    I'm more than a little disappointed to see that Magicka DK isn't getting any love, while yet another poison damage set is coming out. Overall, though, seems like a solid update.

    There's some really grossly overpowered stuff in there. This might be the end of PvP.

    I truely hope so, then my pve dd can finally quit being ripped apart for the crappy pvp junk.

    So there's two nerfs to werewolves then, as if poison builds were not bad enough
    Wishing for Lilmothiit race still! Or maybe Lilmothiit companion?

    According to small portion of skills ,passives , sets changes it may look like You zenimax developers thinks ballance is close to beeing poerfect but You dont think that right ? Tell me You dont think that... There will be more skills , passives and sets changes in this PTS cycle right ?

    Let's be clear that anyone [snip] about magdk is doing so on a pve level. They haven't been viable in end game trials and for many of us who love the play style are just bummed to see them yet again become the scapegoat and recipient for *** changes to melee dps. As for pvp, again yet another reason to separate pve and pvp. A buff to eruption and maybe some sort of passive execute damage could have helped.

    which increase that duration to about 8 seconds. Not sure a sorc would give up a 5pc for 2 seconds lol

    Sooo, about Riplar changes:

    If you fixed sweeps and gave it a new shiny tooltip, how come it hits weaker on PTS then on a setup identical on live NA server? Is this intended?

    Love these patch notes! I especially love the concept of the Laan monster set. I like sets like that and essence thief that add mechanics to play to (though don't use essence thief in endgame things (just appreciate its fun-ness :p))!

    When a nearby enemy damages you, summon a growing pool of desecrated bile for 8 seconds. Enemies in the bile receive 430 Disease Damage every 1 second and are afflicted with Minor Maim and Minor Defile, reducing their damage done and healing received by 15%. This effect can occur once every 8 seconds.

    This with Duroks... Oh, the pain and tears this will create... @Irylia you mentioned that you will run Duroks until the end of time... :trollface: major buff!

    Very disappointed by off-balance on bosses nerf - there goes charged Lightning staff heavy attack build on my magDK and there goes “diversity”. Though, double resource return is good for meta DPS builds, less heavy attacks in rotation, huh.

    I am blind or no earthgore changes?

    Abou channeling interrupts - no point to slot an interruption skill? If interruption stuns for 3 secs and grants CC immunity which grants interrupt immunity? Wtf? Counter play much?

    Yes... yess.... YESS!!!
    That and duroks. I can now use double dot poisons for more pressure and the defile up time is higher. I also benefit from the minor maim.
    This means I can slot master inferno for the dot dmg in some match ups and then do 3x trans with vma resto. atro witchmothers and a regen glyph.

    We will see we will see.

    Not that I'm liking it, because most bad Sorcs can't recast within 6 seconds. But how does this make Sorcs stronger in a direct fight ? They must spam shields if they want to survive, no shield ever lasts for 9 seconds.

    Also, the stats are horrible. Only sustain, no damage. Making that Sorc burst even more pitiful. Let them wear that set and enjoy weakened shields due to lower magicka and less damage output thanks to bad 2-4 set stats.

    (5) When you hit a taunted monster with a fully-charged Heavy Attack or any enemy that is stunned or immobilized with a fully-charged Heavy Attack, you deal an additional 12040 Physical Damage. This effect can occur once every 7 seconds.

    (4) Weapon Damage(5) When you take damage, you summon a Skeever corpse which will launch a poison ball that deals 5160 Poison Damage every 1.5 seconds at the nearest enemy for 6 seconds. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

    Atleasy then we'd have a usefull 5 pc. And to make pvpers not whine, make it affect pve only

    Already with this change dds will consistently get use of their 5 pc

    If i understand the heavy attack changes right, they are pretty bad. In solo play it kills the last piece of sustain magicka dks had, honestly. On top of that, while having to use the heavy attacks strategically might seem like a good idea, it is very very bad in practice.

    On St Olms you might get off-balance when he is immune, also you have to use a bufftracker to know when there is off-balance, and especially for progression guilds thats gonna be a big issue.

    What we are gonna have is a lot of people screaming "it is off-balance" and everyone is gonna spam heavy attacks. Dragonknights have borderline sustain right now, but with an off-balance uptime of 26.6% (4 second duration/15 second cooldown) they're not gonna have any advantage of this system. Spammign flame lash within this period doesnt give back resources, and for the rest of the time you're gonna have the same sustain issues as now. Just remove the cooldown and tone down the xploiter passive a bit... let us have better sustain in raids, please.

    The rest sounds nice, but way too many proc sets again.... please come up with something else next update, i cant see 1k dps proc sets anymore, seriously.

    Yeah...I know they said that, but I hope they reconsider. Players who've maxed out all character slots with all level 50 characters will miss out on some nice bonuses unless they fork over real money (1500 crowns for an additional slot):

While I like that it's available earlier than Cadwell's silver (or is it gold?), I don't like that in order to get it on my new level 50 character, I will have to finish their main alliance quest line, the main quest line/Coldharbour, plus silver (and potentially gold) in the next month in order to obtain it. Yes, I know that it doesn't matter with the outfit system, but I would like to have the motif on all my characters.

    It would seem that at least the motif could be retroactive - they made it retroactive when first they introduced it, so I don't see why they can't do so again.

    Please ZOS, please consider making the motif retroactive to level 50 characters who haven't yet finished Cadwell's (or have it still be a reward for Cadwell's in addition to level 40.

    Also, please consider making the account-wide rewards retroactive rather than forcing veteran players to purchase an additional character slot.

    The Minor Lifesteal debuff applied by this ability and its morphs will no longer aggro monsters.

    Can Radiant Aura also be fixed so it doesn't aggro monsters, the skill is still not great but it hasn't been fixed for a very long time.

    Overall there's a lot of nice things in there. The change to the off-balance system is really interesting. I do see why some player aren't fond of it since it will lower the overall DPS but in my mind it will also significantly improve the balance between magicka and stamina as for allowing magicka user to rebalance cp tree more efficiently. Also I do really like the fact that it will allow harder resource managing's combination the power to keep up with stamina dk's or even magblade while keeping those two combination worthwhile.There is also a possibility for magdk in melee range as most dps will use inferno staff with one shock enchant. It's not a given yet but it does seems as a possibility. Only issue with that in my mind is that it will add something new to the learning curve that some player might take time to adjust to.

    Only two aspects I really wonder about are :

    A) Interrupting a channelling will bring a CC immunity to the player, and it will prevent this ability to be further interrupt... I know we've seen a lot less channelling issue lately with the bug of the Templar execute but I do really wonder if bringing those two aspects together might not create something which isn't really miss. I would understand that the interruption follow the guideline for CC immunity, but I'm not certain about the interruption being impossible during CC immunity...

    B) I'm not proud of this one but I've notice people who told us that the bonus from the assistant leveling system will not be available to already grown character and I do not like the idea of it. I understand that with 12 max level, I might be receiving a fair share of reward off that bonus system and that might not be the goal for it but I also don't understand why me being in that situation should be disregard or count as worthless at the eyes of ZOS... makes me wonder. Am I a second level player ?

    As a pve player, this patch is amazing and I cannot wait to play it. I believe this is the best patch yet :)

    But from pvp joint of view, ZoS has yet to implement the most basic QoL change. The ability to enter a campaign in a "guest" alliance (or call it join as a traitor if you wish). That's the only reason my friends and I are not playing pvp... at all... We cannot play the characters we want as a group in the same alliance. We could level up new characters, but we do not want to level up a second character of the same role/class for pvp as we'd rather save the character slot for a new class/role...

    At the moment we take pvp as a chore required to get caltrops. We do that on our own for 2 evenings while the other friends are having fun together in pve...

    That being said, thank you ZoS for this patch. It looks amazing.

    I'm glad they are removing the AOE damage reduction against zergs but at the same time the current meta of groups being centered around having a bunch of Destro Ults and everyone else running cancer builds that are meant to just stay alive and support the Destro Ult needs to change. AOE Ultimate damage is way too high. Stamina Ultimates are not even close in damage against a zerg and that's why you see mostly Magicka players in these large groups. The release of the Destruction Staff Ultimate is when combat in Cyrodiil took one of it's worst turns and it needs to be corrected.

    well I didnt expect many changes to Dk, but damn, I didnt expect to see literally nothing at all.

    Edit: I guess the AOE changes are somewhat good for the overall health of PvP.
    Edit2: I guess this is patch is mostly general QoL stuff.Maybe Its time to take my shovel knight for a vacation.

    You're right but there are changes that indirectly affect the DK. Take a look at the blocking, 2H, 1H/Shield notes for example, all nerfs basically.
