Is 20% off crowns enough discount to get you to purchase?

I don't buy crowns, I just use the ones from ESO+. There is little in the store that I want, and crown crates are an abomination.

But if it was a really good discount, I might buy some.

While I understand a sale is a sale I won’t be buying at 20 percent off when I know they offer crowns at better price. I will say I feel a bit insulted st 20 percent when we know they offer better

If you care at all about getting an actual sale, you should just not buy them at all until they are on an actual sale.

I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money. I'm sure most people here are responsible adults. All I'll say is, if you care about decent business practices, you should probably consider voting with your wallet.

Honestly, I've never waited for a sale so it isn't a factor for me. What they are selling is either worth it to me or it is not. I was going to buy 5500 this weekend when I didn't know a sale was coming so I can honestly say in my case waiting makes no sense. I won't be spending extra but I won't deny myself something I was going to get anyway. As for others, I agree they should vote with their wallets if it is that important to them. I just disagree with the "getting screwed" comment. If I would spend full price saving 20% isn't getting screwed.

I'm not going to buy crowns in this sale, but it's not entirely because of the price, although that's certainly one factor.

There's nothing in the May crownstore showcase I really want, and it's not a good time for me to be spending money on ESO because there's a lot of other demands on my spare cash at the moment.

If it was a 50% discount I might be tempted on the basis that I'll certainly buy crowns at some point in the future and I'm not likely to get a better deal than that. But equally I'd buy crowns at full price if there was something I wanted and I thought it was worth that much.

Unfortunately for both me and ZOS the combination of the price of crowns going up in the UK a while ago, the increasing prices of items in the crown store and the amount of nice items which go into crates instead of direct sale has lead to me buying a lot less stuff than I might otherwise do.

I won't be buying crowns during the sale, but that has nothing to do with the cost of crowns or the size of the discount and everything to do with the fact that there's never anything good I need to spend crowns on. Subbing has already provided all the crowns I need for all the giant bugs, overpriced costumes, and ugly-ass crippled looking dog/horse mutants I could want.

I say no though I wil still end up buying a small pack. Been savig and waiting for what I thought was a usual big sale though doesn't matter too much. I will just get a bit less then planned and spend it sparingly instead of splurging out on fancy things I would hardly ever use

I've grown accustomed to the 50% sale so I'm going to be holding out for that. I usually stock up big time during those sales, 20% isn't a large enough discount for me to justify buying bulk.

That said, I do appreciate the sales that ZoS offers on crowns, as they are rather expensive. If there was anything I really wanted, I would buy just enough crowns to purchase said item and stock up during the 50% sales. With that being said, nothing in the upcoming showcase has peaked my interest, so I'm skipping out on this sale. Looking forward to dropping $150 or so on the next 50% sale though.

I bought crowns on sale one time so I could grab a house I wanted. That was first and last time. I subscribe six months at a time and usually use those crowns for furniture. Right now there is nothing in the store I want so the crowns I do have are just sitting there.

Feel the same - I had set aside cash to buy crowns, but that was thinking it would be 40% discount 20% takes them back to last years price so will pass now - I don’t really ‘need’ anything, but would have indulged had the price been right!
