes even though there is enough room for them (If you get what I mean). I hate having to remove pets and mounts from my home, just to put in house guests. Why can't I just have them all at once? Not even 10 of them (for ESO+ owners) is enough anymore for all the collectables we get.

Well, this is a multi-player game - wonder how "unique" your companion is, when everyone and their dog have the exactly same companion running around with them. And this basically all the time, not just for a short amount of time like with the banker. It is simply not the same experience with this feature in a multi-player environment.

ESO tends to play the long game when it comes to added features
This is not WoW where they make an arbitrary gameplay system that is abandoned within two years.
Antiquities will be a long time feature that will add more to every new zone
