Today, for the first time in my life, I had loading screen INSIDE DESHAAN!!!!

How's that even possible?? Going from enchanter shop to blacksmith (10 seconds trip).

Seems since Update 17 (Dragon Bones) load screens suddenly took a huge hit. The DLC ones in particular seem nasty, some of them taking as long as 10 minutes to load, or not at all, forcing a client close. It honestly, for me, seems limited to DLC load screens, the rest seem normal and the same as before.

I cannot believe you don't have a few critical team members that could deploy a fix for this over the weekend. You may as well put a big banner up on login that says, "Hey, we don't have the resources to make sure this game is stable at ALL TIMES, and we left a KNOWN BUG in place for DAYS because our people don't work the weekend. Go out and play one of a HUNDRED other games that don't do this to their playerbase."

Also, your guild store system is a total joke with these load times. I literally spend most of my time staring at loading screens as I run to traders. It's making me ask...what's the point of this? It's worse than WoW flight paths at this point.

I have to agree. An entire week has almost gone by and not one hot fix or any attempt to fix any of the numerous bugs that have been reported or the load screen issue.

What really gets my goat is this load screen issue that completely got worse with Dragon Bones has been plaguing this game for over three years. In addition, many of the bugs that came with Dragon Bones were reported on the PTS but ZOS in their ultimate wisdom decided to go live with the buggy content anyways.

Why because ZOS knows players will put up with it. They always do. For the ones who get fed up and leave five or six take their place. Why do you think the leveling system was introduced? It wasn't for the old players but to dray new ones. But you are right about supporting ESO plus. Take the money from them and you hit them were it hurts and get their attention. Thats another reason why Dragon Bones was released in the state it was they were in a hurry to cash in on the new outfit system.

As of now, our only update is that our engineers and programmers are still working to pin point exactly what’s causing this. Until we know, we won’t be able to put in a fix. As for what you can do to help…

Let us know which system and megaserver you’re on if you’re currently having this issue.
If you’re on PS4, please specify if you’re on a regular PS4 or PS4 Pro.
If on Xbox, please specify if you’re using an Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Xbox One X.
If you’re a PC player, let us know what sort of processor you’re running.
Is there any specific area or zone you consistently see a long loading screen?
What are you doing when you experience a long loading screen?
I.e.: Using a wayshrine, resurrecting, looting, etc.
Are you utilizing any sort of SSD?
If you play on Xbox, is the game installed on the internal hard drive or an external hard drive?
If you’re on PS4, are you using the first party hard drive or a replacement?

Wish I had a dollar for every time they put the above out. It tells me none of them even play the game they have to work on. It also tells me they do not want to have to look through layers of buggy game code that they themselves created.

ALSO the date of Bruno's post Nov 2017 and the state of this game today. We have had Three months of absolutely nothing from ZOS to fix the load screen issue.

Vvardenfell loading screens (at least for wayshrine) seem to be restored to before patch. Login on the other hand seems to take 15 seconds longer now (Riften: 30 before fix, now 45) which means I can move my alts back to Vvardenfell again.

This is still far from good and not acceptable in the long term. Logging a bunch of alts for doing crafting writs is still a royal pita. Funny enough this seems to have been addressed by ZOS by ninja-nerfing the drop chance fro rare crafting materials from writ reward chests which makes logging alts for writs at LOT less attractive.

The more populated an area the worse it is. Vvardenfell I saw an improvement around the 2 - 4 am EST as had a lot fewer people on, even less with the steam issue.

Since the update 3.3.6 it's been working and Video Settings back to the pre-update 17 for me.Waited to reply as wanted to have several tries across as many areas as I could see.

Still get a weird lag wall next to the Vivec City Wayshrine near the Giant Niix. FPS drops by about 95% for 2-3 seconds whne I approach it. Been an issue since Vvardenfell came out, I do not see this at any other Wayshrine in Vvardenfell.

Every time I switch to another entity/toon I immediately facepalm due to the loading time as well as just about any other loading act.

For such a great game and in so many ways to have these mind numbing loading screens is a full blown shame.

Get it fixed plz!!

screens on ps4 have been better since DB on pc they are worse. got one today in The Gold Coast. had enough time to go make a sandwich.

Good evening,

PC/NA, encountered a long (5 minute) load screen after logging into the game to get to the character selection screen.

After about 20 minutes of play i was exiting the dark brotherhood sanctuary and encountered an unending loading screen. As of the time of this post the screen has been loading for ~10 minutes. I will be shutting down the game and try to get back in.

While fighting Velidreth, in maze transition, everyone in the party got stuck in infinite loading screen. This showed up since last patch, 3.3.8, which resolved loading screens after relogging (i suppose).

It does not happen often, just sometimes. But I also get a loading screen inside a city. It's no big deal takes like 10 seconds to go away. More of an inconvenience like. A bit like "what? Did I move so fast on my mount that the game needs more time to load the next area? " xD

Last night I had super long loading screen when I was doing daily heist (Glittering Grotto). I just decided to kill process after 2-3 min and suddenly my HDD started to load. This is 1st time happened, but I finally reached lvl 12 so I won't do heists ever again anyway.

So, yeah... just trying to log in here to kill one thing for the free Crown Crate. Been staring at the spinning logo in the bottom right corner for nearly six minutes waiting for the character screen on my Mac. This is stupid ridiculous. I could have loaded World of Warcraft, Diablo 3 and SWTOR three times each in this amount of time.

Tonight absolutely appalling.
Tried to do Thieves Guild Crime Spree Writ.
Three Zones, Auridon, Grahtwood and Greenshade.
Got loading screen twice just running to where the chests are.
Also go loading screen running INSIDE the Thieves Guild.
I run a half-decent Chillblast gaming PC and don't normally have lag issues.
Game utterly unplayable tonight.

ZOS's failure to handle the load screen issue, crashes and disconnects for that matter will eventually backfire on them. No sense ranting about it. Nothing is going to change. ZOS is all about making money not spending it. Most likely the cost involved to seriously address those issues is not something they want to finance. So their game will continue in it's same state of sub standard performance. By no means is this bashing ZOS. With over three years now of having to deal with load screens, crashes and disconnects I am stating the obvious.

Was in PVP tonight (EU) and loading screens were really bad.....had to leave it, was a shame as was in a guild group and was having fun.
