This. Would it be nice if every build ever was viable? Sure. Is that realistic? No. I go through this in Diablo on a regular basis. I frequently make non-optimal builds because they strike me as entertaining. I know for a fact that I will not be pushing into GR90+ with them, but I'm okay with that. They implemented the CP system without understanding what they were doing, and ever since then have been in damage control mode trying to balance the game. Every single "balance" patch since 1.6 has been trying to deal with the CP system (and the removal of softcaps...).
