    The loft space of the Exorcised Coven Cottage is no longer blocked off, and is now accessible.

    Of all the changes, this is the most important. Thank you ZOS!
    Updated the "Hagraven Cauldron, Rough Stone" furnishing. It is now called “Hagraven Cauldron, Ritual”, and can be lit to produce bright green flames. This furnishing can be found in the “Enchanted Lights” category of the Housing Editor.

    No, it is also against other players in PVP.

    My best guess is that they designed that change around improving magDK PVE performance, and haven't given a lot of though to how it will impact PVP. As is on PTS now, Power Lash is now a spammable that both damages and heals with a 5-digit tooltip and costs literally nothing. I know magDKs have been calling for a buff, but this is just over the top.

    I wanted a buff for PVE more that lets them be competitive with other melee stam DPS in trials. More like the off balance changes will make sustain worse, so I guess the "buff" is not really a buff as usual...
    Lower spell costs and maybe a buff to Eruption (it costs a ton and could do more damage) to help with sustain is what I wanted most. Sustain is terrible on MDK.

    So let me get this straight...my Mag DK gets 20% block cost reduction, I can stun enemies with my power lash and aoe caps got removed and people still say there is no buff for MagDks? Haha, ya, sure :-)

    What a day: my 4th Year Anniversary AND amazing Natch Potes

    A couple of my picks
    Jorvuld’s Guidance (Light)
    • Magicka Recovery
    • Magicka Recovery
    • Healing Done
    • Increases the duration of all Major buffs, Minor buffs, and damage shields you apply to yourself and allies by 40%.

    This really looks like a great set for a healer, allowing for higher uptimes on rather important buffs (War Horn for instance).
    Battlegrounds
    • Battlegrounds are once again No-CP for all levels.
    • Decreased the respawn timer for player character to 20 seconds from 30 seconds for Chaosball in Ald Carac.
    • Increased the Alliance Point rewards for your team’s placement in Battlegrounds. This equates to the following:
      • 100% increase in AP if your team comes in first place, or a new total of 12,000 AP
      • 175% increase in AP if your team comes in second place, or a new total of 11,000 AP
      • 400% increase in AP if your team comes in third place, or a new total of 10,000 AP

    I'm happy that Battlegrounds are once again non-CP. Lower CP players can once again jump in and compete on equal footing again and the overall balance will definitely see improvement
    Warden, Balance Changes
    • Green Balance
      • Healing Seed: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 28%.

    Warden, Bug Fixes
    • Animal Companions
      • Swarm: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were not being considered damage over time effects for various passive bonuses or procs.

    The Healing Seed cost reduction is an unexpected but pleasant change.

    But Y'ffre's Beard... that Swarm fix is gonna be monstrous. Plz excuse me while I go swap to the Growing Swarm morph and equip some Skoria... >:)
    General
    • Area of Effect abilities now deal full damage to all targets hit, instead of having a damage penalty after hitting 7 or more targets. Secondary effects from those Area of Effect abilities (snares, stuns, etc.) are still capped at 6 targets.
      Developer Comment:
      We want to encourage more tactical group play where players are encouraged to spread out instead of stacking in a tight ball. We’re still evaluating this aspect of AoE caps, and will make adjustments in the future as necessary.

    This will make Cyrodiil combat a lot more agreeable. Thank you so much


    So far so good. Still secretly hoping for better Frost Staff improvements (and the taunt removal) but I'm really digging the changes :)

    I hope you are joking... you want to give even more power to all AOE ? Why ? It has almost no flaws.. it can't be dodged, it can't be blocked.... all you can do is just try to run out of it or over-heal I just don't understand.

    And clearly Destro ulti is not OP (sarcasm) and it is not used at all in PvP (sarcasm) and literary no one complained abut being killed by it (sarcasm) and there are no Destro ulti zerg-trains in Cyrodiil...

    You can't be serious right?

    The current system empowers the brainless zergballs so hard. Just get as many people as you can, and you get 50% damage reduction from AOE for doing absolutely nothing whatsoever.

    Then again, judging from the comment, you are probably one of the pugling zergsurfers.

    this is lame because I just caught on to this been fighting group q for weeks for stones only completing 1 out of 3 dungeons I enter because the people in q are idiots.

    Finally found a way to get stones on my own and that is down the drain.

    Ok thank you for removing AOE caps! I think the debuffs should follow the old formula for damage as removing the ability to cc break, IMHO, is worse than the damage.

    Also thank you on the off balance changes, huge improvement in dogs for NB. That said, @ZOS_GinaBruno I really think one of the PvE DPS gripes for NB is wonky weaving on funnel health and shooting the spectral bow on grim focus not auto recasting the skill.

    Funnel health will still consume the damage of an LA, maybe it's just me, while still doing the LA animation, if cast too soon. No other skill is like that in my rotation.

    With the increase in LA/HA attacks to get the spectral bow + it requiring it's own recast, I can't get value out of this great skill.

    [*]The chance of obtaining a Xivkyn Motif chapter from a Daedric Cache in Imperial City is now dependent on your Tel Var Stone multiplier: the more Stones you carry, the more likely you are to obtain a Xivkyn Motif chapter. If you have a full 4x Tel Var Stone multiplier, you are guaranteed to receive a chapter.

    No offense, but I can think of a few things that need "fixes + improvements" much more urgently than this :p

    I like a lot of the changes, some of them don't effect me at all, but I really hope you guys will look into werewolves more, we haven't had anything good happen to us for numerous patches.

    It's because it's not shown specifically under class balance. Also power whip can be used multiple times in pvp too.

    These changes are amazing though I still worry about openworld defense/mobility

    In no specific order:

    -New sets look interesting.

    -Block cost change. On my DK I don't sit there and hold block an entire fight. You don't need to, especially if you know the mechanics of all the dungeons and their boss's. Shouldn't be a huge issue for tanks who actually know how to tank. If you are PvPing and do nothing but turtle behind a shield, well, stinks to be you.

    -Synergy. nice, not terrible. However I think a 30 second C/D is WAY to much.

    - 8 chests total. Love it. But 4 look the same and the other 4 look the same? I don't want to knit pick but you really couldn't design 8 DIFFERENT boxes? Boxes people.....boxes.....You aren't designing a trials boss here...

    -Gap closers. Who asked for this change? If anything increase,their cost not reduce damage if you REALLY feel the need to change them. Let's be honest, you may have nerfed the majority of gap closers but this is really because people complained about NB's spamming ambush lol. Give ambush a minimum range and there would of been less complaining. Overall though, I could care less as I don't use gap closers to do damage i use them to, well, close gaps lol.

    -WW. I'm not a WW but I can certainly see why people aren't happy. It's a nerf no matter how you want to look at it.

    -RotW. Whatever, they clog up my mail box and I just sell, decon, or destroy everything anyways. Not sure why people are freaking out about it.

    -Off balance change. I like the "more resources" during a heavy attack during target off balance but overall the change is horrible. The immunity is silly long and it's going to kill any build diversity that barely exists already. Thanks for killing my Sorc hahaha!

    -Removed the means by which Miats works. At least i believe that's what the patch does. Sweet. I will say this though; there has been 1000000000 posts complaining about Miats. They finally listened, as they should. It's a cheap add on. But if you same people immediately come to the forums to complain about an increase in gankers I swear I will spend the next month creating the sickiest and nastiest gank build and tell everyone about it so we can ruin your day further, lol.

    -No buff to DK's? You sure about that bub? I see one or two good things for my DK.

    -Where are the buffs to medium? I've ALWAYS said medium armor wasn't that bad, but then again I wear it on my NB which admittedly does quite well with it compared to other classes. I don't agree with those who say it's incredibly weak or useless but I would at least agree it does need a little bit of a buff.

    -AoE caps. People complained about zergs and too much AoE. ZoS gave us a tool(s) to battle so called zergs. People then took said tool(s) and made their zergs more powerful, thus doing the opposite of what was intended. They gave AoE a cap to stop said tools and ball zergs from rolling over everyone. Then, people complain they hate zergs and they are to powerful so we need to remove AoE caps to destroy said zergs. Which brings us back to the beginning of the cycle. Congratulations lol. Let me be very clear, I do not care about zergs. When I see them, I don't stand in their way. I don't roll with them either, as they cause lag and its obnoxious when people steal my kill. But ya'll need to make up your bloody minds. I don't think this is going to work out how you want it to work out. Players will find a way to make Cyrodiil life intolerable because humans are terrible.

    Overall, decent stuff with some underlying issues and things that need some TLC are not getting it. O well I guess. At least you'll be able to make a shiny new outfit! OOOO SHINY! I still give a mostly thumbs up to the patch....as if it matters lol.

    The 3 second cool down on cast and channel abilities of ranged attacks is a bad idea. I say this because there are ranged interrupts. But, while dizzy swing still gets to fire away undaunted. So either make it equal for melee attacks or get rid of the cool down.

    And, don't start with the argument of people don't use the range interrupts because if something like this takes effect you can be certain that everyone that has a bow or a destro staff, ie the majority of people in cryodiil, is going to be slotting the range interrupt.

    This is also a massive nerf for templars again. Who has the most cast time abilities that can be interrupted by this? Sure you got snipe that gets hit with this and crystal frags. But, snipe is usually coming from stealth and the majority of times crystal frags is only fired when it has the instant cast proc. However, this basically makes 3 of the templars best abilities useless. I shouldn't say best considering RD already got nerfed to the point of useless.
