BLACKWOOD???
That is the name for the next chapter? Blackwood.. Really? Blsckwood is just a small forest in southern cyrodiil, not even that significant, if I was a new player and I saw ESO: Blackwood on the shelves I would NOT think it was an expansion at all, I would think ot was some minor spin-off game like TES Travels: Dawnstar, let's take a look at previous expansion names..
ESO: MORROWIND
This is named after the 3rd single player game in the series, it is an alluring name which would bring interest.
ESO: SUMMERSET
Same as above, very alluring name, maybe even more so then Morrowind as up until that point we had never seen the Suummerset Isles in any modern TES game.
ESO: ELSWEYR
Exactly the same as above, very alluring name
ESO: GREYMOOR
What is Greymoor? A building? This should of been named ESO: Blackreach because people at least knew about Blackreach from Skyrim.
ESO: BLACKWOOD
This name and Greymoor are not good for marketing purposes, unless you played Oblivion you would not even know what Blackwood is and even then most may not remember due to it's general insiginficance in the game it was part of, what would make anyone think this name would attract customers? It should of called it is ESO: Deadlands, at least people would know the name from Oblivion.

Ugh, just why? It's an MMO game, get people to team up. Not to mention that overland content is already extremely easy, so why would anyone need help from an NPC is beyond me.

Because the story content is all singleplayer content.... these companions better be useful!

Exactly lmao. Looks like the chapter will be underwhelming if there isn't any new weapon and just fluff.

In Oblivion you have large ships sailing to the Imperial Isle while there's no physical way they could get in from the bay with Leyawiin lacking the proper clearance for ships. If this is an oversight yet again...good lord.
To be fair that was a technology/hardware issue that they hadn't forseen. Official concept art of Leyawiin for TES4 shows they had planned a much more impressive (and logical) city that allows for ship passage up the Niben. Limitations of the Xbox 360 hardware during development meant cities had to be walled off and put in their own worldspaces (something they still couldn't overcome with Skyrim in the bigger cities) and so Leyawiin ended up in a really unfortunate way
Fingers crossed, ZOS have seen and implemented this concept art
How do they keep mucking this up. I was looking forward to Colovia and they add the least interesting part of Cyrodiil. Not looking forward to swamps, at all.
.
What kills me is people who are not loyal sticking around to whine and complain about everything this team does.
This is why I'd much rather play with my companion over any of you. The companion will be cool with me.
I am thankful I have a fun game to play. I will continue my support for at least 2 more years. Thank you ZOS.

Unfortunately, I have to agree, so much negativity in some comments.
I'm glad that evidently, I've got such low standards that I'm thrilled for every new thing added to the game.
I can't wait for tonight's reveal!

Greymoor 2020: “Antiquities is an even worse grind than Psijic! We didn’t ask for this!”
Blackwood 2021: “If all they add is new companions then that’s not enough new features! Totally boring chapter!!!”
People complain new classes and skills are broken or OP then complain when we don’t get them. People complain skill lines are grindy then complain when we don’t get them.
I love this community, but damn! Some people will just *** about anything and everything!

I'm still excited about the reveal, for any other changes that might be coming. But let me put it this way...every town has some annoying NPC dialogue on loop...I don't really want that following me around.

moral of the story: people complain. very rarely is our species actually “happy”. tis the nature of the beast.
