yup. Time to uninstall.
Dont say that...
These are not the shiniest times for Templars but better days will come.
(Although i thought the same thing for my magblade and each patch they are definitly worst 😫)
Maybe take some vacations from the templar class? Or maybe the opposite, go from limbo to hell and try the magblade, to cheer up?

Remind me Monday. That's when pts notes drop and I'll see if they adjusted the things they should in order to make Templar competitive.
Otherwise my thoughts are in the guide and that Templar requires more work than NB/Sorc to put together a build.
Naive
Im like 300k ap away from Grand Overlord and will park this beast in the PvE world if nothing changes.

I am not overly impressed by the changes but I think some of us are being a bit dramatic.
The major protection thing is pretty damn sad I'll admit. And DF too, but no one uses that outside of lame gank (mag snipe) builds anyway.
We're getting buffs to Sweep, Charge, Radiant Ward, Ritual fix, not to mention the RAT changes. It's a mixed bag imo, but not all negative.

I see stamplars often actually. There to do nothing but jabs CC'd opponents and use POL. That's about it. I still see MagPlar healers and the occasional tank. But mostly it's all Nightblades, DKs, and petSorcs or negateSorcs. A lot of players that can't hit the broadside of a barn so they just AOE-nuke the place to the ground or ultimate dump as soon as I show up.

Don’t know what Cyrodiil you play then because in comparison to magplars they are pretty rare to see, I’ll see a stam sorc before a stamplar. In fact there’s so few stamplars you know just about every player that plays one for the most part. This goes for open world and bgs.
If I recall you’re on ps4.

I play BGs on Xbox one. It's pointless for me to go to Cyrodiil without a group. I gave up on that. I see some stamplars. Not as much as everything else but I see them. I recognize them by their jabs and POL. Other than that, they look like all the other stam players running around with their 2H and DBOS (there's diversity in game play for you).

Lightning staff - Unstable Core, Sweeps, Toppling, Annulment, Honor - ult db or empowering
Resto - mist form/Rat, Extended, Rune, Entropy, ally ward, ult - panacea
Curse Eater, Steadfast Hero, Maw
Curse Eater gives a nice front bar purge for yourself and allies + high steadfast uptime
Stead fast for major protection if you don't have an effect on yourself you can curse eater an ally for it
Maw - because everyone wants a portable LoS tree - well here he is lol (same with engine Guardian)
Toppling for a gap closer. Core for some burst damage (I wanna try using it now)
Light armor, steed and swift so I actually have a chance of escape
