ZOS, do you actually care anymore?

Lokey0024✭✭✭✭✭I'm returning after a long time of not playing and I say ZOS is killing it. There is so many cool things they have done to improve the game. I mainly PvP and I'm impressed. I sat it summerset and listened to a bard sing while cleaning my inventory and ended up just listening till the set was done. Optimizing 2h/bow/staff to make set bonuses achievable, jewelry crafting, class tweaks etc. I'm enjoying the ride, take a step back and look at everything and you might to.1 -

Remember as well that it's only the corporate/publisher side which doesn't care about you. Generally most of the developer staff actually love the game and their community.
This is very correct. Matt Firor on up are the business side. So those under Matt do care about the game but they hands are tied to what Matt and his bosses say needs to be done. Yes, Matt is the business side these days.4 -

All those things are great qol updates, the problem shows when you put those things to use and the game begins to melt.

Just registered here to add a voice. I haven't been playing much recently, but even in those rare hours the bugs would still find a way to spoil the experience - nothing special, just resetting bosses in overland/dungeons, stuck animations and minor stuff like this. But seeing the amount of broken things in Elsweyr patch really brings me down as I'm planning to play this game more and get into endgame content soon. But now with all the broken trials that seems like an unfair challenge to take on.
And here's the thing - with other games I would just move on, find something else. ESO, however, holds a special spot for me, it's one the best games I've played and, most importantly, one with the most amazing community. To see it decline in its rise, when it's finally climbed out of its bad launch reputation, is so painful. Especially because I see so many people - among both players and developers - care so much about this game, but problems continue to pile up.
I think ZOS care, but maybe not those who take decisions. And all the solutions I can think of have already been said here, and in threads before. People will continue to pay, ZOS will continue to push out amazing, but rushed content.
If I were to ask for one thing, it would be: slow down with the DLCs. There are so many, and they are great. I've been playing for a year and I have done maybe 30% of the content or less, and I'm sure a lot of people still have so much to experience in this game. But if you slow down, take your time to work on smaller, less noticeable things - little annoying bugs, big ol' trial bugs, refine what you already have - the community, both casual and endgame, will be so much more grateful. I'm not even talking server improvements - clearly it's too big of an expense for the higher ups, and I know the dev team is probably not responsible. If the executives want to wait out the influx of players, they may never see them back, and ESO will be once again seen as a buggy TES spinoff no one cares to play.
It's been said so many times over, but I just don't see any other way to voice it. Here's to hope.PC EU/NA

Thing is when I take a step back in game I end up on an unexpected loading screen. Then, after 2 or 3 "this may be a long load time" messages the game crashes me to my Xbox dashboard.
Then it'll take me 3 or 4 tries of getting to character select, choosing my character, then the game crashing on the load screen before I actually load in successfully.
Only to take a step back and have it happen all over again...

I think they're killing it too, just (very often) in a completely different way.
