Would you like to see a Dwarven or the Dwemer race get added to ESO? We know there are Dwarven ruins in the game. I would love to be able to play as a Dwarf :)

Nope. Their disappearance needs to stay the greatest and most debated mystery on Nirn. Should never be a playable race.

The probably don't exist anymore. One theory is all did Zero-sum at the same time. ZOS has a lot to explain when they add the Dwemer to the game.

Oh, and also no for the eyes, Dwemer design just doesn't look good.

    Nope, completely out of lore.

Not to mentioned that they have been completely technological superior to anything we have in game era, being able to construct Animunculi (autonomous automatons) like Centurions.

With their technology and mass production of their automatron army, they would be able to crush any opposition and conquer whole Tamriel stomping over everything that stands on their way.

They even went so far, that they started to construct Akulakhan - it was a gigantic construct to be like mechanical God to take control of whole Tamriel

They are completely out of the current game era and it is better to stay that way.

not to be picky about the lore or anything, but Akulakhan was Dagoth Ur, the Dwemer built Anumidium, aka Walking Brass

No. They're long gone by the time of ESO and if we ever see them, it'll be in ghost/flashback form - as with other lost races of Tamriel. Besides, the Dwemer are one of the coolest enigmas of TES and I think de-mystifying them in such a way would be a big mistake.

Seriously something tells me that the OP doesn't realise that they cannot be part of the game lorewise and that lore is across all the TES games (5 to be precise). Let us not see the game go the way of Blizzard with their undead paladins.

    No, because of the lore.
But also yes, but only because I just really want a new race. I'd prefer something other than Dwarven, though. Maormer would be preferable.

    Because of the LORE!

Look here for the collected thoughts on the "new races" matter:
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/422285/new-player-race-possibilities/p1
    Dwemer
    0e728231b2ffda9d439877df217bba7737b8ed5d_hq.jpg
The deep elves are long gone in this era (with one exception), and they won't be coming back for as far as anyone knows - even in games set a thousand years later, noone has ever recorded seeing another living dwemer (and they would have, seeing how its one of the great mysteries of tamriel, and anyone who found out could have gotten free drinks from the fame along for life).
Only way we will see them is in some "flashback" quest, like the nedes or chimer - which is entirely possible. But never as player characters without some serious lore breakage.
    ...and that's still it.

Also, the Dwemer were not exactly "dwarves", they were more like "Deep Elves"...
Definitely no for playable race, but I really like to see Yagrum Bagarn before he was infected by corprus disease.
Yup. And that is a distinct possibility, because in the time of ESO, he ought to be still busy searching for any trace of his vanished dwemer brethren; so... if they ever make a "dwemer" themed expansion... like exploring a region-sized dwemer underground city... (Blackreach, maybe?) its entirely possible we might run into him as NPC.
Of course, seeing how Clockwork City isn't so long ago, I doubt they will go there anytime soon, but once they cover a great many other places and start thinking "it might be time for a touch of steam and clockworks again..."

And that's the excuse to poison OP's thread? Is the topic here about Dwemer race or how the game sucks and evil ZOS.
Why don't you go and open yourself the factual and realistic thread then, and leave OP's fantasy one alone

I dont like the idea of a playable race, but perhaps one of those instances where we play through their eyes? Happens often enough as it is, may as well incorporate that somehow.

Could even be a public dungeon type thing, scholars doing something with an unusual soul gem bla bla bla

If you want to play a dwarf like race, we have that in Eso, Its called an Orc. Orcs are the closet thing we will ever get to playable Dwarves.

The lore as it is makes its impossible, Since Dwarves are Elves and they are all gone and disapeared all but one. I really doubt Bethesda would allow them to do it.

So if you want to go for a more dwarf like feel, Then play an Orc. Since they kinda have that feel about them when it comes to crafting things and the hardiness and other traits that people might see in other fantasy worlds.
    3j7i94.jpg

Or a Bosmer since they are one of the shortest races we have.

Yeah I can see maybe flashbacks during the time frame that they were around but as playable no. Would be cool if they did add a flash back /time travel scene if they add in Blackreach to the game the game and maybe experience the war of the crag between the Falmer and the Dwarves. But otherwise as a playable race given the lore that would make it very hard to do so I think its best they did not. That is why I voted no.
