    Year 2022 - ESO Update 32:

We removed last of Nightblade passive to be more in line with having no passives, as skills were removed 5 patches ago... :#

That BARLEY a nerf lmfao. Incap needed a nerf. 20% Bonus dmg for like 8 seconds, a Defile, a Stun and a DoT (Pretty sure it has a DOT)

I must say a lot of stuff in Class Rep thingies got changed but only PvP stuff. Only big thing that will make huge difference to PvE is this right here: "Infused (Weapon): Fixed an issue where the cooldown reduction was applying to both of your Weapon Enchantments if you were dual wielding."

Some of the sets look nice for PvE DPS but that's really all.

As a PvE Tank Main, here are my thoughts:
    Jailer’s Tenacity (Heavy)
    2: Healing Taken
    3: Max Health
    4: Healing Taken
5: When you lose 25% or more of your Health from a single attack, you gain Major Vitality for 6 seconds, increasing your healing received by 30%.

This has no cooldown. Considering that Olms will hit you for more than 25% of your Max Health with each light attack, this sounds good for training runs. After that, nope. Has no value in end-game raiding or 4 man dungeons.
    Vykosa (Monster Mask)
    1: Healing Taken
2: When you taunt an enemy, you frighten them with a deafening howl, applying Major Maim to them for 3 seconds, lowering their damage done by 30%. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Taunt lasts for 15 seconds. So they put 15 seconds cooldown on this set. Problem is, there is only 1 person taunting a target. That means the highest possible uptime on Major Maim is 20%. Another problem is, you can't use this set properly because you want to apply the Major Fracture and Major Breach so have to use taunt every 12 seconds (I use every 10) at least. If you taunt again and again to apply both debuff and Major Maim, you'll simply cause overtaunting and that's simply bad design. Another thing is, no one is gonna say "sorry dude i already taunted, you just gotta take this next big hit without Major Maim". So yeah, not reliable. Needs to have another and reliable proc requirement. We should be able to proc this before the next big hit.
    Haven of Ursus (Heavy)
    2: Max Health
    3: Healing Taken
    4: Max Health
5: When you take damage while you are under 50% Health, summon Ursus’s spirit for 6 seconds. You or an ally can activate a synergy on Ursus to grant you a shield that protects you and the activator from 13954 damage for 6 seconds. This effect can occur once every 12 seconds.

This is actually interesting. We might see people using this set against Olms because you definitely will go below 50% Health there. Most important part is this, "You or an ally can activate a synergy". It gives you a synergy. One with 12 seconds cooldown. At least I hope so. If the cooldown itself is 20 seconds, then it is basically not reliable and bad. I think the Health threshold should be increased to 60-70% and the synergy cooldown from this set needs to be 12 seconds instead of 20.
    Rune Focus:
This ability and its morphs now apply Major Ward, Major Resolve, and all morph effects to you directly for 15 seconds.
Standing within the area of effect now increases the Major Ward and Major Resolve effects by 50%.

Templar tanks got a buff they didn't really need in PvE. I am talking about the 50% increase of course, not the sticky Armour buffs. Templars have the worst stamina sustain and nothing about that changed so yeah. Meh.
    Winter’s Embrace
Arctic Wind: Increased the initial heal from this ability and its morphs to 15% of your Max Health from 12%.

Still meh healing. Budding Seeds heals for similar amount, a lot cheaper, bigger AOE, provides synergy and procs Nature's Gift. I don't see a reason to run it to be honest.

For the WW players who want to tank, sorry. It's not happening as it seems.

As for the Class Rep Program, I am quite happy about most of these changes as someone who casually plays PvP. Not really happy with PvE stuff as I don't see much of what we discussed except few but hopefully we'll see more PvE changes during the next few weeks.

Good, its about time to do something to PvP. All ZOS focuses on is PvE lmfao. You guys have enough content.

[*]Fixed an issue where the Traitor's Vault had an excessive number of lootable wardrobes.

[removed comment] You are taking away one of the enjoyable things that farmers like to do and making the Alinor furniture plans an actual reasonable price!! You've already gone in and made it so that at least half of those wardrobes don't contain anything and are empty, even on logging out.. so what.. now you're going to remove it so only 1 or 2 of them are left.

      [snip]

This is not something that needs to be changed.. Leave it alone. Reverse this change... it's not warranted.

      Xsorus wrote: »
The Defile Changes have to be the dumbest thing i've seen so far.

You've basically set yourself up for people now saying Healing is Massively Overpowered next patch.

and by reducing it from 10 seconds to 4 seconds on things like Reverb Bash you're now forcing everyone to use Duroks or Ward of Cyrodiil now because the Reverb Bash Stamina Cost is so high.

      [removed bashing comment]

The duration of the Defiles or CCs have never been the issue... It's the stacking and lack of true CC immunity, particularly in PVP.
If a player uses break free or other CC immunity items, they SHOULD be immune to ALL CCs for that FULL period of time, no matter what.. but they aren't and that's the problem. That immunity also needs to be a reasonable time, like for 10-15 seconds, giving players time to respond with characters especially with the ever increasing LAG.

Hell, even in VetMaelstrom Arena, it has become a CC fest with a huge portion of the enemies, particularly when you also have to deal with the LAG in this game on top of it.

Is it just me or this "balance update" is missing balance part of it ?

[removed bashing comment] It's clear they are making changes, just to make changes and not listening to a lot of what the Class Reps had to say. They also aren't taking a lot of the PVE community into consideration with these changes.

If they REALLY want to balance this game, they need to go back and seperate the PVP and PVE game structures so they do not affect one another. THAT is the only way this game is EVER going to be balanced.

For every PVP change they make, they end up nerfing PVE characters... characters that actually need to be buffed, without going back and fixing the higher damage enemies in end game to match those nerfs. Players are getting sick and tired of it.

PTS: 3,600 magicka return minus 1,891 cost = 1,709 total magicka return

      Keep Recall Stones
We’ve added a new method of navigating Cyrodiil! Keep Recall Stones are new items you use from your inventory or quickslot wheel to recall to a Keep or Outpost. These can be purchased for 20,000 AP or earned from Rewards of the Worthy. There are several restrictions in place to use these items:

You cannot recall to a structure that is under attack (shown on the UI as a starburst icon).
You cannot recall to a structure while standing inside the region of a Keep, Resource, Outpost or Town.
You cannot use a Recall Stone while actively in combat.
Recall Stones can be used while in Caves of Cyrodiil, but not in the Imperial City.
Recall Stones are account bound, so they can be banked but not traded to other players.
You cannot use a Recall Stone while carrying an Elder Scroll.

So basically a 20k AP blood port. No thanks. Usually get those for free

Yeah, I'm wondering if I'm missing something here. 20k isn't overly expensive, but not the sort of thing I'll be using 10+ times a night just to zip around the map, especially when blood porting is still a thing.

This got me to wondering if ZOS perhaps intends on doing away with blood porting in some way in the future? Maybe put a radius around you when you die. No keep/camp within that radius and back to the gates with you.

As long as bloodporting is a thing, this stone just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Just adding insult to injury at this point:

Live server Channeled Focus: 5,160 magicka return over 26 seconds (after initial 1,080 cost is subtracted)

PTS server Channeled Focus: 3,418 magicka return over 30 seconds (after cost of two casts is subtracted)

I think that's the right math...

Well... its not all that great... But it is the PTS. So theres still a chance that a constructive well-written and reasonable response would get the devs to change it all before it goes live.

Not going to lie though... the rune cage "nerf" wasn't the problem. It's that trying to break free from it feels impossible for some reason.

The sloads change doesnt help all that much with the problem of it being stackable... unmitigated damage from a large variety of people is pretty deadly...

The changes to range for cqc builds kinda sucks if you don't increase the damage a bit...

The Werewolf changes could be improved.flat 10,000 resistance when in werewolf form doesn't seem to equal up to a 33% damage reduction at all times in stage 4 when below 50%...

Quite a number of people are still asking about the feedback but maybe that feedback will come with the Murkmire update and there just getting everything ready...
