It's a duration increase though....hardly a buff unless you're in a fight where your shields last the full duration.
how u can see in this video when u use toppling charge after u hit the enemy u dont fall in front on him, u just fall inside him at the same point, so u cant hit him with light attks and proc glyphs or even hit yhe enemy with skills, LOOK TO MY SKILL BAR... I CANT USE ANY SKILL AFTER A TOPLLING CHARGE, because the enemy is "out of the range"... how can we make combos? bTw if we are in the same posiion of the enemy puncuring WILL NOT WORK, the enemy will walk through the Templar and completely leave the puncturing range area. im gonna ask again, how can we make combos if we cant hit the enemy??? 5 months, im talking about this bug since september.
If im hitting the enemy with the spearhead i must fall in front of him 1 - 3 meters of him, so ill have a good area for puncuring, ill be able to hit him and make combos...

Not sure what you mean. It seams Mag DKs get a huge benefit from the changes to power lash in PVE.
I am really intrigued by these changes and I support anything that makes mechanics usable in this game.

So, you just nerf off-balance and provide nothing else to compensate for PVE group DPS?
as for me it is good step to lower some power creep to which you got used to it which slowly destroing game where was needed very hurting nerf to some classes, skill because of just pve power creep in dps to melt bosss, trash as fast as you can to skip mechanics
now waiting for some more tune down dps in pve instead of nerfing everything flat

It doesn't increase shield strength, it only increases their duration. Not a big deal.

It´s a bad change of rmagDK PvE. Since Morrowind MagDK is the only class/setup that needed off-balance (because huge sustain issues). All other classes/setups took benefits from it, but never needed it to perform. Sure, the overall DPS would go down a bit on other classes, but no other class would have sustain issue without off-balance.So, you just nerf off-balance and provide nothing else to compensate for PVE group DPS?

Are you serious? Can we cut this crap about power creep in PvE? The "power-creep" was a thing when proc-sets right after 1T. Since then + sustain changes in Morrowind "power-creep" hasn´t been an issue. As soon as people adapt to new changes and manage to come close to old numbers in terms of DPS people scream "power-creep". When it comes to off-balance changes the 15-20 second immunity against bosses is way to long. I think an immunity to PvE mobs is just weird, but if ZOS want to have an immunity reduce it to maximum 10 seconds at least or magDK will be (with uncertainty) be even less common in vet-trials.
The only way I see magDK getting back into PvE (with off-balance changes in mind):
* Give them a cost-reduction passive for all class-skills
* Revert the changes to Battle Roar and Helping hands to it´s pre-Morrowind state
* Reduce the cost of certain skills.
@NiclasFridholm And what is this thing I read about magicka Templar jabs doing less damage now? Did ZOS stealth nerf it or wtf is happening?

motivation to complete cadwells silver = gone.
Why put in a change that will stop people playing the game? one of the big reasons to continue questing was you got something for it, and now its just being handed out like candy to new toons, ie new players mainly.
No, i dont have it yet, but id rather get it from cadwells silver, than just hitting lvl 40.
