This cycle is pretty disgusting. Whenever I set foot into Cyro...checking map...nope. I am amused about that potato emp though. Once a zergtato, always one. Hope he goes back to BDO and be a potato there....anyone has that screenshot still, where he claims what he has accomplished on ESO? *giggles*

As an example of how campaigns change with each cycle, it'll be interesting to see what happens with AD next campaign because according to TD's discord chatter, they're moving to Almalexia at the end of this campaign. I wonder who will step up as pug wrangler, if anyone.

I'd jokingly suggest IOTE do it, but I'm afraid I'd give my fellow guildmates collective war flashbacks lol

who is the main aggressor right now on the server? DC? because most everyday, AD has DC keeps to the gates. This is around 6:45PM EST. then for the rest of NA prime time, DC takes everything back. This is a daily thing. DC Gate keeps are flipped daily.

So what is the depressing situation we are talking about right now, please? for clarifications sake.

For ep I imagine it is mainly the dearth of organized groups or experienced players. Ad and dc seem evenly matched enough in my perspective, though their times with the largest pops seem not to coincide.

I agree that the AD and DC populations tend to not coincide as well as could be hoped. I also feel like certain people wait to push until more of the opposing factions log off for the night...

I don't know about this DC being at their gates "daily" and "most everyday". More like occasionally. DC does have emp and scrolls pretty much every day so it's to be expected that when AD+EP log on during prime time, that they would want those back. At least DC has pop to fight back with when this happens. In fact, DC has had the pop advantage over the other factions pretty much since the start of the campaign, so it's easy for DC to take their keeps back. It's not the same as AD+EP waking up with no keeps and DC camping them. Now that's a daily thing.

I have seen many of the EP guilds that I saw on Sotha Sil fighting on Vivec instead over the last week. I actually haven't played in sotha sil myself for over a week, but I can only guess the EP abandoned ship.

I wouldn't say abandoned, but between Morrowind and the leader board, a lot of groups went off to make their own fun.

That's why West EP would occasionally spring into existence in lieu of actual map play, there wasn't exactly a huge need to wrangle zone chat and actually push for Emp.

And without Emp there's not much hope of controlling the map when outnumbered.

I'm glad to hear we're at least helping slightly. It's been a roller coaster of a campaign. I think the overall experience has been kinda draining. I mean, when Gandhi and I joined, we really just threw ourselves into it, we got invested and didn't consider that people (As always, we honestly should have expected it) would start drama, or try and demoralise us or our group.

I mean, the Harzan Pact problem didn't really effect CD, considering it wasn't us they had a problem with, and most of the players from HP were in CD as well, but it was difficult to hear the majority of their members say that HP was the only group that did anything.

There's been a lot going on to discourage my PvP play, but I'll try my best to hold on for you guys.

I'm sure it will get better, I'm honestly hoping for it. As for your question about which faction is doing what, it's honestly both AD and DC. DC will do it throughout the night and during the morning, and AD will come back and retaliate by pushing DC back to their gates. I know TD is behind some of it, as the leader told me specifically they had been pushing blue back to the gates as a sort of vengeance, not sure about the other guilds though.

I'm sure they are. I'm sure the 7 DC players that ran me over at the gate are very proud of themselves too. Because obviously the only appropriate response to a single AD soloing some resources is for 7 DC to go running to camp the nearest AD gate.

Thats pretty sad. besides Imperium of the Eagle, Total Dominionation, and Tertiary Meat - what other AD guilds are still on Sotha Sil?


Also, wasnt it TD that not too long ago was talking about how they had a 5 raid army on top of a 10 man first response emp team running their turf? or is that out dated info at this point?

Hm...I haven't seen them hit higher than two raids (maybe one and a half?) lately, but maybe someone else can give better info. I think that's a little dated at this point.

I'm also not sure what other AD guilds there are. According to TD's discord, they're moving to Almelexia at the end of this campaign so it might just be TM and IOTE that are regularly running soon.

Yeah, probably should have been a little more specific.

When I'm able to be on during prime time, IOTE generally averages at about maybe
12 -16, I think. So a sizeable group, but not a full raid. (@EdmundTowers would be able to give better group averages, though.)

So right now, AD has TM which is a small man, IOTE which is a mid to large group and TD has custody of the pug zerg for at least another few days.

Hey all. TD guild leader here. We're not going to Alma, but actually Vevic, as for zergs being smaller, instead of having multiple, we wanted to stray further from that, and cut it down to 1. In vevic we'll stop public zergs entirely and just stick with guild runs, that's the direction we are hoping for. SS relied on TD for a lot of it, and we wanted to avoid that. We'll be switching at the end of this campaign. A lot of you some nice people and value everyones friendship! It's been a great 4 campaigns and we'll probably pop in now and then. I bid adieu my friends!

DL just resumed weekly PvP now that everyone has a warden or whatever, and the state of Sotha is not...inspiring.

Popped into Sotha Sil in off-peak the other day to see how it was going and test a build. DC had the map and 3 bar pop to 1 AD and EP. I horse simulatored to Chal lumbermill and took the resource. One DC shows up. Okay, cool... I move away from the guards so we can have a fair fight. 11 other DC pop out of stealth as soon as I engage.

Wow.

So DC gate camping nightly... deja vu.

IOTE average is more like 6-12. Sometimes we can hit ~16 on the weekends. If TD leaves we can maybe run a pug group alongside our guild only group, but I don't see that happening often, we're not as active as TD is/was.

Given that Mnem sat at Warden for three days straight last week without being recovered, it is factually incorrect that DC gate keeps get flipped daily.

Last night, we got both DC scrolls because DC sat their whole faction at Aleswell to hold emp. But the gates were open for less than half an hour.

Spoon lost the internet and came back to AD with one keep left and defending Altadoon at the gate. We took two keeps and then Spoon logged off. But she forgot to grab a Necro necklace from the vendor, so she just logged back on. Of course, DC was gate camping the pugs at 7:00 AM EST.
