So there is 70 pages. Can I just ask:
Looking for a heavy armor magplar
Playstyle: openworld, solo/small group
Playstyle: Ranged damage dealer with decent spell dammage, good sustain and good defence.
Campain: No-cp
Thank you very much

Thanks for the replies. I wanted heavy because I felt I was being melted too fast in light. Also was thinking ranged because jabs is so *** up right now. Jabs probably my favorite skill

I'd really like to go put together a "classic" brawler templar setup with Bright Throat, but the last few times I slotted Sweeps, it didn't stay long.

jabs animation is faster and feels much smoother now, mission accomplished i think?
Can someone do a weird little check for me please?
On a target dummy, do 10 sweeps back to back and just make a note of the time?
On console I could only ever do 10 over 13s (No weaving, literally just sweeping) - Not sure if that included any out-of-combat time from leaving the dummy.
Wondering if it's quicker in general now / On PC / still the same.

today's jabs fix is PC only so consoles have another week to endure
Jabs seem back to normal!
As for the heavy armor question. I tested 5h2l Shackle/bright-throat with x2 pirate skeleton in Sotha. Regen is sitting roughly around 2k but my crit and spell damage are pathetically low. Im not able to put out much damage on people, and I still die, just not as fast.
Is Shacklebreaker just a bad choice to go 5 light with? Would I be better off running a set like x5 light overwhelming paired with bright-throat?
Basically I'm looking to put a hurt on people but still have some survivability as a solo/small scale pvp'er.
I run shackle, wizards and pirate in 5 light. it is tanky af and enough damage to kill others. I have 36k magicka, unbuffed 2.1k sp and 1.7k recovery. Sometimes i use overwhelming instead of wizards but i dont think it has an "overwhelming" difference in damage especially if you consider how much mitigation you lost by not using wizards.Jabs seem back to normal!

Shackles fine in light, just run 2 protective jewelry, or 3. I'd personally drop pirate skeleton for blood spawn or skoria tho. Blood spawn is a great mix of sustain, mitigation, and offense/ defense through ultimate generation. Skoria is just awesome.
Learn to feel out the fight bc and block incoming combos and counter combos being set up, that's the biggest reason most struggle with light armor.

It's fixed-ish, too. Fewer failure-to-fires or skill lockouts.
