Sorry guys, there was a bit of miscommunication (it was my fault). The fix is being rolled out today, so they will be available for purchase in the Crown Store tomorrow morning.
What about the fix for players who already bought it? Are we just ignoring that issue @ZOS_GinaBruno
It's not being ignored. As mentioned in the patch notes, we're still working on getting everyone fixed and will get this done as soon as we can.

Er... I don't want to be one of ones dog-piling on y'all... but the maintenance came and went, and the motifs are still NOT in the Crown Store? Did somethiing get miscommunicated again?

Isn't this technically false advertising? The studio has us log into to buy something that isnt available. If McDonalds advertised a new burger and didnt have it, they'd get sued for false advertising.

Bumping this to front page because a lot of people aren't seeing it and are asking why they're not in the crown store yet

SO agree!! ^^
Well, I guess I should thank Zo$. After waiting for what? 5, 6 weeks for something that should have been in game, but was "delayed" to give priority to the Crowns Store and now more wait and they don't work? Glad I didn't buy it like some did.
Guess I'll save my $80 and just keep the stack of un-craftable Master Writs in my bank.
And I JUST got "un-annoyed from the "Summerset CE Pre-Order" fiasco.
No huzzahs for you Zo$.....

You're accusing ZOS of being greedy, yet you were willing on dropping $80 on a couple cosmetic Motif style books...

And of course, many of the people who sell those potions are also the people who buy these motifs, so it's a nice example of the kind of mutually-beneficial exchange in the player economy.

You... do realize that there are other options for people who can't farm them, right? I know some players who have farmed the dungeons non-stop since the motifs were released, selling them to make gold. These are players who struggled to afford the potions needed to do trials, who saw the motifs as an opportunity to get the gold needed to finance potions, gear upgrades, etc.
There's a reason why people in the PvE community hate the simultaneous Crown Store release, because this is one of the few ways these kinds of people have to make the gold to afford the high cost of potions and other expenses. And of course, many of the people who sell those potions are also the people who buy these motifs, so it's a nice example of the kind of mutually-beneficial exchange in the player economy. An exchange that ZOS undermines and saps with the Crown Store offering.
And the Crown cost is quite substantial, too. 10K crowns for both motifs. At the "street value" of crowns (based on the offers of people who "gift" CS items in exchange for gold in zone chat), those 10K crowns are worth about 2 million gold. You can buy these motifs for less gold than that, while also supporting the player-to-player economy. If you don't like what the suits at ZOS are doing, then why reward them with CS purchases?
Customer service is just refunding my crowns. To me that solution just makes the most sense right now, assuming the fix isn't up by the time the crown store is updated to re-purchase the fang lair motif.
Can you guys just buzz off of Gina for a bit? Don't shoot the messenger lol
