All I see on that map is "No Spellcrafting again for you."

"Like all urns it bears the dead"
I doubt the urn just contains regular ashes, so this points to something else that´s (un)dead, like a vampire.
Also
LED THEM FROM BOUGHS BOTH GNARLED AND BLACK and the bottom text is: MAY THEY REAP A GREA(T) HARVEST.
Again, black tree, harvest... sounds nasty indeed.
Any luck with the text by the tree? It looks decipherable to me, but what I get is
HET LA??EAGL DEAT TOGREA TONGUE
Now I am thinking it could be partly an anagram, and start with "the".
Also there is the word "terror" and, I think, "world" on other places on the map.

I'm pretty sure its Falinesti the missing Bosmer City.
Bosmer don't live in Skyrim.
Dwemer or Falmer ( aka snowelfs) and the latter seems to be more prominent with vampiric touch to it. My guess it's the Skyrim dawnguard dlc
Falmer arent snowelfs. They are deranged Dwemer and Snowelfs alike who have been experimented on and enslaved.
They were snow elf's.

Exactly. Were snowelfs, but the inbreeding, experiments and whatnot made them Falmer, not Snowelfs.
I keep seeing people jump to Great Harvest. But with the confirmed dropped Y's, maybe it is actually Grey Harvest. Which would fit with the letter count.
And the other writing is clearly too faded. You can mess with the contrast all you want, there's just nothing there.
