It has been rewoked already to this useless trait. Before it gave increased drops on gold you found. At least somehow niche and a little bit usefull when grinding imperial mobs.

I'd say I'd love to see nirn buffed, but there are already tons of ways to get armor/resistance.

It provides 11 Magicka, Stamina and Health Recovery (on golen gear). Maximum you can get is 88 (7 pcs armour + 1 shield). It is imho pathetically low.
Even if it would be incresed to 129 or 169 when maxed - it would still be imho too low to consider, but maybe some niche hybrid builds would use it.

I picked Nirn though, because I am more likely to use Overland/Dungeon Set Pieces with that Trait until I can transmute it or get the right one!😆😂

(I personally never really used Well-Fitted, Reinforced[...] neither. Only Infused, Divines, Training and Impen.)

Invigorating actually isn't that bad. It's more total recovery than Divines + Atronach or Divines + Serpent. For a specific resource, Divines is better. But for all resources, Invigorating is better.

The problem with Invigorating is that it spells out exactly how little you're getting from it. That's why it seems bad. But in reality, all armor traits are pretty muted in their effect. If Divines had instead specified exactly how much magicka recovery you're getting from the Atronach mundus, people would be calling it useless too. But people don't, because its effect is obfuscated.

The really worthless trait is Nirnhoned. It's just another version of Reinforced, with Nirnhoned being a flat value and Reinforced being a percentage value. For some armor pieces, Reinforced will outperform Nirn, and for some, Nirn will outperform Reinforced. In cases where people are building for resistances (which you generally shouldn't do since resistances are actually relatively weak)--i.e., where people are using heavy armor--Reinforced will generally do better. And for a trait that is much more expensive than the common traits, it's pretty ridiculous. Perhaps if Nirnhoned on armor instead behaved like Nirnhoned on weapons and boosted SD/WD, then it'd be more useful.

Not really. I expect they can pull usage directly from the game that is better than the small number of players thave have responded to this poll. They probably already know what is used least of all.

When they reworked the traits they did a pretty good job. More traits are worthy to be used than the original design. More important is that there will always be a trait that is least used and trying to make them all equally useful is pretty much impossible.

What do you think they'll see? I think they'll see that most forum-goers are incapable of simple math.

There was already an initial outcry over the Invigorating trait when that trait was first introduced in 2017 (replacing the truly useless Prosperous).

This is what I wrote back then.
      code65536 wrote: »
Atronach or Serpent Mundus: +238 Mag or Stam regen

With gold Divines, that's +7.5%, or +18 Mag or Stam regen

With gold Invigorating, that's +11 Mag, Stam, and Health regen

So if want single-resource regen, Divines if you are using a regen Mundus is best. Invigorating returns less than Divines, but covers all three pools.

I think the numbers for Invigorating are fair. You may think +11 regen is insignificant, but it's in line with what other traits do--armor traits in general have always been pretty insignificant in comparison to the much more important weapon traits.

PS: Also keep in mind that the +11 regen is unbuffed. In practice, it'll be quite a bit more due to CP, passives from class/race/etc., potions, and other sources of buffs to regen.

Let's say, for example, I'm a DD doing PvE content. I want all-Divines. I have a 5pc armor set where none of the traits are ideal: Reinforced, Invigorating, Training, Sturdy, and Impenetrable. But I only have a limited number of crystals. How should I prioritize my retraiting. Which trait should I change first and which one should I change last? For PvE DPS, I'd probably retrait them in the order of Training, Impen, Sturdy, Reinforced, Invigorating.

Let's say, for another example, you're doing PvP. You want all-Impen. Your current gear is Reinforced, Invigorating, Divines, Training, and Sturdy. Same deal: How do you prioritize it? I don't know about you, but I'd actually get rid of my Divines before my Invigorating.

There are very few situations where Invigorating is a BiS trait, and you'll eventually convert it to something that better fits the content you're doing. But it's not a bad trait--it's a good all-rounded trait. It's not ideal for anything, but it's useful in wide variety of scenarios and is one of the last traits that I'd retrait from as a result.

If invigorating gave around 80 recovery per piece, it would be an awesome trait. As it is right now, its total trash and I really wonder whats the point of it being in the game.
