It's not being ignored. As mentioned in the patch notes, we're still working on getting everyone fixed and will get this done as soon as we can.

What does that mean? Do we need to submit tickets for refunds? Or are you going to have this fixed within the next few days, few months, few years? You guys should have implemented a fix for players who already bought this alongside the fix for new purchases. And if you couldn't fix this for existing purchases along with future purchases then you should have automatically issued refunds so players can just repurchase it. I shouldn't have to tell you that.

You guys need to issue automatic refunds when stuff like this happens and you can't perform an immediate fix. This is unacceptable and you know it.

Do you even look through the thread? Gina updated us and said that the fix is today, the motifs go live on the crown store again tomorrow.

This is like the 6th or 7th major failure to roll out motifs correctly. We literally just had problems the last two updates.

Is this failure to add to testing or failure to execute? This fiasco is costing ZoS and ZMI money and alienating players. Is there a plan in place to prevent more of this?

I ask only because of all studios this one seems to shoot itself in the same place while other AAA studios seem to not make the same mistakes 4 or more times.

Isn't this technically false advertising? The studio has us log into to buy something that isnt available. If McDonalds advertised a new burger and didnt have it, they'd get sued for false advertising.

Naw, false advertising essentially "tricks" the customer into buying something. You gotta be able to buy it first and foremost.

Now featuring a motif and advertising that you can use the motif and craft armor/ weapons in that style, only to have the motif bug out is a little closer to false advertising.

Customer service is just refunding my crowns. To me that solution just makes the most sense right now, assuming the fix isn't up by the time the crown store is updated to re-purchase the fang lair motif.

The Elder Scrolls Online v4.0.11 includes a fix for the fall damage bug (you know the one…) and a number of invisibility issues including invisible players, invisible enemies, invisible buildings, and . We’re also adding the Fang Lair and Scalecaller crafting Motifs back to the Crown Store – with their associated bugs fixed - and will make sure anyone affected by last week’s bug will be fixed in the near future. The size of this patch is 87MB.

the patch note said would be back in the crown store, but not seeing the Fang Lair and Scalecaller Motifs is there going to be a update on this

Thanks for calling this out. I was very confused.

On a semi-related/semi-unrelated matter (strange bugs), I logged in yesterday for the daily login award and was told it would be available in 8 hours. I played a bit, then logged off and back in ~8 hours later only to see the daily login award would be available in 19 hours. Today (~24 hours later) the daily login awards are missing.

I know Gina and team are doing their best following a major update (and all the hiccups that comes with a major update), but this round of patches have been a bit more troublesome than usual.

Well, actually I was.Since I couldn't farm it and I have Master writ Donations from guildies for Guild Hall Craft Tables, which I can not do, and said Guild Hall was bought with crowns, it is not about "dropping $" as I have subbed since day 1, and "dropped I don't know how much real $ on stuff...... It is about how ZoS has handled this and how the crown store has become more of a priority than the actual game imo....
Because we drop money in this game, whether sub's or Crown Store, does not diminish the fact that the "cash grab" has increased in the last year or two.
Having worked in the Corporate World, I don't blame Gina or any of the dev's, because it is the Board of Directors, the Jerry Berkheimer's and Robert Trump's that sit on Zenimax Medias BoD that make these decisions.
I know that the dev's want to, nay desire to make ESO as awesome as they can, but at the end of the day they have boss's they have to answer to, and they are the one's that thought it was a brilliant idea to hold in game items to coincide with the Crown Store.
Just my two drakes....

Besides other existing problems, and never fixed, the last 2 patches made the game almost unplayable ( lots of invisible walls, npc and players, lag, random errors, disconnects etc..etc....not working daily rewards..etc..etc..problems with shaders....no fix for jewelry master writs ..not working crown store ...

ZOS ur an AAA company ..how this could be possible?

You... do realize that there are other options for people who can't farm them, right? I know some players who have farmed the dungeons non-stop since the motifs were released, selling them to make gold. These are players who struggled to afford the potions needed to do trials, who saw the motifs as an opportunity to get the gold needed to finance potions, gear upgrades, etc.

And of course, many of the people who sell those potions are also the people who buy these motifs, so it's a nice example of the kind of mutually-beneficial exchange in the player economy. At the "street value" of crowns (based on the offers of people who "gift" CS items in exchange for gold in zone chat), those 10K crowns are worth about 2 million gold. You can buy these motifs for less gold than that, while also supporting the player-to-player economy. If you don't like what the suits at ZOS are doing, then why reward them with CS purchases?

Yep, I'm one of those buying motifs and selling pots and can agree that it's really a great way of having people do the things they like while being able to make gold to buy the things they want buy wouldn't enjoy getting themselves.

Presumably they’ll be rereleased in about 40 minutes, at 10 eastern (US). I believe that’s the constant time when crown store items go in and out of stock.

Unfotunately, even if the "street value" can lead to a better deal, there is no guarantee that street transactions complete. Getting conned is waaaaay too easy.

The problem with this is that there is an issue with whatever character that read the motifs... so refunding your Crowns isn't going to automatically fix your account and I doubt re-buying and reusing them on the character will work because it will say your character already knows the motif... if you are using a craft character... not sure if you read the motif on a different character. One would think most players are using the motif on their craft character, which means they will have to wait until ZOS rolls out a 'fix' to your account before you can access the motifs.

People paid 5000 crowns, almost $40 for something that is completely broken and have gotten no refund or fix.

If they didn't want their messenger to be shot they should've given her a better message. One stating everyone who purchased the books would get immediate refunds without having to go through a support ticket would've been acceptable i think.
