    Yeah, you could light/heavy attack with a sword- but most of your crit will be in spells not weapons. That makes the monster set less effective.

    Mag DK is what screams to me for this set

    Though magblade and magplar will use it way better

    Crowd control immunity now grants immunity to all interrupt effects. After a cast time or channeled ability is interrupted, you will be immune to any future interrupts until crowd control immunity wears off.

    Does this also apply to ressing, meaning it becomes impossible to prevent players from ressing their allies in PvP?

    Don't like the change to RotW transmute crystal drops, considering the drop rate from dungeons is so low. If drop rates do not increase, I would like to see a matching drop in transmute costs - a 'bag limit' of 200 crystals (for ESO+ members) does not even allow to to transmute a 5 piece set of gear.

    I also don't see any indication of how many writ vouchers the storage chests will cost - does anyone know?

    Also not a lot of detail about the homes - Crown store only or in game gold, achievement based?

    I know stuff changes between initial PTS and actual release but please give us some idea...

    why make template characters only have 100,000 gold? thats not even enough to fully upgrade bagspace.....

    @zassasaurus use crowns to upgrade bag space on PTS. Crowns refresh every day and everything only cost 1 crown each.

    Maybe they limited gold to get feedback on gold costs for the outfit system?

    Sure ... but right now no one uses magDK's in PvE because they constantly consume the off-balance debuff and tank your group's DPS.

    At least now your magDK won't be a detriment to the rest of the group.

    No, the reason they weren't allowed is because they take up a melee spot. If this were the case. No one would be using stam DK's either because they hvy attack everything. The reason no one uses magdk is because they can stick a stamina toon in there to do 10-15k more dps. Magdks didn't need a change to off balance. They need led to be able to bring something special to the table. More damage, something. But nope.

    The “Hide Helmet” hat and Outfit style is not currently functioning properly, and will be fixed in the next PTS patch.

    Does this also include the hide helmet option under gameplay? Either I'm blind or it has decided to go on vacation.

    Assuming I'm not blind, I'm hoping it's merely on vacation and not gone for good, because I'd like to keep helmets hidden on my costumes. I'd like to be able to see my characters heads no matter what they have on, otherwise I won't be able to make use of all the hair styles and whatnot I have purchased in the past.

    Small suggestion, for the costume stuff, would it be possible to get a "none" option?
    i.e. you select it on the shoulders and your shoulder Armour is rendered invisible

    ...also a little bummed out that I can't make a staff sword/sword that shoots magic, and the lack of trial group finder :neutral:

    So a magicka Dk can spam Powerlash 5 times in a row now (confirmed by a friend on PTS). Totally not overbuffed :trollface:
    I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

    Yea my point is that stam DK's who are welcomed into trials also consume the offbalance for EVERYONE as well with their hvy attacks. However they are welcomed because of their potential dps output. Magdks consume offbalance with their whips but can't do the same damage in the same melee spot. So yea, while it's true they consume off balance, so does everyone else's hvy attacks.

    Isn't this a bit too much. This is like a 25% uptime now which in term is equal to 7.5% damage loss for each person in the group. This is a huge nerf for most DDs.

    @rosendoichinoveb17_ESO I was wondering about that one too.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno How long does off balance actually last if it is not removed by a heavy attack or flame lash? And why is it 15-20s, does it vary by boss, or what is the actual cooldown?

    It's definitely a nerf, I'm just not sure by how much. In a group with a lot of stamina DPS heavy attacking and a few lightning walls, off balance could be sub 50% already, but with other groups >90% is also common.

    It most likely means that there's no point in having more than 1 or 2 lightning walls, so most Magicka DPS will go to an inferno back bar. This will lead to MagDK's becoming more desirable in a group (engulfing flames 10% increased fire damage for everyone). It also could mean Ilambris will find more use again, with inferno/lightning becoming more popular than lightning/lightning. It also may make 75 points in Thaumaturge no longer worth it, so more can be placed in MAA, EE, or EB.

    I'm predicting a shift in the Magicka meta with little actual DPS loss, while stamina may lose around 5% DPS.

    Actually Ive been working on a mdK burst build without puting a single point into thaum (not even for off balance) and seems way stronger

    No. This was confirmed on ESO Live @TomCarterESO

    A 15th character slot will be available to purchase.

    Many of the big rewards (such as crates and mount) are 1 time per account anyways.

    Oh, and it's that 10k horse from the stables..

    What buff? I see a big nerf there. Some 2H mdK used a full heavy before power lash to trigger Follow up... now that option has gone forever...

    No, it is also against other players in PVP.

    My best guess is that they designed that change around improving magDK PVE performance, and haven't given a lot of though to how it will impact PVP. As is on PTS now, Power Lash is now a spammable that both damages and heals with a 5-digit tooltip and costs literally nothing. I know magDKs have been calling for a buff, but this is just over the top.
