Well Khajiit already has a tavern, theatre, Fishmas grotto, temple, castle and college.

This one likes to find a new business idea for each place yes.

Well - that's kind of a long-time (seriously long time....) human thing to do.

Just turned on my PS4 to update that version of the game and I see a system event announcement message, which says Summerfall takes place from "Friday 21st Sep, 0:00 - Saturday 29th Sep, 0:00".

Probably take those times with a grain of salt as I am in Australia

Existing Pathfinder achievement counts, no need to actually get the achievement to get the rewards as long as you own Summerset and log in before October 7th, but obviously contributing helps get everyone a house.

Summerset on sale for "up to" 40% off for those that don't have it.

Prize tiers are:

Psijic Mascot Pony pet
Psijic Escort Charger mount
Grand Psijic Villa house (described as "impressive"!)

No actual participation count numbers are listed, just percentages (33%, 66%, 100%) for each reward tier.

Sorry Gina and gang if I'm stealing your thunder, it's right there on the PS4 home screen though

The article wasn't very clear, but I believe you can only get the achievement once per account and can't just run it on multiple characters right?

We are already at 20% based on those of us who have already visited the areas.

It doesn't seem to mention if multiple characters are counted or if it's just counted once per account. Ive already discovered the areas on 12 of my 15 toons.

From the FAQ at the bottom of the page:

It makes sense they made it account-based, they want to sell Sumemrset copies afterall.

Im also confused on what exactly “100%” is. Like 100% of people that bought Summerset? People have quit playing since then, So are we already screwed on the house?

Khajiit cannot believe that only 20% have already completed the pathfinder achivement yes. If this is the case the big snooty elf house is a long way away. Something like this achivement would be already complete by most who have been to Summerset no?

HA! My same thoughts.

We all get the house if 100% of the playerbase does this achievement. So, if someone has quit or died or is on an extended vacation, we're SOL?

Gotta be some sort of background metrics on this. But even if it's 100% of all players active recently who own or acquire Summerset during the event period, that's essentially an impossible goal. 90%, okay, maybe, but literally every account?

I imagine they will set a (probably arbitrary) goal of players, based on how many active accounts already own Summerset. So if they've sold 500,000 copies of Summerset (for example), they might say for the house, we need 400,000 players to get the achievement.

The important number to know is the baseline - is it a percentage of people who own Summerset? ESO? Active in the last month?

Yeah... Don't think this is going to go up too much more. I mean we've had 4 months to get to 20%... A lot of the new numbers will probably have to come from new sales and they have less than a month to take us there.

since they mention how folks unable to contribute can still get qualified to earn our prizes with us- that would indicate they are taking only a cross section of the Summerset player base and not the whole thing for the Prize credit. it'd be nice to know a range though.

My guess, based on the wording in the FAQ, is that it's the percentage of accounts that have Summerset and the achievement divided by the number of accounts that have Summerset.

Agreed. Most active players already have the achievement. Inactive players won't come back just for a community event. I have doubts that there will be five time as many people who will unlock it by the 28th as there are by now. I guess we'll never have a house on Artaeum.
