And don't pretend like magicka builds don't have procs. Infernal Guardian, Grothdar, Valkyn Skoria are some of the most OP sets in the game. They also have visible or audible indicators meaning that you can time burst with them. You can't time an incap with a velidreth since it's all chance, but you can time an assassin's will with a skoria because you can listen for the meteor. You can do the same with infernal guardian and with Grothdar.

None of those sets are half as cancerous as Viper.

Infernal is nowhere near as powerful. Skoria is easy to counter. Grothdar isn't that powerful comparatively. None of those compare to Viper cheese.

A Battleground guild sounds great, but if people can still run Viper, that's a big turn off for me, especially if I'd be giving upthe BIS ultimate.

You call destro ult BiS and say you want to use it but act like viper is the end of the world.

It's a 3v3 scenario. The scariest procs a team could run according to you is 3 stamina players using viper, but such a team lacks cross heals or healing wards. A team with more build diversity will be able to easily support each other through 3 proc bursts with heals and ccs, and will have greater kill pressure because the proc team isn't able to cross heal.

The strongest teams that we've had are actually two light armor members wearing Pirate Skeleton who can cross heal each other + one stamina guy for a quick dawnbreaker cc. Healing ward and resto ult are among the best skills for these types of fights. Most of the teams aren't even using proc sets at all.

We limit proc sets to one per build, which you'll see in the rule list. This is sufficient. If anything, we've had problems with too much survivability. Proc burst has been under control.

I did see the one proc set rule, I disagree that it's sufficient.

You speak from opinion and emotion based on getting procced down in Cyro. We speak from experience in having run these events under these rules. If anything, the main problem we face is excess survivability, not burst. Try again.

Can vouch for this. I sat in tonight, mostly spectating, and it was was a very low key event.

There seemed to be some sporadic understanding of the rules though. I saw several people using poisons and I fought a stamplar using Selenes -- which was fine IMO because he wasn't exploiting the double proc.

It was fun being reminded that out-sustaining your opponent is a viable playstyle option when you aren't eating destro ults left and right.

If you say so but I really wanted to duel him but he brought the cheese I said fine one more gain just to see if I could beat the cheese so instead after the second one I lost I quit cause obviously I was going to get kicked anyway cause I brought the cheese and that pretty much ended the tournament. My cheese vs said persons cheese. My cheese is greater

Just an idea. bring this to IC and have the 3rd faction flip the flag. You kill npc's to clear the flag then the match for the "neutral" flag starts . You're welcome for the new game mode.

I would join if you guys included skill(guild) rank tiers. where as the better players are matched vs each other and the plebs like myself can play and learn.

Not a bad idea. Assume they will do the matchmaking based on skill tiers otherwise it'll just demoralize newer PVPers.

No I wasn't trolling I did start ganking when I got salty and left the guild but all that saltiness went to the one player. I got my revenge multiple times but like I said I wanted you know real duels.

As for Kena's friends ruining events, you would have to ask them. First events were ok. But people are just idling and not attending events even when in cyrodiil. Also ruining events and ganking, Just a *** show. Probably a good thing you got kicked anyway.

Not easy to host these kind of events. People jumping in and ganking has been happening since the first Legend tournaments, but we still appreciate you guys taking the time to organize them because they are fun as hell.

Keep going and try to make a regular weekly time for these if you can.

I warned Irylia against exactly that kind of silliness happening during our initial guild meeting, and look what happened...

My friends' actions were wrong, and we've spoken about it. The situation was handled within 24 hours. But Irylia overreacted as well, and this whole situation could have been avoided if he'd heeded my advice in the beginning.

You were not there..you didnt even show up to your own events. Why are you even commenting like you were relevant?

Irylia was in charge of that event. He knew I wouldn't be able to attend ahead of time and, as an officer in our guild, should have been capable of conducting the event on his own.

That was the only event which I was unable to attend, but I was in Discord listening to it all go down and spoke with witnesses after the fact.

I don't follow. Your groups were the ones building defensive with excessive max health, Troll Kings, Pirate Skeletons, and resto ult chains. I lasted a really long time in the fight you reference despite having no such buffs or cross heals from my teammate, eventually dying to almost 8k Implosion damage from the two of you, but we were the side with insufficient damage to get through your excessive builds.

It's fights like that one which the guild was originally intended to avoid... Irylia himself was the one looking for that, but he led the group which ended up destroying it... Again, my friends' actions were wrong, but I can understand why they killed you all in that last event.

Well, yeah, it's kind of hard to do any damage when you're just spamming mist form. Notice the damage from the combat log? Mist form. Like I said, don't build so defensive.

@BrosidenTheKing Just stating what was on the death recap bud. Seeing as how we had no burst heal, I spent a LONG time in execute phase against you guys. Irylia was chaining resto ults with his Pirate Skele sorc, not you. It was a 2v2, not a 1v1. And I used mist to mitigate your damage instead of a 2pc set, but I certainly wasn't "spamming." I'd run out of magicka. xD

EDIT: I just noticed that combat log screenshot is from one second worth of time when I blocked and mist formed some stuff. Not sure how that's relevant to your point.

@BrosidenTheKing Irylia could healing ward and resto ult you, which is why we couldn't focus you. Same reason you couldn't focus Blurri. But Irylia was wearing Pirate with sorc shields, which function identically to burst heals but can't be debuffed.

Irylia, Leif, and I had discussed banning both Pirate and resto ult prior to that day for that reason. They were way overtuned for 2v2-3v3 fights, promoting lazy defensive play.

I spent more time attacking Irylia than playing defensive. Only mist formed when you guys ulted me. What would you have me do? Die? Sorry I didn't make that as easy as you'd hoped. Took almost 10 minutes for you to finally kill me with your stacked passive executes. lol

Notice how all of the toxicity in the guild and this thread comes out of you guys... And that's a pattern going back in dueling guilds for over a year... Do you guys find that fun or cool or something? Irylia came to me and Leif wanting our help making a stable battlegrounds guild, but then he ignored my advice and let it become...this. My 3 friends trolled the last event and wiped your group because people cheesed the fights and made the event unfun and uncompetitive.
