Deathshead Legion: Strong presence of 10-15 on raid nights, pretty much no presence other nights. I've seen them once or twice only lately but they may have moved to another server because I've seen them much less.
Respecced my nightblade since while I really liked magblade, I missed having the ability to roll around and kite people around a tower. Coincidently, the amount of teabags and hate tells I've been getting have risen exponentially.
Nothing impressive this clip around, I was just having such a blast on my nb that I thought I'd share some of the fun moments.

The 2h execute does flow much better than killer's blade, to me at least. Ever since they last made changes to the animations (Dark Brotherhood DLC perhaps?) Killer's Blade has felt really wonky as far as trying to cancel it goes. And even though it doesn't heal you the 2h execute (whichever morph you prefer) starts scaling at 50% instead of 25% so you get an advantage there as well.Scrub_Potato wrote: »You're using the Two Hand executioner instead of the NB one? Is it because it flows better? I have been trying to get a NB to work forever (Not a good NB, like I am not great at Stamplar, but my NB is abysmal lol). I always just figured the Stam morph for the NB's execute ability was better than the Two handed one, but maybe I am wrong??
RE: Gate Camping, and factions holding all the map and zerging down any player that even tries to go near a keep or resource to try and take just one thing back on the map back.
I don't know what you can do to prevent this. On one side "All's fair in love and war", and the game already has a 'safe space' built in where you can't be attacked, so you will always have some individuals that think this tactic is ok no matter what. On the other, it clearly discourages people from playing PVP (and especially disappointingly, discourages new players) no matter which faction they are from.
As you are never going to change human nature, perhaps some in game mechanic could be devised to prevent the problem? Maybe have a demarcation zone around each gate and its associated home keep where 30 minutes (or some other arbitrary time period) after the gate is opened, you no longer score AP for killing players? Have this zone reset only after the gate is closed. That way there would be no incentive for players to gate camp or hold the oppositions keeps nearest the gate unless they are still after the scroll. Or maybe people can come up with better suggestions?

Edit:
You can see in my video here that killer's blade appears to be working very smoothly. This was recorded right before the Dark Brotherhood DLC launched. I remember changing to 2h/bow after that instead of dw/2h. (First person trigger warning on the video, also sorry for the quality, was still getting the hang of recording video from ESO at the time)

Made a visit to Sotha Sil tonight. Hope that was alright with everyone. Had a blast. Was a very fun, fruitful night and I heard laughter and genuine joy in my discord for the first time in a while.
I've seen Ignis Veritas running a pug group most of the time and so does Drunk and Pantsless late at night. Their group sizes, or at least group plus straphangers/followers, runs in the 20s on the low end and the 40s on the high end. None of us have any idea where all these pug swarms came from, but they sure weren't there during the Great War to help push DC (to be fair the guilds I mentioned were there, but not the swarms that have since swelled their group ranks).

I'm sitting outside of Glade in stealth watching AD and EP trade it back and forth for AP right now. A group of 8ish EP rides in, takes the keep, then leaves to take resources without repairing the doors. When they leave, a group of 4-5 AD comes in, takes the keep, then leaves to take resources without repairing the doors. Real classy, guys.

HAHAHA I wonder what guild, or more to the point, what person this is? Jokes I don't wonder, I know. Sot his is how you farm your AP to get back to top of the ladder for emp, and stay there. Got all your sheep helping you. What happened to you going over to EP permanently so you could 'make sure we never emp on any campaign ever'? Good to see you back with your tail between your legs. I don't even need to mention your name. Everyone on AD knows who you are.
I dont know why you always keep hinting towards me, it is very obvious lol.
Didnt you get banned on forums for posting stuff like this?
can't we all just be friends?

Overall guilds reshuffling has at least made the evenings more entertaining when all the different crews are out raiding.
