I started a similar thread here.

In my opinion it is not the fault of any outdated addon. If there is an API respectively an addon causing the issue, then ZOS should provide details so addon authors can write a workaround.

Nothing to do with outdated addons. Same crashes happen without any addon installed. Addons are just an easy excuse.

I didn't re-enable any addons until yesterday and i was crashing and lagging all week.

• mostly sprinting in CYR + opening map
• porting using Keep wayshrine.

How about players that are not using any addons? Is she going to blame our mouse and keyboard next?
Stop relying on hypothetical stuff and fix the problems that are plaguing many players.

Yeah thats just straight BS. Most of the times I have had an issue and submitted a ticket, I get a response involving the, 'we see you are using a lot of addons...' bit and all I can think is, 'yeah, cuz you guys were too lazy to make the game playable without them!' So many expletives have been self censored out of that statement.

I have not run addons since the redownload. I crash several times daily @ZOS_GinaBruno. Is it my addons still?

If the game crashes / lags / goes for a toilet break while you're playing since U25, but it wasn't doing those things before U25, addons are really not the answer.

API calls shouldn't be able to crash the game anyway (other than in some extreme circumstances), if it was in any way stable.

I was not having crashes until this latest update. I have very few addons and took the time to uninstall and reinstall them after the first few CTDs because that was the word around the street. I still crash when in a loading screen or when running through a city.

These problems are occurring for people without addons. It would appear that most of the crashes are not addon-related. Same thing with the excessive load screens, randomly being disconnected, and a whole host of other problems that didn't exist before this last update.

Stop blaming your users. Your game is broken. Fix it.
