[Add-on Request]: Miat's PvP Pump-fake

Hey guys, I'm tossing this out as an open request - it would be SO AWESOME to have a hard counter to "Miat's PvP Alerts" -

If it's possible, all it would need to do is constantly send fake alerts to your target such that Miat's addon will be constantly alerting its users, leaving them unable to discern which alerts are real and letting them burn their stamina needlessly.

Anybody up to the task? How about you @Dorrino? Is it time to tame the beast you created?

You can't fake a notification like that, it's a reporting and u.i. Interaction scripting language.

If you could reliably fool the app into thinking you were sending that many attacks, you would literally be doing it and miat would just report it.

zenimax, please fix this problem that people use these type of methods to cheat in pvp.

It may be possible to create an add-on that determines if a user is dodging attacks consistently higher than other people though.

You could use something that logs combat with milliseconds, dump that data to a file and then trend graph compare the data to see if there are specific points where people are outside the normal trends.

This would be a guess of course, it you would be able to identify either ridiculously good players or players being informed about attacks from API.

On the subject, you can't produce fake EVENT_COMBAT_EVENTs. This is outside of the scope of lua on the client.

Your add-on makes main-hand bow builds nearly obsolete, which is extra sad because it's already a combat underdog even without the "help" of your add-on.

'Main-hand bow builds' were never effective outside of xv1 and ganking.

In any case the answer to your question is - unfortunately not possible to do.

Nope, the compass was the first thing I've disabled.

Looked in ESOUI, could not find any "3D compass". Could you leave a link so I could look at it.
