I'm not mad about it but it is a bit inappropriate to joke about something that is causing a lot of people to stop playing. I cant see this helping moods.
But; to add to the joke; you can report her post for trolling. lol All fun and games
They need to be reminded that this is a game. It is not something deadly serious. In 50 years, in 100 years, no one is going to remember Elder Scrolls Online's Cyrodiil lag. All the games of today will have been gone for decades, and all their problems gone with them. If someone cannot laugh about a problem in a game, something that is not going to endure forever, they really need to learn how. They need to learn to step back.
Well, as John Maynard Keynes said, in the long run we’re all dead. Does that mean that nothing is important given the fact that 99.9% of people won’t make an impact beyond their own life and maybe that of their families?
In the grand picture mankind as a whole is just a tiny grain in a vast space. If you put it into that perspective nothing will ever matter.

So you want to report her to herself? The poor forum mod with that job, lol. "Here is your warning....nvm."

I want to personally apologize for the line from today's patch notes. What was meant to be a joke was ultimately distasteful, insensitive, and offensive toward an issue that should be taken seriously. As mentioned in a different thread, we do have a fix going into Update 21 that will help with some FPS issues in Cyrodiil, and we're continuing to look into how to improve overall performance. This is important to us.
Please accept my apologies.

Just remember that if an ESO player stands on a busy street corner in New York (or London, or Paris, or...), the world they see is filled with people who are getting on with their daily lives completely oblivious to the fact that ESO has lag. They don't care.
If that seems too small, and those people should care about ESO lag, then this picture should help fix that. This is a picture taken in an "empty" part of the sky, about the size of a speck of dandruff held at arms length. This picture contains about 5000 galaxies. There are an uncountable number of stars in those galaxies.
"We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a hum-drum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people."
I didn't see a ton of people overreacting about it. Most just said it was inappropriate. The overreaction is people taking that as "ZOMG! YOU ALL ARE FLIPPING OUT OVER A JOKE." There were of course; a couple "I quit. You make fun of me" posts but by large, that isn't the case.
I dont think an apology was needed even. Just an acknowledgment or understanding that it's a serious issue. A lot of people may not notice as much if they are in EP or AD in PC NA, as they have had large queues to get in in the past and still pop lock; but it feels like DC is really struggling outside of a couple guilds to amount to anything and yet it still lags on a weekday. I'm just weary of more people quitting.

Yes, who cares if you take away the small things people enjoy about their jobs. But Gina should be considerate of others feelings huh?
