Is 20% off crowns enough discount to get you to purchase?

The only crowns I've bought other than via ESO Plus were so I could get Twin Arches (my one and only non-inn home thus far). I am strongly considering buying crowns for the Alinor Townhome, however, as it's exactly what I want in an ESO home (logical room layout, elegant fittings, great location, lovely view from the terrace, sized to make furnishing every room doable within the item limit).

But.

I don't know how many crowns it will cost, I have no income, only leftover funds from when I was working, and 20% off doesn't feel like enough of a bargain to make me deplete my bank balance further than my sub already costs. So hopefully the house will be a permanent offering and when I either have crowns built up from my sub or a 50% sale comes along, *then* I can buy it.

It's perm house not limited time and its about 1.3mil gold so save up and dont was real money for it

Yes. I wanted the Hew's Bane house and Indrik mount. This makes it easier to commit to the purchase. It's still overpriced, but it's better than paying full price, and it's still cheaper than subbing for the crowns.

I was going to buy the 21000 crown pack that should have been for 75.00 but there is absolutely no way I will buy it for 199.99

If this is the new price for crowns... welp.. no more buying crowns for me. Good job, ZOS. I probably needed to spend that money somewhere else anyway.

You weren't going to buy those crowns anyway if there wasn't a sale at all, so there is no loss to ZOS. If this sale increases sales over what they would have normally been with no sale, it is a success for them.

I never bargain chase IRL either. I buy things as I need/want them. I'm financially well off. Bargain chasing often results in spending more money on things you don't need because you fear missing out on a great deal.

The discount (or not) is not why I won't buy crowns.

I have nothing to spend them on. They put most of the desirable items in crown crates, which I refuse to gamble on. So I stopped buy crowns in general. No sale will change that.

I never have and never will buying Crowns, its agains my playstyle. For me a rpg or mmorpg stands for role playing game were you develop your character by playing the game.

I wish we were back in the Pay to Play era...

Yes, but barely, like only on virtue of it being a discount at all I guess? Like, it it were a better discount I'd definitely buy more than just a single paltry pack, but I mean, my supply was running low, so I figured it's better to get some now for when I need them later when Summerset comes out, 'cuz hell if I'm buying ALL of those crowns full price, but there's no way I'd go out of my way to actually build a stockpile with just a 20% discount.

Amounts vary. As I said, in August last year those on pc got 40% discount and those on ps4 did not.

I am a bit miffed, as I was probably going to buy at least ten 21k packs if they offered the same 50% off rate they did at Christmas time.

I am all for the pay to win, and I have a feeling the 20% discount is the new norm. I will still buy at least three 21k packs and hope I am wrong.

It would have been nice if the 21k packs were at least 33% off for $100 bucks instead of the $120. They're effectively losing $400 more dollars I would've spent if it were at the 50% off price.

I'll probably buy some, not as much as I did when they were 50% off but maybe 14,000. Both the 14,000 and 21,000 packs give the best crowns/buck deal but I would have bought a lot more if they were discounted heavily.

Nope. Not good enough. I usually purchase one of the larger options available during the sale, in the past buying multiple of the 40 dollar option before they added the larger amounts. But this 20 percent sale is not worth it.
