I want to personally apologize for the line from today's patch notes. What was meant to be a joke was ultimately distasteful, insensitive, and offensive toward an issue that should be taken seriously. As mentioned in a different thread, we do have a fix going into Update 21 that will help with some FPS issues in Cyrodiil, and we're continuing to look into how to improve overall performance. This is important to us.
Please accept my apologies.

Correct, which is why she should be more professional. Part of her job is to better facilitate communication and understanding between ZOS and the ESO community and though some people are tolerant of it, it's clear that to others this will be a wedge.Wow, really people.... she is the Community Manager not one of the Software Developers. It was funny, sure there are Lag issues but she isn't the one to blame.
Considering that you haven't removed the joke which you call distasteful, insensitive and offensive, I think it's safe to say this apology isn't sincere.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hi everyone,

So not only does a community manager feel it's okay to joke about a legitimate issue that causes customers extreme frustration, her superiors are also okay with it or it would have been edited by now. This is insight to how ZOS managers and execs feel about gaming enthusiasts and, especially, AvA players affected by the crippling lag issues of ESO.
Worse than SOE.

Offensives towards an issue in a video game?
Anyway, I thought it was tasteful and would love to see more of that. It reminds us that there are humans behind those usernames. A robotic, impersonal dev team is no fun.
Oh yes. There would have been much fun if she had joked the same way about the group finder queue issues during the recent event. I'm sure that would have gone over well.MLGProPlayer wrote: »Anyway, I thought it was tasteful and would love to see more of that. It reminds us that there are humans behind those usernames. I highly doubt that Gina is being rude and only meant it as a joke, I laughed.
