"Rune Cage (morph): Decreased the damage done from this ability by approximately 20%."

That is NOT a nerf that will make any difference lol. Rune Cage is a problem because of the long CC that for whatever reason is incredibly hard to break free from quickly. The CC is the problem, not the damage.

And you completely neuter StamNB by taking away the stun on Incap Strike making it so that no-one is going to use it over Dawnbreaker like every other Stamina class. How about removing the stun on dumb crap people spam from range like Lethal Arrow instead? Lethal Arrow does the same thing as Incap Strike, deals high damage, applies Major Defile, and stuns and then on top of that it's so bugged right now that you get hit by 3 or 4 shots all at once.

    Channeled Focus changes:

Live: ~6,240 magicka return minus 1,080 cost = 5,160 total magicka return

PTS: 3,600 magicka return minus 1,891 cost = 1,709 total magicka return

and that's without considering that you have to recast more often since you can no longer refresh the buff by reentering the circle...

ZOS, your simple math skills are like a 1st grader's and this is a huge nerf.

Welp that's going off my Bar

Just adding insult to injury at this point:

Live server Channeled Focus: 5,160 magicka return over 26 seconds (after initial 1,080 cost is subtracted)

PTS server Channeled Focus: 3,418 magicka return over 30 seconds (after cost of two casts is subtracted)

I think that's the right math...
It would take 4 total casts (2 minutes) of PTS version's magicka return to surpass one cast of Live version's magicka return (only 26 seconds)

So thats standing in it which you now also get extra resistance while in. Whats the return after walking out of each now that its almost double duration in that scenario?

You can walk out of Live server Channeled Focus immediately after casting it and go back to it after 18 seconds to reapply the buff right before the circle disappears and you'd still get magicka back faster than what PTS Channeled Focus gives over its 15 second duration before having to recast again.

Is teleporting to your house supposed to cost gold now?
  • crystal_coppolab14_ESO
@ZOS_GinaBruno will the new houses be crown store exclusives or can we see a gold option as well? having both options would be great. would also be nice to see another 50% off crown sale, especially if you plan on making everything crown store exclusive. :)

Removed the stun on incap and nerfed almost all defiles in the game ZoS get your *** together healing and tanking is over preforming in pvp you just keep buffing healing and zergs. Its already impossible to kill certian heavy armor templars builds solo this game is going down hill fast.

    Bugs noticed so far:

    1) Lighting issue noticed immediately in Alinor with the rising sun behind a tower in front of home good furnisher. The light was glitching to show light in the middle of what should have been the full shadow of the tower on the ground. Also showed on the player when stood in the way. Maybe ray tracing glitch. I'm running a GTX765 for graphics card if that matters.
    Not a problem on live.

    2) Grand Psijic Villa house has an invisible wall in the small north suite side room inside there on the north side that prevents you from actually touching the wall by a very noticeable distance. This could interfere with furnishing placement also.

    3) Sitting in the Alinor chairs and benches is still not right. On Live servers the character completely floats, butt and feet off the chair and ground. On PTS now, the butt sinks and the thighs ramp up to the knees because the feet are still floating above the floor and bottom of the chair. It looks completely unnatural now.

    4) Zoom out the map from the Grand Psijic Villa house and it goes directly to the map of "The Aurbis" instead of to the Artaeum zone map. Zoom one level back in and it goes to the Tamriel full map and shows the house as in the ocean far north of Vvardenfell at the edge of the map unless you move over the Artaeum zone on The Aurbis map and then attempt to zoom.

    5) When in a house, specifically tested in the Grand Psijic Villa, there are no quests on the map filter tab for them, in gamepad mode, and it says "you have no quests here" when that shouldn't matter and it should still be able to show the correct zone and direct me to the quests from there. It still only shows an exit from your current zone from that list instead of going to the correct zone and then showing the quest marker location.

    Edited to add more bugs:
    6) The Colossal Aldmeri Grotto house has a light shining from the back straight through the ruins rock and stone and trees all the way to the base of the stairs from the beach no matter where the sun direction is. This is currently the same on Live servers. The ceiling also doesn't shade it enough. It is far too bright in this cavern. It should be more like Karnwasten lighting, dark and "cavey".

    7) The Colossal Aldmeri Grotto house has lost a lot of rocks from the ceiling, like what it had during Summerset PTS, and now has less of a ceiling than it does on Live servers. We can see through the meshes of some rocks in the ceiling from the broken off ship cabin at the top of the ruins/waterfall exactly as was a problem from 4.0.0 PTS patch when Summerset was first in testing. It's very noticeable and lost a lot of "The Goonies" treasure ship cave appeal.
You all really really REALLY need to update your development version of the game to the Live patch before altering it for the next PTS. You just brought back a previously fixed bug that you now have to fix again which wasn't even that long ago. The only explanation for this is complete lack of planning and using an old version of the game to build new patches, missing key data from patches between the old and upcoming data.
This is an unacceptable inexcusable bug. [removed bashing comment]

I noticed one fix so far that I like. I can now use the right and left bumpers, on my gamepad on PC, to easily and quickly switch between map layers from zone to Tamriel to The Aurbis and back which was broken for a very long time.

Another partial fix that seems to have happened is that now "show quest on map" from the quest journal listings will take you to the correct zone for a quest to one of the quest markers there if multiple markers. It is a little buggy for the Craglorn quest "The Shattered and The Lost" which I tested to show the inside of Rkundzelft instead of the Craglorn zone first but I tapped left bumper to zoom out to the Craglorn map, which worked, and it centered on Lanista's Waystation in central Craglorn. So overall, it works a hell of a lot better than it has been for a long time.

Just an observation and suggestion, the Grand Psijic Villa main building is far too huge with far too much vertical space with no ready made platforms to use that vertical space. It looks like a church and is as empty and sterile and not-homey as a church. It really needs multiple levels of floors in the towers toward the front with stairs already there up to the multiple levels. The main room also needs a full second floor. It's all far past impractical and far past what even the Altmer would have done. It's tall enough for its own weather like we see in Elden Root and yet not even that is there and would be bad for the building.
It would have been better to use the Shimmerene Monastery or Temple in Alinor for a model to replicate rather than the Palace of Alinor because the latter is just far too big and empty.
We just don't have the item limits to do anything with such huge outdoor spaces AND the biggest building interior yet added to the game.

(not my chart, but the numbers are correct)

That chart (mine) wasn't ready for prime time and was still a work in progress. This is a better representation of the sustain changes. Rune is a very minor sustain buff if you never return to the rune, but a very major sustain nerf if you can return even a single time. In short: PVE magplar DPS is taking a huge hit here. 4u8xcmrild4b.png

While sustain is somewhat simpified, either the cost needs to be reduced or the duration increased to be on par with existing magplar sustain.

The extra 2.5k resists is really not terribly useful and is not fair compensation for the potential loss of 3451 magicka sustain.

Welkynar motif is designed to be very hard to get, guess that will be going in the crown store soon then.

    I actually hope so.

It's absolutely stupid that it is limited to one RANDOM page per week.

    1) I'm not going to have multiple characters to run that trial on high enough difficulty to get any of the required items. Most people are not. That means I won't be able to speed it up with multiple characters.

    2) I don't want to hassle with forming that large a group anyway. I avoid trials because they are far more pain than pleasure to run. Trials are too much of a pain to run more than once a day, maybe even once a week. That's still asking a lot. A lot of people feel this way and they seem to have too thick skulls to realize this.

    3) This is not going to help any economy of sellers on this as the prices will be too high to move in any volume and redistribute wealth properly and likely most won't sell these due to the rarity in getting the one they need first or second depending on which they choose to sell, if any.

    4) This trial will die like any other content. Not enough people will want to run it eventually, out of the already limited number who own Summerset compared to the rest of the game, to make it at all reliable to get these motif pages.

The Welkynar motif as noted above is too stupid rare, will not help the economy and is only going to get even ore rare with time rather than less rare as all things should.

So, I really hope it goes into the crown store. It may actually be the one most worth buying if it is priced the same 5000 that other motifs are. The others feel overpriced because they are not as rare.
I just hope it is very very soon, either at the same time as the motif is available in the trial or shortly after. I won't wait forever to get it.
There is the problem. People will not wait forever for a grind or for it to be on sale. They'll write this game off as the "grindy piece of gold doodoo" that it is and move on with their money to other games before too long. I'm one of those people re-evaluating my desire to play this game as things get more and more tedious and less and less fun.

Crest of Cyrodiil: This item set has been redesigned, and its old effect has been moved to the Ward of Cyrodiil Item Set.
    OLD:
    2: Weapon Damage
    3: Max Health
    4: Healing Taken
5: When you deal melee damage, you apply Minor Defile to the enemy for 5 seconds, reducing their healing received by 30%. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds.
    NEW:
    2: Stamina Recovery
    3: Max Health
    4: Max Health
5: After successfully blocking, heal for 8000 Health. This effect can occur every 5 seconds.

Why, You, done this set COMPLETLY USELESS?
i mean, ok u desided to change it. Hell, make it interesting.
Its clearly visible that new benefits are weak and stupid (stam recovery for blocking set - wtf?, 2 max health...wtf?)...CLEARLY.
Ppl spent freaking big amount of transmute crystals on jewellery, tempers for weapons...
And u showed "respect" to players with making this crap thing.
Idk, u should understand this guys... its not appropriate
And gave this bonus to another set which was garbage and most players deconstructed gold jewleery to get parts for gold tempers for jewellery because anyone bought it before today. So, problems to get it now.
    Frustrationg action.
    Garbage.

@ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom P.s:Such policy is wrong, it should not be in such way. If set was good or overperforming. Do not make it trash, change it, completly or slightly to match it with alternatives.

I pretty much play with one bar and only switch to the other bar for different types of fights if at all anyway.
I have one bar for AoE/easy enemies and one bar for single-target/boss battles.

I really find switching bars and short duration abilities are too hectic and messy to do, especially with all the bugs lately with that. It's better to just keep it simple.

I didn't see anything in the notes about the crafted poisons fix. Any poison associated with movement (immovable, hindering, paralyse) that is equipped to your weapon will not trigger on ANY boss, and it wont trigger on certain high health enemies. I submitted a ticket and it was seen. I hope that you fix this and include it in the patch notes.

Join the club. Baffles me how stamblades cry about slotting DB when the other stam classes have done it this entire time because our ultimates were lackluster in comparison. Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.
