So you're telling me Chuck Norris alone tipped the scales? (please no chuck norris jokes)

    i doubt it.

I must be EP because that's the only faction I don't hate today.
The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. Who knows?

what did you expect? as soon as the thread opened, @Sanct16 flagged it for being in the wrong subforum even though the other 3 Azura threads werent a problem.

moments later @ZOS_BillE moved it to the Campaigns sub forum (that sanct suggested) that experiences little to no traffic with the intent of limiting visibility for a thread that was an otherwise repeat offender when it came to forum community policy violations.

    so here we are. RIP.

You could link this thread in the last Azura's thread to try to direct peeps. Most forum users have the threads they go to the most bookmarked, may help a bit. Or, have the OP just rename Azura thread to Sotha, thats what we did with the Bwb thread. Just a thought.

*Or ask mods to do it bc I think I just recalled OP is no longer on forums.. lol

Also Battlegrounds are more fun, excepting the times we have a raid night and raise our own rogue state out of the corpses of DC faction zergs.

So what was that 100 man EP ball group yesterday? Some PVE guilds having some PVP fun or something? Only ones I recognized were Deaths Head Legion and Vokundein. That was pretty gross.

Also, GG on 4 AM emp PVdoor, DC.

I think you might be talking about <Scourge Alliance> as detailed in the old thread post

They are good guys and its always a blast to go up against all them werewolves!!

Wait...what? DL is not even officially running again until this weekend, due to people wanting to level new baby toons. We haven't had more than a 6-8 man group since MW dropped, and yesterday it was like 4. Are you sure you got guild nameplates on?

    LOL

No, it was a legit poplock with 100+ EP in the same keep. Within the keep itself, they were organized and a very tight ball group of at least 2 raids in their core. There were other smaller groups as well but there was a core group of 40+ that I did not recognize. I'm guessing they might be former Haderus that have switched over since Amalexia is a complete failure.

Most didn't have a tabard. DL and Vokundein were the ones I recognized. Even if you had 4-8 man and are zerg surfing a 100 people then yeah, doesn't matter your group size. One of the groups might have a flower related name. And oh yes, there was some Scourge Alliance too but they didn't seem that big, maybe one of the periphery 10-16 mans running around.

Were able to wipe the 40+ EP group on the stairs at dethrone. Was just an impressive amount of EP because there were still another 40 or so outside that didn't push in, and the another 10-20 camping outer doors. Was easily 100+ EP for the dethrone. Ran into the same 100+ defending Chalman from DC while we went up there to mess with them because hitting other targets would be a PVDoor with only a handful of people reacting to us wherever else we went.

Stark contrast from the DC dethrone the night before with approx 38 AD there to do it. Haven't seen a zerg like that in quite a while. The CP version of EP is usually around 80 people moving together. Was odd to see a larger EP zerg in Sotha Sil.

Yeah, that 4 man shoulda avoided that big kafuffle at all costs, and instead gone and fought the robots at the Brindle mine, so you could come on here and accuse them of PvDooring or whatever.

What was this post for? You wanted to point out that Vokundein and Deathshead players were spotted...at a battle?

Ok. Noted. The 40 man was maybe Dreadlords, or one of the other PVE guilds like the Werewolf guild having a Wednesday event. How dare they. Gods forfend that more people outside the core community get into PVP and have some fun. Why, if this goes on, Sotha Sil is going to be full of players! How awful, right?

Wow touchy much. I was asking who they were and if it was a PVE event because I haven't seen 100+ EP in a single spot since Trueflame last patch. It was a bit unusual.

I didn't call other (PVE) players having PvP fun without clearance "gross", or make the boring boilerplate complaints about PvDoor emps, like my faction never does it. I didn't even run to the forums and cry last week when DC literally gate camped EP and started shooting coldfire into the base. :-)

So no, I'd say you sound a bit touchy. Maybe the tone I inferred from your post is not what you really intended. So no harm, no foul.

In any case, your question was answered, it was almost certainly the WW guild doing WW Wednesday. I hope that helps.

    Best Rgrds.

I'd expect to see more WW then if it was them, granted there were a few. I was more curious about who it was running 2 raids in a coordinated TS because they moved together like a school of fish and it was clear they were coordinated, and there 40+ of them. That group wasn't werewolves. And yes, the more the merrier just try to spread out more so there's more than one fight going on for the entire map.

And yes, I would feel gross if ever caught me with 100+ of my own faction. It happens on occasion for emperor dethrones of course but that's to be expected. Will you ever see me in 100+? Of course, it's unavoidable sometimes. Will I feel gross about it? Yes, yes I will.

The most I'm usually around is 70ish DC on old Trueflame. I've seen large AD groups but haven't ever really stuck with them. The way they changed O-ticks though, it is hard to keep riding past sometimes.

I am being told by a DL member who was on during said battle, that at least some of them are a brand new PvP guild called Praise the Sun. They were trying to practice group formations and tactics.

Priase the sun is Borgia Bull's EP guild, Maoh. I ran with them once on my EP in BWB, he said he wants to develop them in the style of TM.

Priase the Sun used to run in BwB, seems like they moved to vet campaigns. Be warned, they love to ride the pony simulator all the way to Ash when you expect it the least.
