I wouldn't discard anything yet. Previous teasers like this never revealed anything about game features (classes, skill lines), just the general setting and story kick-off.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

    What I'm seeing is...

Corrupted nature - in other words Reach magic. In Skyrim that involves hagravens and the Glenmoril Wyrd (We just received an outfit for the Glenmoril Wyrd with a Reach-style headdress).

A Briar Heart tree, but maybe the deluxe edition with especially dark hearts...
    tYZGp5A.jpg

Something like a lurcher, but bigger and rangier...
    H7wyd3e.jpg

Things like dream catchers, but for nightmares...
    CldJQje.jpg

The words speak of reaping a harvest. The witchmother uses similar language.

Also a burial urn (containing the big bad no doubt) and two can openers for opening it (one obtained from each Q1 Dungeon maybe),
    PwKWaC5.jpg

The urn may be the objective of the prologue quest for the Q2 chapter release. No telling who's in the urn yet though.

Also not so sure about the merchandising potential of a burial urn.

The first map reavjs from solitude down below markarth, so this placement should be just slightly above crahlorn, how ever the second map reveals that a spotted location should be just East of solitude in yo the mountains, it looks like its above Morthal, which is know for their vampires.

Nice! Can anyone help deciphering if you haven´t already (I didn´t see it) the top writing (to the left of the tree):

What I get is something like

HE? SA? ?EAR DEAT TOGR?A TONGUE

Like another I found the word 'terror', and also 'world', on other places on the map, which isn´t much to go on.

Personally, I figure... we´re gonna get spellcrafting.

I think they will put in the dragon tongue and we´ll be able to make our own shouts.

    Yup, that´s what I believe...

If you put the maps on top of each other (from the three different pictures I have seen), you can overlap them using the mountains. The markers point to different locations:

Maybe try to connect every maps which was posted like in one big map or put them on top of each other bcs this thick arrow can show some point from different directions (south, north, west, east)

    example:
    depositphotos_65097747-stock-photo-target-and-arrows-directed-to.jpg

IMO its one big map of skyrim, and arrows show us cities or group events (like dragons)

Dunno if anybody noticed and posted, but on Casual Ranger's picture (the urn one), there's that totem with a banner. The banner has a marking, that is the same that appears on every map in red.

I can't edit, but regarding the red markings, on the picture with the other totem (sorry I can't remember who got that one), there's the same marking on the top left. It is the one that is translated to "Led them through boughs, both gnarled and black, may they reap in greeat harvest".

    Can someone summarize? AFAIK:

"Like all urns it bears the dead"

I doubt the urn just contains regular ashes, so this points to something else that´s (un)dead, like a vampire.

    Also

LED THEM FROM BOUGHS BOTH GNARLED AND BLACK and the bottom text is: MAY THEY REAP A GREA(T) HARVEST.

Again, black tree, harvest... sounds nasty indeed.

Any luck with the text by the tree? It looks decipherable to me, but what I get is

    HET LA??EAGL DEAT TOGREA TONGUE

Now I am thinking it could be partly an anagram, and start with "the".

Also there is the word "terror" and, I think, "world" on other places on the map.

I'm betting that the top two sigils represent the two Q1 dungeons, and the lower one the location of the urn for the chapter prologue. Not really expecting them to be on the map we'll be getting for the Chapter.

The dungeon sigils may hint at the content of the dungeons, but I don't think the locations are of any heavy significance.

HET - is russian for NO. So no LA -> ZOS will remove light attacks
EAGL - ELAG - elderscrolls LAG -> game will lag
DEAT - sounds like dit(ch) -> something will be ditched
TOGREA TONGUE - to great tongue -> probably new shout skill line

I got the first word as 'her'. I also thought second word was SA?, not LA?

It kind of feels like they drop more than the letter Y, even tho that's all we got from lore. DEAT is very clearly decipherable and obviously would make sense to be DEATH. Or it's an iffy B and says DEBT? That said, there is absolutely no E in the second to last word. That is a clear T.

    Her S/LA? ?EA?S DEAT/DEBT TOGRTA TONGUE

    is what I have. :/

And the other writing is clearly too faded. You can mess with the contrast all you want, there's just nothing there.

I keep seeing people jump to Great Harvest. But with the confirmed dropped Y's, maybe it is actually Grey Harvest. Which would fit with the letter count.

    I got this today

Wow, everyone is getting different things. This is pretty cool. Well the tree is a reach tree. But the things at the bottom look like Boomarangs, elven style. Only two elven races were really ever in Skyrim: Dwemer and Snow Elf. Hmmm.

I'm pretty sure its Falinesti the missing Bosmer City.

    Bosmer don't live in Skyrim.
Dwemer or Falmer ( aka snowelfs) and the latter seems to be more prominent with vampiric touch to it. My guess it's the Skyrim dawnguard dlc

Falmer arent snowelfs. They are deranged Dwemer and Snowelfs alike who have been experimented on and enslaved.

    They were snow elf's.
    https://youtu.be/utnTBn8X41Y

Exactly. Were snowelfs, but the inbreeding, experiments and whatnot made them Falmer, not Snowelfs.

    No inbreeding just poisons

I've been saying this numerous times from the beginning. That said, there are FOUR letters. If it is grey, Y is not a dropped letter.

Well, TBH this is more fun than playing

I love a good puzzle. I looked at it some more and the best I can come up with now is that the first word is 'her', the last
'tongues', and then there might be death in the middle.

"her sai meagh death togrta tongues"?

    Spellcrafting confirmed.

My guess is that the map is depicting Whiterun area. That big tree in the corner is Gildergreen. It would also make sense with the title of the expansion: Dark Heart of Skyrim - heart in this case meaning "the center".

It doesn´t fit with the letter count. It is GRE'X'. If Y's are dropped, there would be nothing there.

The best I can do with that word is "GREA"

That would make little sense if you place the markers on top of a TESV map.
It actually is more of what others have said, it's near Hjaalmarch and labarinthia
